Hadiyya had arrived before her dates, having made a promise to the band that she'd do what she could to make sure they had an excellent audience, with lots of participation. Participation would come in the form of dancing, and if she had to, she would just start nabbing individuals from the surrounding crowd and pull them along for a waltz. She didn't have a definitive plan yet, but she would certainly figure something out. Regardless, she would be having fun doing it.
Timing wise things seemed to be working out rather well. As the djinn entered the tent Terra was finishing up her song, which meant the reaper ghoul was free to drag out onto the dance floor while the boils played.
Crossing the room, Yaya made a bee-line for the blonde, and when she reached the other ghoul she looped either tanned arm around her. A careful eye would notice a touch of color to her usual henna. The demon had decided to play the role of a tattooed lady, and her attire was chosen to show off quite a bit of delectable skin, as well as the lovely swirl of designs that were painted over it.
Pressing cheek to cheek, she murmured against the other ghoul's hair as she shifted her grip to take hold of Terra's hands. "You owe me a dance, darling."

Maybe Malodore did not think it was really on fire, but Riley felt absolutely blazing. The crystals of her wings were tinted red with tainted power, and the illusion of fire crackled and flickered off of every crystal, so that a giant blaze followed her wherever she went. The reaction from her undead beloved was priceless alone, as it tested out the validity of her flames earlier. It had been priceless, and sweet, to watch.
But now they arrived, and Riley was in flames, beside her phoenix and her fellow trapeze artist. Sufficed to say, it was a very bright entrance.
This was the second prom that she could remember. Suddenly, the fact that she'd already been back at Amity since her death for a year, settled in heavily. It didn't feel that long. The change in scenery did her well to feel less of the dreaded reminders of that particular day.. the day she'd returned.
This was a new day.
Never before had the symbolism of being dressed as a phoenix made more sense to her than at that moment. She reached out, making sure each hand was clenched in the claw and hand of her beloved and her best friend. There, surrounded by their love and comfort, she knew peace.
Terra jumped slightly, then brilliantly smiled. "Yaya!" she said happily, hugging the other ghoul. "Yes, I would love to! But I must tell my date first!" she said, heading for the ghoul sitting on the stage.
"Angeline, do you mind if I dance with Yaya for a bit?" she asked eagerly. "I am sure that the boils of the band will enjoy having you sit there for a bit longer. And I will not be long!"

Spinar had that oh so spine shuddering feeling of being watched and as soon as he turned towards the stage he realized exactly why that was. The glitter dog was eyeballing him, and then he, then he started the war. Pale blue eyes grinned up to the dog, equally as dangerously as the strumming claws. Whatever he was planning Spinar hoped for the boil's sake it was at least entertaining.
Dance dog, dance.
At the announcement the frost demon's lips tugged at the corners and pulled into a dark and devious grin, twirling the obviously non-matching hat on a claw he chuckled. Really..Being called out was nothing new and actually he had to admit it was a little funny, though the lack of interested dances was pride wounding, he took it in stride. Pushing the hat atop his head he pulled up his phone, pointed it at the band then snapped a picture of Mikey. After saving the new image he sent the dog an amused creep.
Freya heard that call, from Mikey, and her phone was out in minutes. As she waited for him to respond, she took Kettil's hand in hers and helped close the gap.
The ghoul was on a mission.

Had her assumption been right? Still though, even with hearing at least some of the lyrics, amplifiers still sometimes made it a little difficult to hear, she shook her head. "W-was I s-supposed.. t-to?" She asked as another song began to play.
With his next question, she pursed her lips together for a moment. The acronym could have been for anything really, "a-at f-first I th-though it m-might b-be their n-names, b-but m-maybe not." She wasn't sure, and she was terribly at guessing things. Maple let her gaze slide down to her dress, wanting to brush at it in a sort calming affect but both hands still seemed occupied - her tart was still untouched.
A few more songs played, and a few more creeple had filtered in while just the same began to filter out towards the games. The little witch turned back to AJ with a sort of unsure smile on her face, "sh-shall w-we g-go t-try the g-games?" Even though she'd be horrible at them.

Jericho stepped into the area, taking a good look around at the way the place was decorated. This technically wasn't his first prom, but it certainly was the first time in his 'own' memory to be at such an occasion. It was strange, yet exciting in it's own way.
Alongside Malodore and Riley, he looked them over for the moment. They were quite a flaming group. Though, it was more literal with Riley in terms of how she looked. She was the girl who was on fire.
"So this is it... Prom. What do we do exactly? Just uh.. mingle and eat?"

"Oh! Looks like you're up then. It was nice talking!" she waved Nahm off as he went to reclaim his spot at the mic.
Then Terra asked about a dance with another friend, and Angeline couldn't help but smile towards Terra's voice. "Go ahead! I'll be here waiting." she answered, waving the other ghoul off.

