Kaito cocked his head to the side as a blade formed out of her palm. He hadn't seen that before - and it had a strange appearance to it, bright white. "Boy? You can call me Kaito!" He grinned as his clone charged forward.
The real Kaito began turning his body into flower petals as the clone tried to tackle her.

Maeko quickly took a new stance right foot out, facing him, left foot to the left. She was making an L with her feet. "And I'm Maeko!" Ready to try out some of the Buki' she'd learned. Her blade was held defensively, waiting for him to close the gap. Her attention was affixed to the clone, not even noticing the real Kaito flower away. When he closed the distance, she suddenly swung her bone blade at him, chakra flying off of it in an arc, right at the would be Tackler.
Flowing Stance [ E ] Flowing Stance sets the swordsman's feet in an L stance, where the weaker foot points forward in front of them and their stronger foot points away to the left or right depending on the foot and behind them. The swordsman's weapon is held in a defensive position in front of them. Any Phantom Slayer technique that is executed from this stance have their costs reduced by 5, if complex, stamina is reduced only. The user cannot pay less than 5 chakra or stamina. The clone burst into petals as the Kaguya sliced through it, though the chakra-infused flora had an unfortunate affect. Maekko would begin to feel infatuation towards Kaito because of her close interaction with the petals. Kaito, having never used the technique before, was none the wiser.
"Nice to meet you, Maekko!" He said as his body finished becoming a collection of petals. "Do you think you can chop up my petals with that sword of yours?" His flower form drifted closer to her, as he was genuinely curious about her technique.

That Plume of Petals and their Pheromones smacked her in the face. She sorta stumbled and stopped, Mae' shook her head some, she felt really weird. It took her a minute to notice the flowers, then she smiled like a Cheshire cat, her facade completely gone. Her blade came up and pointed directly at him, or well the cloud of feathers he was apart of. "Anything for you, cute stuff!~ I'll chop ya up into itty bitty, bitttttty, bits! Just for you!~" Maeko was totally red in the face, giggling like a school girl as she suddenly lunged, fast slashes tore through that cloud, nicking petals over and over and over!

Kaito was still a collection of petals, so he felt unconcerned when Maeko charged forward. He was concerned about the tint of her cheeks and the change in demeanor. "Are you sure you're feeling okay?" He wasn't sure how he felt about being called cute stuff. Usually his mom was the only one who stuck with the nicknames. "You think I'm cute when I'm just a bunch of flowers?" He giggled at the idea, then steadied himself. The jutsu was going to end in just a moment, and he would need to be ready with a counterattack if Maeko insisted on staying in close-quarters.

"Nononononoooo!~ You're adorable with that mop of curls, your eyes too!~ You're gonna be so handsome when ya get older." A cute little sigh slips from her lips, she slashed one last time before taking a hop back, face still blushed scarlett, holding back giggles. "Looks like I can cut them, but it isn't dooooin' much, huff! Come out now, cutieboi!~" Mae' hefted her gunbai up for once, it'd been in her offhand during her slashing. The thing was heavy as can be but she made it seem like it was just like holding a stick. If he couldn't tell she was strong physically he better not get close. In one swift motion she swung it across her front. Maeko charged her attack with her Wind Chakra, sending a huge concussion of air right at the Petals, right at him.
Dance of the Willow: Exertion [ D ] The first of Kimimaro's five dances. Allows the user to have their bones extend from their body in the form of long blades. These blades can be formed instinctively in order to parry and deflect incoming attacks. The blades can last for three post, or they can return the same post that they are used. When the bones either separate from the user or return into them, the skin which was penetrated as a result of the technique is automatically restored. Cross Wind [ D ] The user slings their fan across their body, throwing enemies away with a concussive blast of wind that expands five feet per rank of the technique. "W-uh, w-well, you don't rea-really mean that," he countered sheepishly, unsure how to respond to her advances. He was brushed back by her wind gunbai attack, his petals flying backwards into the wall where he reassembled into his human form, feeling sore from the impact despite it not being his actual body that hit the wall.
Having gained some distance from her wind attack, he formed a few hand seals and generated a whirlwind of fire that went straight for Maeko. "Maybe we should get you some medical attention... you look a little feverish."

