Emiri kind of stood back at all of this, as all the trainers introduced themselves and such. She didn't exactally have much to say, not knowing what else there was to do without having a way to get at Lance. For the time being, until she knew she would be needed, if at all, Emiri made her self secluded, going to a corner of the shore, taking out all of her pokeballs, except Dialga's for now. She figured that now would be as good a time as any to explain to her pokemon what was going on, because there wasn't much going on right now, though they all weren't quite safe just yet. She knew the worst was yet to come, and the best she could do for her pokemon was explain to them what they might be in for.

Opening her pokeballs, Emiri revealed Charmeleon, Ivysaur, Rhyhorn, Gyarados, and Pidgeotto. They all had a look of understanding on their faces, like they knew something was very wrong as they assessed their surroundings. Without her having to say a word, they all gathered around Emiri, Gyarados curling up in the water beside her.
"Hello everyone," Emiri began, letting her voice be heard, as she readied herself for all the questions of why she was talking to them. Calming them down, Emiri explained every detail, why she was talking to them, what was going on, where they were and why, what was happening to the world. They all listened intently, taking in every word, almost wishing as much as Emiri was, that it all wasn't true.

" Oh cool. You got a Gyarados " He said as he grabbed his pokeballs and let everyone out; " Go Grovyle, Spinarak, Mightyena, slakoh, nuzleaf, and swablu!" He said as all his pokemon went out of their pokeballs and stayed out of the pier, " Emiri..." He said softly before raising his voice " I'd like a little practice battle; your charmeleon against my grovyle... there is no better way to be prepared then by training." He then said as he walked to the shallowest part of the pier, he then jumped on the water and walked to his pokemon.

Brayden was still a bit distracted by the state of his hometown, so he didn't catch the almost-slip Kaya had when he was introducing himself. He watched Emiri go, curiously, but made no move to follow, figuring the girl wanted to get away for a little bit. Which was understandable. Things were bound to get crazy soon, if past experiences had any play in the current trend of things.
Instead he looked Alex, "So you're training to be a dragon master, huh? Looks like Chloe has some competition now," Bray grinned, "I myself train water types for the most part."
'And the best psychic to ever put up with your drama,' Ariadne snorted.
"But I do think that the docks are probably our best bet," Brayden ventured, "I was talking with a few of the people here, and they said that a fisherman vanished from the docks a short while before we arrived. Someone also said they saw what appeared to be a Pokemon."
"I don't know if whatever it is down there is responsible for any of the stuff that happened in Fuchsia, but if its connected to Lance in any way, it has to be stopped," Brayden assumed.
Plus he just needed to vent some frustration out at not being able to do anything while his home and parents vanished. That was more than a little vexing.

"Give me a moment and I'll help you search the docks.. I think I hear something.." Aku said as he tilted his head. Indeed he had heard something. He followed the noise, taking him further away from the group. Amidst an area that seemed to have a house before there was a hole. In this hole was a pokemon. A different colored pokemon that looked shiny. Aku got on his hands and knees and crawled to the pokemon. The pokemon whimpered in fear. "Hey there little buddy.. don't be afraid.. I'll help you." Aku said to the pokemon. Hearing the soothing tones of Aku's voice the shiny pokemon came out of the hole. "So you're an Eevee.. and an odd colored one.. and you're hurt.. here let me help you.." Aku said picking the Eevee up. Aku took out a pack of bandages and some potions, doing a quick doctoring on the pokemon. The Eevee licked Aku's chin in thanks. "Hey Eevee.. can I ask you something? I was wondering if you'd like to join my team and help me on my journey. You'd be a great help if you would." Aku said to the fox like pokemon. The Eevee nodded it's head and Aku said, "Awesome welcome to the team partner." Aku set down Eevee for a moment and took out a pokeball setting that down next to the shiny pokemon. Eevee touched it with it's nose and entered the ball. "I'll keep you with me, but I'll have to say goodbye to Sudowoodo for now.." Aku said picking up Eevee's ball. "Come on out Eevee." Aku said calling out his new pokemon. As Eevee appeared, Aku picked the tiny pokemon up and carried it back to the others. As he arrived back at the group he smiled and said, "Sorry about that I heard something and it turned out to be this little fella here.." Aku explained. He turned to the female trainer Brayden mentioned and asked in wonder, "You're a dragon trainer too? I've got an oddly colored Dratini if you'd like to see it." Aku said, mentioning one of his strongest pokemon. "I don't know how it got it's coloring or how it will look when it evolves but I'm very excited." He said happily. All of Emiri's pokemon were devestated, and distraught at all the information that they had been given, but in time, they all understood. Pidgeotto however, hadn't been listening very well. Emiri, noticing this, took this chance to talk to Pidgeotto.
"Pidgeotto, I know I just barely caught you, and you are the strongest pokemon I have," she began. He sneered at this.
"You were lucky to catch me," he retorted arrogantly. Passing that, Emiri pressed on.
"But this region, the world, is in trouble. Our home, your home, needs our help to stay together. I know this is asking alot, but until this is all over, will you please listen to me? We are all going to have to work together and trust each other to help out however we can, even if that means facing Lance ourselves," she told him desparately. "After this is over, I will work really hard to get my badges, but right now, we need to work together," Emiri said intently. Pidgeotto did listen to this, his sharp eyes locked with Emiri's. Taking her plea into consideration, he could tell that this was really a big matter. Looking at her finally, he nodded.
"Alright, but just for now," he agreed, with slight reluctance. All of Emiri's other pokemon undetstood this, and agreed as well, knowing that it could still be a while before things were back to normal, and in turn, until Emiri could work on her badges.

