(Sorry for not responding over the weekend, was extremely busy because I actually had to work over the weekend gonk ) Uki blinked for a minute, confused on how Ren didn't know anything about his powers. He then visualized a fire pillar and created it just from his visualization. He was behind them and not overly large, but big enough that Ren could see it. "Well, how I do it, and I'm not sure you can necessarily do it this way as I'm not an earth user, is I visualize what I want and allow my chakra to generate it where I want it. Sometimes, I have to make hand movements to generate position or enough energy to generate the magic." He then looked up for a moment before looking at Ren once more. "Now, I'm only assuming, that you can do the same, if not, we will need to find someone that could assist you further."

((all good)) Ren looked at him and was amazed at how the fire pillar shot straight up. He actually stepped back a bit out of fear and then looked at him as he explained what he did. " Alright i'll give it a go." He said as he took a few steps back and closed his eyes he began focusing his breathing slowed as he focused his energy begun to flow more in his body and he could feel it swelling as he focused on it casueing the ground in front of him to form a pillar as the energy reached its max focus point he released it. From it ... Nothing happen but Ren getting a head ache. He brought his arms down as he looked at the ground and scratched his head. " Well nothing happen. Not surprising." he said as he crouched and poked the ground. Why was it always him who had to fail at everything." Guess i should say i'm not surprised." He said as he really wasn't and it showed he had no confidence in his powers due to him never having been able to use them.

Uki would jump backward and up about 5 feet. He would stand on the pillar that Ren had made. It wasn't the biggest pillar ever, but nevertheless, Ren had created it. Uki would give a fake cough and grin. "So, this pillar I'm standing on was here just a second ago?" He then looked down at Ren. "You have the potential... just start believing in yourself and you should be able to do more things with it over time. You just have to take it step by step." Uki then looked around, "Look, I'm not an earth user, so I can only help you with the most basic of things. Stuff that is elemental specific, we are gonna have to find an earth user to train you in."

What Uki basically was saying to him was he had very little talent and if he didn't work hard he wouldn't make much of that talent. Or at least that is how Ren took it he sighed and sat down he was so tired and he didn't know why. " Man why am i so tired all of a sudden. My body feels really heavy." The reason in which Ren didn't think of was that it took every ounce of energy in his body to make that pilliar. He had barely any to stand. " Is there anyone here who can even train someone like me? " He said as he knew he wasn't going to be easy to train. No the opposite he was going to be really hard to train Ren had no talent in fighting so any attempt to awaken his powers with fighting would only get him killed. And due to his lack of knowlege on his power he would surely not be able to do it alone. He sighed as he felt light headed. A bit of blood trickled out of his nose and he looked a bit confused.

Uki jumped down off the pillar and over to Ren. "Your body just isn't use to using your elemental energy." Uki then started to examine over Ren. It looked like he had never done much physical training, so that could also explain his body's inability to handle the elements. "Let me tell you something. When I was a kid, I knew I had my powers, but it took me forever to start using them. My first attempt, I blacked out and couldn't even make a fireball. As an earth user, I'm going to assume that you need a lot of physical strength to use the weight of the land in your magic. You just need to rest and take small steps in learning what your powers can do." Uki then held his hand on Ren's head and began to channel some healing magic into Ren. This would restore some of his strength and stop his nose bleed. "I'll tell you want, we can train together... physical training at least. You need to build up your stamina and strength to be better able to control your powers. I'll help you train as much as I can, alright?"

Ren looked at him as he shook his head. " Alright. I worked with my parents on the farm so i'm suprised that i don't have enough stamina. " He said as he was actually one of the most stamina fit people in his whole town. He spent a lot of time running away so he learned how to run. Now that his body had some strength to it again. He got up He stumbled a bit but regained his balance fast and looked to Uki. Ren decided to take off his cloak which had been covering his upper body a bit and when he did it showed he had muscle but it was pretty compact. It was probably just from using farming equipment. Ren looked rather unsure of himself and he wasn't sure what he could really do.

Uki looked over Ren and then back to the pillar. "There are two different types of stamina, at least in the realm of elemental powers. The type of stamina you are missing relates to your chakra. You are use to having all your chakra available when doing physical activities. What you need to do is minimize your usage of chakra to support your physical stamina. When people don't have or don't use their powers, their chakra network mainly affects the body as a crutch. It gives them added 'stamina' when in reality they don't have mastered stamina." He then grinned. "My healing magic restore physical stamina, not chakra. So, now would be the best time to add to that stamina. Why not try running or lifting something with some decent weight."Uki grabbed a large tree branch that weighed about 40 pounds. He carried it with one hand and set it down in front of Ren. "Lift this... try lifting it over your head ten times or so. Bet you will feel tired after that."