Something was happening, parts of her clothing started to press out, like something was poking out of it, white specks growing out of her arms here and there. It seemed to have started earlier but was taking longer than usual. "O-O-Oh but I do!~ You're the cutest thing there is in this room!" Maeko's infatuation wasn't stopping, was she still under the Jutsu's spell? "You're absolutely adorable, with your freckles!" She took a step or two forward, watching him get smacked into the wall. She cackled she was having, oh so much fun, and she felt like she found a weakness through his own action. "Oooh, now you're hooooot!~" She tossed her gunbai up as hard as she could, dropped her bone blade, and brought her hands together. She weaved a few signs, and extended her arms, pointing her palms right at that huge fireball. Maeko's gunbai was coming back down now, and she sent a huge blast of air right at his own attack. Raising an arm, she caught the Fan, twirled it upside down and planted it top first into the ground. She shoved a shoulder against it and filled the fan with chakra, bracing for the attack. The side facing her would illuminate, brightly, causing temporary blindness if he caught sight. By now her bones had grown out of her like quills from a humanoid hedgehog.
Zankuuha [ Decapitating Air Waves ] [ D ] Gathering chakra in their arms, the user releases a large blast of wind directly from the palms of their hands. The gust is strong enough to break rock, but easily countered by a skilled shinobi because of its small area of effect telegraphed direction. Commander's Glory [ D ] The user blocks against an attack, using the large surface area of the fan as a shield. While doing so, the user charges the Gunbai with chakra that causes it's glossy surface to capture all light reflected upon it and intensify it. This causes temporary blindness to all who look upon the fan for three posts. If used to deflect a light based technique,the hazards of the clan are reflected back at their caster as though they were not their own technique. This battle left Kaito surprised - at how quickly she moved, at how bones were growing out of her skin, and how she could manipulate light like he could. He looked directly at it, used to looking at his own light techniques without visual detriment. This time, however, he found himself blinded and curled up against the wall as he covered his eyes. "Agh... Didn't know you were also a user of Hikariton. You're from the Nagadera clan, too?" He rubbed at his eyes but his vision didn't immediately return, frustrating him but at least he felt warmed by the thought of another Nagadera mixed blood.

A flash of light in the middle of the Dojo would paint the walls in a brief but intense white. When it cleared Belamos Karna stood in the midst of the Dojo. He found himself standing between a boy and a girl who seemed to recently have wrapped up a bout of combat. Belamos crossed his arms and shifted his gaze between the two "I apologize for interrupting, please, continue" Walking to the edge of the Dojo he sat on a mat and watched, both keeping an eye on them and pondering as to what training he himself should do later on in the day.

{ Enter } Arriving at the dojo, Takashi found a spot by himself where he could practice without getting in the way of others. He also wanted to make sure he could focus on his own training, determined to improve his weapon handling skills.
γLearning: Formless (Shuriken)γ Locating something that he could use as a target, Takashi pulled out the shuriken he had brought with him and began tossing them at the target. At first, he was quite inaccurate and struggled to connect with the target. However, as he began to get a better feel for the shape and feel of the weapon, he slowly but surely started to show improvement. After countless tosses, he found himself to be mostly on target and though he certainly had room for improvement, he was satisfied with his progress for the time being. γLearning: Formless (Shuriken)γβ
After retrieving his shurikens and placing them back in his pouch, Takashi decided it was time to bring out his hammer and get some practice with it as well.
γLearning: Formless (Hammer)γ Though Takashi had spent plenty of time swinging hammers in his family's workshop, it was a bit different to be using a hammer designed for battle as opposed to one designed for crafting. This hammer had a larger head to it and was considerably heavier. In fact, on his first attempt to swing it, he was so surprised by the weight that when he swung it back over his head, he ended up toppling backward comedically. He was determined to get the hang of it though and with each swing, found himself improving little by little. Despite a small hiccup at the start, he found the motion to be quite natural and knew that he had chosen the right weapon to begin his journey. γLearning: Formless (Hammer)γβ
After deciding on which training he should do Belamos arose and retrieved a scroll from the shelf of learning. Nearby, another boy was training with a hammer damn near as big as he was. It was an amusing sight but then again he seemed to be wielding it with an acceptable level of proficiency. He refocused on his own work and flexed his hand. Flames danced through the air, spinning and condensing to form Shoyaku, the Divine Lance. He twirled the legendary weapon once before setting down into a low stance. He began blowing through the techniques of the earlier stage with an ease formed by decades of blade work. He was superb, flawless in his movement and technique. Watching Belamos wield his spear was akin to watching a campfire- enthralling and impossible to follow. After a brief amount of time he settled down and created a light clone, intent on moving up to the more difficult techniques.

