Laeadin

PostPosted: Mon Aug 21, 2006 10:55 pm

Laeadin's ridged form bumped and bounced as it was drug. He ceased being pulled into the ground due to the commotion, and the blood that seeped onto his shoulders was readily consumed by the unwholesome armor.

Finally getting Laeadin through the Pagoda's gate, Emberis moved him into the grounds a few more feet before he violently removed his hands from the armor, tearing the wounds in his hands some more and splattering more of his blood on Laeadin and himself. Holding his now twiching hands at his side, Emberis looked at Alex and Takara.

"Well... don't just stand there, get inside so I can close the gate."

As Emberis spoke, the holes in his hand began to close up, though his hands were blackened by his own blood.

Alex looked at Emberis, cringing a bit at the sight of his Uncle's bloody hands, then looked at Takara apologetically. Alex offered a hand to Takara, to hel her to her feet...

"I'm sorry for my Uncle... he's not the most friendliest of people, but he trys... sometimes..."

Alex waited for Takara to take his hand before he would move Takara... as he stood there he remembered that She couldn't see and felt a little bad for standing there with his hand out...

"Um... here, let me help you to your feet, please."

Takara blinked in surprise as Emberis extracted Laeadin from the ground and brought him into the Pagoda grounds. However, she was wakened from her thoughts when Alex addressed her, reviving herself enough to take his hand as she stood.

"Thank you, and don't worry about it, your Uncle seems to have good intentions...."

Smiling a bit in amusement at his first comment, she turned to walk back through the gate, her staff firmly held in her right hand. She looked at the place where she could sense Laeadin's aura, her expression composed, though her eyes revealed a bit of puzzlement. Her soft voice expressed her inquiry to anyone who felt they could answer.

"So..what shall we do with him from here? He seems to be as unresponsive as ever..."

Slumped on the ground, he still mumbles to himself occasionaly. His eyes seem forever fixed on the tree's outside.

Travis appeared at the gates before Embris had a chance to close them. He stopped his question long enough to notice both the sword and the crumpled shell of a tortured soul. He sighed. "Why is HE here?" He asked accusingly.

Takara slightly tilted her head to the side in silent inquiry, though she guessed her questions would be answered soon enough. For the moment, she kept her tongue quiet and merely observed those around her as her thoughts wandered, prodding subjects and questions here and there. Emberis' aura seemed a bit agitated, he must not be very happy with the current situation. Though one couldn't blame him; the demi-god of suffering probably wasn't an eagerly anticipated guest.

Emberis looked around at ever one gathered at the gate. He had not expected Travis to show up but that wasn't going to stop Emberis from going through with his plan. He addressed Takara first...

"I've got an idea in mind but for that, I'm going to need t close the gate."

Emberis turned his attention to Travis... something seemed to be troubling him, his energy was a bit distraught. Unlike his younger brother, Emberis made it a point to leave people's emotions to themselves instead of trying to read them...

"You want to know why this guy is here? Ask the pagoda and when it gives you an answer, let the rest of us know. For now, either move or lose it, I need to close the gate."

Emberis closed one side of the gate and waited by the other one for whatever Travis was going to do... needless to say, Emberis was growing very annoyed with this whole event and he wanted some answers... and soon...

Travis shook his head in an exasperated sigh. "Do you know where your sister would have run off to? she's not in the pagoda."

Emberis shook his head and closed the pagoda gate then turned back to Travis, an annoyed expression on his face...

"Do I look my sister's keeper? I do know where she went. I never do... she does her own thing, always have, always will... where she went depends on her mood... think it out."

Walking past Travis, Emberis stood in front of Laeadin's laying form. Which Emebris promptly shoved with his boot...

"Rise and shine sleeping beauty... I want some answers."

Travis let out a curse. "Well, I trust you have everything well in hand here." His wings sprouted out and he put his sunglasses back on. He looked to Takara and Alex. "You two behave now."
With that he took off.

Alex looked around at everyone who was still at the gate and sighed to himself...

"Why doee everyone always tell me to behave myself? Just because I'm my dad's son doesn't mean I'm going to be trying to follow in his younger foot steps... I don't have that kind of stamina."

Sighing once more to himself, Alex turned his attention to Laeadin and waited to see what would happen next.

Takara arched in eyebrow in the newcomer's direction, another person she didn't know due to her mind wipe. Though her thoughts were more on his words than the person himself, did Alex get into trouble often? Her silent inquiry was answered by Alex's own comment, and a flicker of an amused smile crossed her features. However, her attention was soon reabsorbed by the demi-god, wondering if he would actually respond. It was possible Emberis' aura could get through to him through that fog within his mind, at least in theory.
