ℱinley ℑrvingFinley was lost in the conversation. Again, he was stuck in a place of not understanding the whole thing but from what he gathered it was a conversation that started with 'Kitty needs to go' and ended with 'Kitty can stay but in Justus as a person'. Alright. That was more than fine with Finley. Not that his opinion mattered in this conversation, but he would hate it if they worked out a terrible solution that he couldn't argue against because he missed a good part of the argument.
He turned his head as Elvira addressed him. "Sure. Why not?" he shrugged. "Whatever makes you comfortable, Elv."

They arrived through a loophole.
Technically, Leah was still a student, and students could permit others onto the grounds. With that in mind, Unit 53 dropped in and landed atop the remains of the Oak. If they caught the attention of students and staff, they didn't seem to care. Gisa in particular wore a mask of calm, but the entire unit carried with them the air of tension.
"Acwel," Gisa said shortly, and Acwel nodded, understanding immediately. Gisa turned outward and began to speak, her voice amplified so it could be clearly heard across the campus with Acwel's windwielding.
"Attention students, staff, and anyone else that may possibly be on campus," she began, "you will gather near the remains of your Oak within the next five minutes. Students on the left, adults on the right. Failure to do so will result in my colleague razing every building in the vicinity to the ground. Say hello, Leah."

"Hello, Leah~!" Leah crooned, hanging off of Gisa's shoulder.

The Israeli shoved the Infiltrator off her shoulder in annoyance. Be professional, dammit, she mouthed, and watched as students and staff streamed out of the buildings and towards the Oak.
About five minutes later, to Gisa's approval, the students and staff had gathered as she'd asked. Gisa noted with some annoyance that the CEE had not arrived. Did they really think themselves so above it all? Or, perhaps, they thought they were safer inside. Idiots. Leah had noticed as well, but Gisa held a hand up for her to stand down. She wasn't going to raze the whole damn castle just to smoke out a few rats. Not when she could do that in other ways.
First things first. She signaled Thyme, who drew two quartz crystals from their pouch and muttered something under their breath. Two spheres of influence blossomed into existence, one surrounding the professors, one surrounding the students. The rules for each were simple: no one in this sphere at the time of its creation can leave.
Finally, Gisa swiped a hand upwards. The Headmaster, among the professors, shouting as he was yanked into the air by a Telekinesis and crashed into the branches next to her. "That should keep you out of trouble, hm?" she said. The Headmaster fixed her with an irritated glare but said nothing.
The whole of Unit 53 (barring Tyme, who stayed atop the Oak) dropped down and landed on the ground. "We'll make this very simple for you," Gisa said, motioning at Acwel to keep up the magical amplification. "Sign the bill, show us proof, and we'll start distributing the antidote here and now. Otherwise, someone will die every five minutes."

In one smooth motion, Michael drew his gun, aimed at the professors, and fired. Professor Bobbitt dropped like a stone, a clean hole blown through the center of his forehead.

Gisa's expression did not change. "Starting now."
(Event start! Here's a clarifications of positions:
Students are confined to a sphere of influence diagonally left of the Oak. Staff (including professors, the librarian, the nurse, Rhea, etc) are confined to a sphere of influence diagonally right of the Oak. The CEE is currently unaccounted for but their location will be revealed shortly. Unit 53 is on the ground between the students and staff, save for Tyme who is still atop the Oak maintaining the spheres. The Headmaster is up on top of the Oak with Tyme. If there's further confusion, I'll draw up a diagram and put it in the #art channel.
We've reached the end. Give 'em hell.)

OOC: "Do they think this will work?" he asked. "It would be a ******** surprise if the council cared about the lives of anyone here." There was a shake in his voice but it didn't stop him. If this was legitimately going to be his last moments, he might as well spend it talking s**t about the council.

So they'd finally appeared. As she joined the circle of students, the rigidity of Asha's spine was stiffer than a rock, so much so that she would have made a ruler look shameful. She said nothing, but clenched her teeth so tightly together that it hurt. Before this, she'd never seen a gun fire, and she'd certainly never seen a man killed. Dimly, she thought back to the game she'd played in detention months ago - "Never Have I Ever." Here was one more thing she had done, that she would have to put a finger down for.
One person dead per five minutes. She thanked her lucky stars that Caide had taken Kitty away from this place.

Well, terrorists coming to them was a new one. Shanta stayed as low to the ground as possible, but she could feel Shashi twitching impatiently under her. She hadn't survived second year just to get murdered by a bunch of psychopaths in her fourth. Clearly some stupid decisions needed to be made, and Shanta was the queen of stupid decisions.
She glanced at End and Muna nearby. Shanta said nothing, but the look in her eyes was clear: We need to do something.

Yvonne shook and wrapped her arms around herself. Her fever was burning high, but all she felt was lightheaded and shivery, fingers pressed tightly into her own sides. She missed her bed. Sleeping felt a lot better than this.
She couldn't use magic, she couldn't heal, and she could barely keep her focus straight long enough to count all of the Tomas kids. From what Gisa said they were likely already nearby. Good. No, bad. That was really, really, really bad.
The waves of nausea came and went, and she really did try to listen to Gil, but when Bobbit dropped, it was all she could do to dash a few feet away before vomiting.
OOC: (this is just one of those feel good events that leaves a warm fuzzy feeling in ur heart)

xxxx ❥xViolet really wanted to die. Fever, chills, clamminess, and dizziness were one thing in a dark room, but out here in the open in an extremely bad situation was a completely different story. She wasn't really sure what else she could throw up, but upon hearing the gunshot her stomach heaved again. Violet couldn't run for s**t right at that moment, so instead she simply clung to the nearest sleeve and spat stomach acid flecked with crimson onto the grass. "S-sorry," she whispered, in case she'd accidentally thrown up on someone.

Rowan was a lot closer than Potato knew.
"If you're looking for the young master," Whit said as he followed Potato through the crowd, "you simply need to lie down."
"Do not!" Rowan yelped, clinging onto Potato's back. (You get called out by terrorists. You grab onto someone in panic. s**t happens.) "Do not do not do not! You'll smother me!"
In the part of his mind that was neither freaking out or trying to stay cool, Rowan wondered where the ******** his dad was. He wasn't really going to just let everyone here die, right?
...Right?

Amanda vaguely wondered if they'd be yelled at if they volunteered to get killed. Probably. She was too tired to try to find out.
Oh, hey, there was Asha. Amanda lifted a hand in a lazy wave to signal to their friend that they were over in this general direction and still kicking. The gunshot didn't really seem to faze her in the slightest; it wasn't like she knew the professor all that well anyway, sooooooooooo...
