After a while they entered a cave, which was, strangely enough completely lit up, and inside about 500 feet was a huge fighting arena.
He turned and faced the students and smiled.
"This is where part of the chuunin exams are held when they are hosted by the hidden mist, I want to see a free for all battle between you all too see how far you have progressed, and how far you need to progress in what areas. The rules are simple, you are all comrades, so there will
be no unnecesary malice, if there is I will be forced to jump in, and under NO circumstances is there to be any killing, no excuses will be tolerated, understood?" he asked before dissapearing in a small cyclone and reappearing above them. "You may begin!"
((OK, this is practice for battles, I suggest you all read the Battle ettiquette maticulously so there is no/less big mistakes. REMEMBER: You are all academy students and therefor fairly equal in strength and skill, no one person will be double the strength or skill of anyone else))

Yamato grinned and says " fine by me" Yamato then waits for the others to reply to the Mizekage.

(ooc: its a cave, but is it like a smooth arena, or does it have outcroppings to hide behind?)

Sarume edged away from the others a little bit, keeping at least three feet between all of the others.
"Let's go." she said, smiling a little bit.

((Oh sorry, its kinda both, its a flattnened arena but has rocky portions and magletites and magledites spread along the floor and ceiling, but its mainly an open space))

(ooc: now that everyone has replied...)
Kasushi, though primarily a ninjutsu user, trained in the use of throwing weapons much more that normal. As soon as everyone was ready, he jumped backward from the rest of the group. While in the air, he swept his arm in a long arc, sending shuriken at all of the others (except the Mizukage). It was not a serious attack, simply to test how quick everyones reations were. He landed about 10 feet from the closest person, Yamato.

Oni-aisu jumped left to dodge the shuriken flying at him. he took a shuriken of his own from the holster on his belt and threw it directly at Kasushi as he landed about three feet away. hoping to startle him.

[Please do not post one-liners. If you give your posts some more detail, it really adds value to the RP. If not much happens in the post fair enough, but give us more insight into your actions and what your character is thinking. Take your time with your posts, and think them through
For example:
Instead of "Oni-aisu jumped out of the way, and threw a shuriken back at Kasushi."
Post: Oni-aisu jumped the right of the oncoming shuriken. Considering the attack wasn't aimed specifically, it wasn't difficult to avoid. Carefully observing his other opponents from the corners of his eyes, Oni delved into the shuriken holster he had attached to his leg, and threw one straight back at Kasushi as he landed, hoping to catch him offguard.

Yamato smiled and quickly dodged Kasushi's suriken and then landed on his feet and said " Since were arent in mist let me make so that we have mist" Yamato quickly said "Kirigakure no Jutsu" and then the setting was now misty he can now do many of his jutsu's since water was now near. Yamato then used the mist in his advantige adn through 3 suriken at all that was close to him

Oni-aisu noticed the shurikens out of the corner of his eye and said quickly "aisu tate no jutsu" to make a 360 degree ice shield as a defence against the shurikens coming at him. When they hit, he dropped the shield to pick up the shurikens, closed his eyes and threw them back at Yamato.

Although the mists were not a big liability, Nakaji did slightly prefer clear vision. After he jumped backward a foot to avoid Kasushi's shuriken, he removed his mask. He made a few quick signs. "Katon Housenka no jutsu!" A stream of fire came out of his mouth. This caused most of the mist around him to evaporate, but also made the area steamy around him. He place his mask inside his pocket, and drew a kunai in his right hand. With his left, he pulled out two shuriken, and threw one at Kasushi, and the other at Oni-aisu, since he was concentrated on Kasushi.

Great, Kasushi has three shuriken attacks coming at him! He stepped to the left to avoid Oni-aisus's, then ducked under Yamato's. He quickly pulled out a kunai, and used it to deflect Nakaji's into the ground right beside him. He then ran to the side of the arena, to hide behind a stalagmite. He muttered something under his breath.