Poke received a reassuring smile. "You'll do great! If you get nervous just pretend you're all by yourself...or that the entire carnival is naked. But that doesn't work for me, personally." The ghoul cleared her throat and scratched the back of her neck with her free hand. Err, yeah. That.
...Stitchtits. Seriously? The ghoul's expression moved quickly from surprise to aggrivated, but it was quickly smoothed over to something at least tolerable. She was trying very hard to be friendly, and she wanted to keep it that way.
"That isn't my name, and I would prefer if you chose a more decent name." Poke made her presence known again, and the Patchwork giggled. "Is that what you're doing, Lou? Looking for a date? I'm sorry to say I already have one, so you're fishing in the wrong barrel." Or something. How did that saying go again? Oh well. Still, to humor him, she reached out to pluck a card from the deck with her free hand, eyeing it but keeping it out of his line of vision.
She was smarter than that, Lou. Her sleeve remained covering her torso.

"I will be right back!" Terra promised, heading back to Yaya. "One dance, then I am taking Angeline to play games," she said with a smile. But--how DID you dance to this song? It clearly wasn't a waltz, she thought as she headed for the dance floor.
"Perhaps something like this?" Terra offered, starting to move.
Well, okay it actually took a fair bit to maneuver through the room with such an opulent dress , but he was ecstatic to enjoy prom again. Sure it wasn't as big of an entrance as it had been last year with Remi, but Jack had promised a young miss a partner for the evening - or until they dispersed to entertain others.
Catching sight of her, he trudged (gracefully) towards her, his dress sparklingin the dance-hall's lights, tail flicking behind him. Sure, he was a chaperon also, but he could have a little fun.
"That fits you rather well, I'm glad we decided to go with something . . . fitting and contradicting at the same time." He teased her playfully, his eyes smiling as he looked down to Imryn, giving her a warm welcome as he offered a hand. "I hope you're not terribly overwhelmed, nor that I was too late. Got a little caught up in the fabric - you'd be surprised how heavy that this can get." He hoped.

Lucky for the furnace dog, he was given a little slip explaining who he had been given as a partner to escort to the prom. It was a nice idea, offering up blind dates for those who were still fresh in the school, such as Xavier and himself. He was very certain that the demon would feel better if he had a good prom, then writing his name down for him would have been without vain.
Clearing his throat a little, he wandered close to a smaller woman - a reaper he was told, hoping he had it right.
"Millie? Are you her?" He offered, tail swishing slowly behind him, standing in a head to toe altered tuxedo, vent in his chest slowly glowing in the dimmed lights. "I'm Eldrid, your date, I believe."
Totes smooth.

Calder had arrived at Barth's room that morning, crashed on his couch fully dressed, and just waited for the man to dress himself. He watched as he painfully put on each piece, and near the end finally played with dressing him, and at one point taking a shirt off just to hinder him. Eventually bored, he lead the demon to prom where all of the action would be tonight.
Glancing behind him, he tapped his side. "Come on, Rosebud. I'll have to bring a leash next time if you linger so far behind." He called back.

Hadiyya waited patiently, for Terra to ask her date for a moment of time, then grinned as the other ghoul returned and offered a brilliant suggestion for appropriate dance moves. "Yes, I think that'll do nicely."
And without further ado, the djinn joined in, mimicking Terra at first, before adding her own little flare after.
It was a little more challenging in high heels, but Yaya rocked that s**t anyways.

"Y'ALL ARE BREAKING MY HEART OVER HERE," Mikey howled sadly, making a 'breaking heart' gesture with his hands.
Then he was grinning again, as Freya made her way to the stage. He leaned over the edge, eager to hear what she was planning.
Ying was more nervous than Kiwi could ever hope to be. Was her dress okay? Did Kiwi's fit alright? Would people think it strange to see a famine pony in such Conquestian clothing? So many questions to ask and none of them answered! It was all too terrifying. Perhaps they should just go home.
She took a deep breath, preparing to broach the room, but instead was pulled back by Kiwi, who had something to say. "Yes friend, what is it?" she asked curiously, before he pulled out a lovely little corsage, fashioned from all natural resources. She gasped as he put it on her wrist, resisting the urge to bounce up and down with joy. "Oh friend, it is most lovely! I could not hope for a lovelier corsage!!" Surely Jing would be jealous- he'd been pouring his efforts into corsages as the prom approached. This one though, the gift from Kiwi, was much better.
"I think we should dance. That is what you do at one of these dances after all, yes?" Ying's eyes were sparkling but it was quite apparent she had no idea what that entailed. "Perhaps we could find some of our friends as well? I would like to show them how handsome you are in Conquest clothes!"
