At least the two of you had your chances with your respected objects of affection. I've had to watch the love of my life, (thus far), be in love with someone, get their heart stomped by that said someone, and then fall for yet another person after. For the past three and a half years. (And, you know, considering I'm only 18, that's a pretty decent chunk of my life.) And I've had to be visibly supportive even though I was dying inside with each passing day.
So, you know, be glad you've actually been with them, instead of watching from the sidelines. It's not fun to watch from the sidelines. Especially when they get bitchy when you're apparently not happy enough for them. Bah.

Seriously, though, DR4G0NG1RL - teenage guys are stupid like that. Hold him to helping the baby though - regardless of whatever has passed between you two, don't let it affect her.
You'll be fine - as long as you've got a good head on your shoulders, you should come out alright, and your daughter will too. :3

it's just irritating...
he says we can try again later
that this doesn't change anything...
but it changes everything...
and he was my first real relationship
I had two others before
but neither of them serious
well not TOO serious.
but I've watched from the sidelines too...
because more often for me
I'm just the little sister
or one of the guys....
I don't even show up on radar...
at least not most of the time.

Is response to yuki's deprivational slip, gin responds as thus.
Im in the same boat as you, only with half a year less time. Two and a half years. Gin has to also wait three MORE years just watching. Until he gets out of high school(which i found out starts next monday and not tomorrow, yay) Gin can't do anything but support and talk to the love of his life. So yes, Yuki, I can understand the pain you feel also. I'm in the same boat.
And the relationship i talked about before was ALSO like that.
And i think you'd probably laugh when you find out that face to face relationships involving me usually terminate by the end of the week, if not sooner. I think it probably has to do with age differences and such~
You know. The girl being older and needing guys more around their age to understand/support them?
[sarcasm] I mean, yeah. Gin's totally NOT understanding, or smart or mature enough to use one of his 5 senses to listen to problems or provide emotional support or anything. Nope. Gin'd totally fail at preventing 4 people his age from committing suicide. stare [/sarcasm]

naw; it doubt it's the age thing
being a girl, age isn't really a big deal to us
UNLESS we are over 18 in which case it's to avoid law suits.
granted I'm more inclined to older guys
but I've dated younger and older
and all the guys I've dated have pretty much dropped the ball
as far as paying attention to my emotional needs
well...ONE of them ALMOST did
but his little friend in his pants conflicted him.
so he never ACTUALLY dated me.
but I don't think it has to involve age
unless it's a REALLY big age gap
like 4 or 5 years
so I'm not sure why those girls left you
but I'm inclined to think it wasn't age really.
could have been height.