__ Now that Kenshin's ninjutsu training was complete, he walked into the dojo out of the academy. He noticed Belamos training as well and would avoid interrupting him by stopping at the other end of the building. He grabbed two taijutsu scrolls as he had his eye on learning two styles in particular. Kenshin requested five dojo masters to help him practice the styles of Gentle Art and Vital Piercing Art. Because of the Sannin's advanced skill five or more martial artists would be necessary. They were acutely nervous to partake in helping Kenshin train but they obeyed. It was not his intention to hurt them in any case.
Kenshin started by practicing the gentle art stances. He knew a version of grappling for subduing criminals. However, mastering this style would be of utmost importance in usage. All five of the dojo masters rushed in once it was time. Kenshin practiced the various basic grappling techniques on each of them.
Now it was time to advance to the next set of stages of the gentle art. All five of the expert martial artists rushed in. He pushed four of them out one by one before practicing various grapples on the last man. He successfully broke out of each one. Eventually, Kenshin was able to perform a more secure lock before releasing him for the next round.
Kenshin inhaled and then took a water break before reentering the ring. After reading extensively from the scroll once more he would finish the style by practicing more locks. He stood in wait as three of the dojo masters jumped into the ring. He performed a grapple successfully on the first man and choked him. He used his body as a shield and kicked the other two away with his legs. The fourth dojo master entered as Kenshin released the exhausted man and performed a powerful jab into his chest as prescribed by the vital piercing art. He was now a master of the gentle art which came naturally to him.
Kenshin's stamina which was much more advanced than even the greatest masters in the dojo allowed him to continue training. However, the five men were replaced by another five who were fresher. He read over the vital piercing scroll extensively. It was clear that this in combination with the gentle fist would be lethal. He started by placing the scroll down and practicing the jabs on the five men.
Kenshin took another break to drink water and read from the scroll again. He was close to mastering these vital attacks as well. After his break, he re-entered the training area as all five charged him from different angles. He motioned to attack the first man before stopping at the last minute and throwing a combination of vital piercing jabs at the second man. The first attacker phased through an after image. Kenshin was incredibly fast and precise as a master Hyuuga. With this round completed, he was done with his training for today. He activated his tenseigan momentarily to find Kojiro before promptly disabling it and leaving the dojo.

__ Kenshin felt his shoulders tense up shortly after leaving the Spire with Kojiro next to him. He mumbled about the Arashikage sending Kojiro to buy degenerate filth for him and how humiliating that was. His teeth were clenched together as well from this recent embarrassment but also out of anxiety for what was ahead of them. "We're going to the dojo to sharpen our skills before Kogarashi attacks. Karna and I will be in charge of the counteroffensive while the rest of the vanguard runs support for us." In truth, Kenshin wanted to go to the dojo to ease his nerves and blow off steam before the intense forthcoming event. When he walked into the dojo he stood on one end of a practice arena and pointed for Kojiro to stand on the other end. "Kojiro, I'm challenging you to a duel as a test of your skills. We'll head to the clinic after because I'm not holding back." He unsheathed his rapier which was placed at his hip and took a dueling stance. The blade was white and Kenshin intended to draw blood. How else was he to truly see if Kojiro was prepared to face the Kogarashi leaders? He signaled to a technician to set up the arena. With the pressing of a few buttons, the arena was greatly bolstered with technology that would allow them to fight with high-level techniques and full force without damaging the surrounding area. Kenshin saluted honorably with his rapier. "I'll give you the first move." The teacher graciously offered his student who was beginning to close the gap in power between them. Dueling was Kenshin's only and favorite hobby and it would take his mind off of the weight on his shoulders for a short time. He was looking forward to seeing Kojiro's progress.

Kojiro moved with his teacher into the dojo. It was clear that Kenshin was still quite sore over Toso's mission for the youth. He could feel the intensity in Kenshin's voice. His intention was clear, he wanted to train...or beat the frustration out of him, Kojiro wasn't sure. He gulped heavily, his nerves flairing up as he was told that Kenshin wouldn't be holding back. Kojiro crossed his arms, grabbing both wakizashi sized blades from the back mount he carried. He was already drenched in a cold sweat. His mentor now stood before him in a readied stance. The distance between the two began to feel like it was miles long, a never ending gap between the two. To not hold back against him...Kojiro hesitated. His fear of the Captian's well earned prowess was brought to light. ' It's impossible...he's become a sage...the man who personified justice...a hero of his village...a master in his own right.' He clenched his pasty white hand tightly around the hilt of both swords, the hilt's jingling as the metal sounded off like chattering teeth.
As he felt a shaking in his knees begin, a voice within rang out. ' He wouldn't go full out if he didn't think you could keep pace.' Kojiro's shaking hand steadied with this realization. His resolve's growth reflected in his eyes as they ignited in a neon vibrant green. ' I can't expect to save anyone...be anyone's hero...if I can't even stand against him!'The emerald lightning in his eyes now danced across his figure. His voice echoed in the enhanced training room. " Ready! Teacher! " Then, Kojiro would appear to those untrained as a green lightning bolt, darting forward with nearly unrivaled speed. Kojiro would skid to a halt to the right side of Kenshin. The speed of the movement would seem to blow dust off the floors, creating a clean whooshing noise. Kojiro had one blade held in his right hand as he would preform a complete spin of his body, the blade following the path while he would drop to one knee, slicing both at Kenshin's right arm and knee while sending a mighty concussive blast that would throw the officer toward the wall across the room. To boot, this technique was surging with the power of his Hatake lineage, the emerald lightning dancing from the blades as they moved about. Only having attacked with the blade in his right hand, the left handed blade remained at the ready poised at the ready with it's blade crossing his body to prevent an unguarded attack. Kojiro's mind had emptied of it's insecurities, it's doubts, Kojiro's face while focused clearly shined with a grin of enjoyment. He had never been permitted to use the strength he had honed.
