Des Voh Well, I haven't been around all that long, sense what...Feburay? "Was the the primary buff panel?" "It did seem to resemble.. "Did the primary buffer panel just fall off my gorram ship for no apparent reason" *Bang, shudder, rock* "Looks like..." Heh. Whenever Link uses a long drawn out alien sounding curse, he's really using Cantonese taken from Firefly.

Cale Darksun Nelowulf Cale Darksun Nelowulf I'm an assassin, Cale. I know how to kill and save every drop if need be. And I'm a Sith Killing Machine. I'm just saying that it would provide an excellent excuse for why he's dead. true. but you show leniency. That is a problem. I really have trouble killing PC's because I'm afraid of being considered a God Modder or an auto-hitter. NPCs are usually fair game, though it's best to work it out ahead o' time, regardless. ^^;;

Cale Darksun Nelowulf That's why I work out the battle long before it comes, so that the ques aren't missed. Sorry about the bout with Hiko. That Character was one of my worst. I really should have felt him out more before throwing him against you. No worries. Though its not hard to see why he went rogue. I can see what you're trying to get at, but he's almost a hypocrite to his own views. At least, on a large scale. on the personal level, probably not so much.

He was supposed to be this bad a** Jedi master with such skill that it made mortal men tremble, a worthy nod to his primary inspiration. But he just wound up a confusing old man. I didnt even stay constant. I may have even crossed a few lines as I attempted to make him a worthy challenge for Ferno. *Sigh* So what makes him a Hypocrite?

"Were gonna explode? I don't wanna explode."
"Jayne, how many weapons you plan on taking? You only got the two arms."
"I just get excitable as to choice. Like to have my options open."
"I don't plan on any shooting taking place during this job.
"Well what you plan and what takes place ain't ever exactly similar."
".....No grenades."
"Wahh?"
"No grenades"
"We crashing again?"
"Talk to your husband, Mule prepped?"
"Good to go, sir. Just load her up."
"Those grenades?"
"Yeah, Captain don't want them."
"Jayne, we're robning the place. Not occupying it."

There's a lot of nitpicky things i could point out.

There's a lot of nitpicky things i could point out. That stuff needs explaining. 1. He's a practical man. He's not above choking a man if it accomplishes his mission when Stealth is required, as its a very effective tactic. Link knows how to Choke too and actually used it quiet a bit during the War. Even Luke Skywalker isnt above choking people. 2. He was certain that the big Gem had some keye point in Ferno's plans. If he broke it, it would save many lives. He was wrong, as humans are prone to being from time to time. 3. He didn't want to confront Ferno because he had already fought Ferno before. He trained Link to be a jedi because he needed a replacement. He was getting old and needed to pass on his knowledge and discipine to the next generation. He considered it Link's job to deal with Ferno, as Link was his replacement and he himself was "retired".

There is no retirement for jedi. Shall I point out Yoda?
And while choking accomplishes a mission, its an agressive attack. Repeated pushing of an opponent into a wall requires less energy, and is just as effective, especially with an ungainly opponent like ferno. Just use Judo. May take longer, but that's basically the core workings of Soresu.

Selling his work paid for vital supplies for the colonists and he was skilled enought help people with injuries. He just retired from active Duty. As for Judo and Grappling, Link's more likely to engage in it than Hiko. Hiko's never been that fond of engaging people with anything but his sword and the Force. Plus, he's an old man. Link wasnt his first apprentice you know. He probably couldnt go well in hand to hand combat against a cyborg.