Ren nodded his head he was a quick study and understood what he was trying to explain. He was then given a branch to lift. He did his best to get a grip on it and when he did he begun lifting. It was easy for the first five lifts but after that his arms started to get sore and finally after he hit ten he could feel the strain on his body. It wasn't anything he wasn't use to but it was definitely more noticeable. " My arms got pretty heavy but other then that i managed i think. " He said as he looked at Uki. He hoped he was doing things right he didn't want to be doing all this stuff wrong.

Uki nodded as he watched and paid close attention to Ren's lifts. He noticed the physical struggle around lifts nine and ten. "Well, let me ask, could you do ten more right now? I don't think you could because your chakra isn't there to crutch you and you did struggle with the last two lifts. I will say though, for the low amount of chakra that you have right now, that wasn't bad at all. What you need to start doing..." Uki paused for a moment to think of a training regimen. Once he figured one out, he continued, "At least once a day, try to recreate that pillar, then do lifts like we just had you do. You will notice that after each round, it will get easier to lift the branch to the point that you can do thousands of lifts without getting tired. Also, wait at least a few hours before trying to repeat this training regimen, as if you don't, you might use up all your chakra and pass out when making the pillar. As you feel more comfortable, increase the number of times each day you do it to the point that you don't feel anything when using your powers." Uki then used his healing magic again to give Ren just a bit of chakra and physical energy. Ren probably should feel the difference in himself and feel that he more stamina.

Ren understood as he agreed there was no way he could do any more then maybe ten of them." I see this is going to take a while but maybe in a bit i could actually get into my school." He said embarrsingly. He couldn't enter the school due to no powers as he looked down. This school wasn't made for those who weren't talented. If you didn't have any latent ability you weren't going to have an easy time. Ren was ready to work hard though he wanted to stay he wanted to finally have a home. Ren felt a wave of relief in his body as Uki healed him again. " Thanks. You are very kind. The first male to ever be kind to me. Most guys just punch me in the face and shout at me calling me a monster." He said as he remembered some of the childhood he had.

Uki would brush himself off quickly and nod. "Well, the reason you are here is to hone in on your powers and master them. It is the same for everyone else. Even the Gods probably have a few things to master still in their elements, though they know more than everyone else here." Uki then looked at Ren and shook his head. "Could always talk to the Gods and see if they can help you with your living arrangement."

Ren sighed when Uki mentioned to him about talking to his god. " From what the ice goddess said there isn't an Earth god." He then looked back at the stick and then at Uki. " Um Could you teach me to fight? I lack a lot but i want to change. I don't want to be a coward like i am. " He said it sounded strange to him but he didn't want to be weak anymore and he figured if he learned to fight he might be able to do more with other people. " I know i'm not ready energy wise but i didn't plan on using energy. I've never fought back a day in my life so if i can learn to at least fight with out my element maybe some day i can use it in combat? " He asked as he looked at the fire user.

Uki would smile as Ren asked him to teach him to fight. "Well, I'll see what we can do about your fighting training. As for your living conditions, I'll try to talk to my brother and see if he can't help you out with living arrangement." He then looked back toward the Arena. "We will need to find a different location to train then the Arena. I don't want to put you in harm's way. Some students might try to pick a fight with you because they see you as weak. I want you to get your training done and get stronger before we start using their equipment."

" How about in the forest? I found clearing by a small lake when i was traveling through it earlier." He asked him and looked towards the forest he remembered where the lake was and figured it would take him a few minutes to get there but they wouldn't be bothered if they went there. " It would secluded pretty good wouldn't have to worry about others bothering us so much." He said as he felt a bit more hopeful he was starting to get use to being talked to with out hostility. " And thank you for all the help. I don't know if i've said it yet but i do appreciate it." He said as he looked at Uki with much respect. He didn't seemed to fear him so much any more.

Dalia DufontDalia felt sweat forming on her palms. It wasn't from heat or exertion. She looked up from the cobbled pathway she walked to the gates of the elemental academy. The buildings behind the gateway were amazing to behold, filling up the whole mountain side. It was so huge! All this was a school? It looked more like a city. Well she was here to learn. Learn how to control her abilities so she could use them without the fear of hurting others. But first... she had to learn where to go. She entered the first building, it seemed an entrance of sorts. She looked around head craning for any sign of someone who could help her.
