Stupid life.

NGRAAAR!! Okay. Gather 'round kiddies, it's story time.

I'm in my university's production of "The Country Wife". It's one of those flouncy ye olde plays. (Takes place in around 1675; AKA - the restoration period of England.) Anyways, because of the period, we all have to take ballet in order to learn how to walk gracefully and whatnot.

So every day at 6:30 (except for wednesday and friday.) We take ballet. because of the scheduling, however, wehave to have two different teachers. One teaches mondays, the other teaches tuesdays and Thursdays. So today (tuesday) we had the other teacher.

I HATE this lady.

In her normal, longer, more advanced classes, she usually warms her students up with some pilates. We neither have an extended periodof time, nor any kind of 'advanced' skills, especially in pilates.

So our 'ballet' sessions (which are only required so that we can learn how to walk properly. We aren't going to be doing podiburets or piriouettes or sachets or anything...) are merely a half hour of advanced pilates. None of us are very flexible, save for two girls who do pilates in their free time anyways, and the damn wench can't figure out why we're having so much trouble following direction or why we're complaining of all the pain.

So we're having our little 'ballet' session this evening, and we're in a downward dog. (basically, you bend over and lean foreward to put your hands on the ground so you form an upside down V), and she's walking around, fixing people's posture by pushing between their shoulder blades, which forces one's heels to the ground. Quite a stretch for the legs.

So I've got my heels off the ground because, frankly, I'm not that flexible or loose. So she sees my heels, and with out a word to me (as I couldn't see her with my head facing my legs.) She pushes down on my back and forces my heels to the ground.

And something pops and I suddenly can't feel anything in my right leg save for a searing pain in my hip. I actually cussed out loud, but she didn't let up until my feet were flat on the floor. And then the damn woman expected me to do the rest of the pilates she had planned!!

Needless to say, I was not (and still am not) pleased.



Damn...now if I could only put that much effort into my posts... neutral

@Reverse: In our little 'fight' i'm lost as to where to go. Sure, you beat the cage, but what about the verbally created fire-clone?

-Yawn.- Nothing to fret about Tismos. Fact is we're all in a bit of a funk right now. I'll explain why in a bit in a guild notice.

For now? It's too early to be doing this s**t. I can't believe I woke up already. Yet? I feel completly energized and I hate it. It's abnormal.

The guild's been in a bit of a slump since it got started. The activity's been amazing, but it really isn't what we should be recieving with.. what do we have now? 30 members?

It doesn't help with the fact that our most active members have been absent - but they all have reasons. There's also the fact that it's the season for finals, and a good majority of our members just can't be as active as they'd like. After all, school takes priority over role playing.

There's also the fact that one of our top moderators (Demise) has left us temporarily. Indeed, our situation stinks of death but I refuse to let the guild die. I'll see what I can do to promote activity, but as is there's not a lot I can do