Knowing that she had an amazing team behind her, she felt a little more comfortable with the matter at hand. Looking her team over for a moment, Emiri took out a few rare candies to give to Gyarados, so that her team could be on the same level. Looking to him, he came to her with content, as Emiri gave him the rare candies, patting him on the forehead. Emiri was facing her pokemon, so she didn't see when Alex was coming up to her, only that her pokemon were watching something. Turning to see, with Gyarados right next to her, Emiri saw Alex coming up to them.
"Well, yes I did. He's truly amazing to be training with," Emiri said, looking to Gyarados as Alex mentioned him. At Alex's offer of a battle, Emiri looked back to Charmeleon who merely shrugged, not knowing how it would go.
"Um, sure Alex. I guess we could battle," Emiri said, stepping away from Gyarados who got back into the water. Charmeleon stepped forward to join Emiri at her side.
"So who starts," Emiri asked, not really seeing this the right time to battle.

Emiri looked down to Charmeleon, worried about her, remembering Grovyle's focus punch attack. Even though Emiri knew Charmeleon was strong, she didn't know any advanced fire type moves. Charmeleon looked up to Emiri.
"I'll be fine. And besides, it's not like you can't battle again," Charmeleon said. Emiri nodded.
"Alright Charmeleon, get ready," Emiri offered, Charmeleon stepping forward to accept the battle.

Charmeleon took a stance as Grovyle appeared before Alex, wasting no time to get an attack in. Charmeleon was signifigantly taller than Grovyle, so the force of the blow wasn't too extensive, but it still hurt her. Shaking off the attack, it was her turn.
"Charmeleon, you know what to do. Use smokescreen," Emiri called out. Taking aim at Grovyle, Charmeleon released a thick haze of smog, engulfing Grovyle, and knowing the combonation, Charmeleon released an ember attack while Grovyle couldn't escape the smoke.

" Got it... I'll use speed as my weapon." He said as his pokemon walked out of the smoke. " Alright, lets hit them hard; quick attack, then focus punch!" He said, his pokemon used the first attack and got to the trunk of a tree near him, it then jumped and placed it's feet on the, after that it used another quick attack, as it got closer to her pokemon grovyle moved it's hand back and prepared thr focus punch, once it got close to charmeleon it struk her feet with the quick attack and aimed for her face with the focus punch. 120 + 30 = 150

Emiri watched in horror as Charmeleon struggled to get up from the brutal attack. Using smokescreen was merely a strategy, but apparently Alex hadn't caught on, and he wasn't treating it like a small battle anymore. Only wanting to keep Charmeleon from getting too hurt, Emiri got past a fair strategy, and knew it was time to finish it.
"Charmeleon use ember, then scratch to finish him off," Emiri called out. Charmeleon got up, barely, and released a massive flurry of burning embers at Grovyle, masking Charmeleon as she ran towards him with the final blow of a furious scratch attack.
