Della glanced at Damien's hand behind her and then back at his face. He was watching the kids at play and when one of them had fallen, she noticed a slit second of worry emerge. She wondered how someone so caring could be a demon. She noticed him watching her and turned her face away, hiding a blush. "Damien....you never did tell me..how you became a demon." she said quietly, hoping he wouldn't get upset.

Damien saw that she noticed him looking at her, and he hid a grin of his own when he realized she was blushing. He liked how he made her so nervous, but he didn't say so. He casually scooted a bit closer to her, but grimaced when she mentioned that he had never told her how he became what he was. "It's kind of a disturbing story," He said uncomfortably, glancing up at the sky, hoping she wouldn't push him, because it would scare her if he did tell. He took a deep breath, averting his eyes from her stare.

Della thought about the last time she'd asked that question. Damien had basically just changed the subject. Now it was a disturbing story. Della didn't care how disturbing it was, she wanted to know. Or at least she thought she did. "Explain to me why it's so disturbing?"

Damien sighed when she pushed him. He should have known. "Because I murdered someone." He said it quietly, not wanting kids to hear him and run screaming. He didn't dare glance at her, and he moved back a little, so he wasn't touching her anymore. He didn't want to explain it all, and hoped that would make her back off a bit.

Della didn't want to to push him anymore, but honestly this confession didn't really suprise her. She hadn't thought he was some murderous person, but she'd at least thought that he might've in his lifetime. "Damien...." She really didn't want him to be upset with her; he'd probably leave her there. But she had to know. "Please...just tell me. Nothing you say will make me feel any different about you."

Damien closed his eyes when she didn't stop, wanting to hear the rest of the story. "When I was a little boy.." He paused, surprised at how emotional he was already becoming. Tears were threatening to flow over his eyes. He pushed them away, hating being human at that moment. "When I was still a permanent human, I detested my father. He was never there for my Mom and I, and didn't really care if he was or not. One day, he came to the door and knocked. My Mom was out on errands and had left me alone. I didn't know who it was at first, and went to the closet to get the only rifle we had. My Mom said I needed to use it in case of emergencies, which I thought this was one of those times. So I had it in my hands when I opened the door." He blinked, trying to stay motionless and continued on with what he was saying, the words flowing out of him quickly. "And when I saw who it was, I instantly fired. I...I couldn't stand him. So I killed him. My own father. He was lying on the porch dead, when my Mom came back. She screamed and screamed and screamed.." He wanted to get up and leave her there, but forced himself to stay put. He turned away from her and put his head in his hands, anger filling him more than sadness. He wasn't sorry he had killed his Father. He had never regretted it.

Della sighed, not knowing what to say. She was wondering how she was so calm and Damien was so distraught. She knew he moved away, but she scooted next to him and hugged him. "It wasn't your fault. You were a child and I'm sure at that time it seemed like the right choice.." She did not condone the killing of anyone; her angel tendencies were still with her. She hugged him tighter and layed on his back. "It wasn't your fault..."

Damien could feel her arms move around him and glanced up. He took a deep breath. "It's not like that, Dell. I knew what I was doing," He said quietly, in a matter of fact way. "I was almost ten when I shot him. Most ten year olds know what they are doing before they get into trouble." He once more ran a hand through his dark hair, embarrassed that she could make him give in so fast. He smiled when she laid on his back, and he turned around slowly, grabbing a hold of her, pulling her closer to him, almost cradling her in his arms like a baby. He looked down at her. "The Devil sent one of his Fallen Angels to get me and bring me down to Hell. He talked about how he was proud of me..for killing my Father. And then he turned me into a Demon. He always thought of me as his son. But that's all over now." He sighed, and pressed his nose against hers, closing his eyes as he held her tightly as he held her close to his chest. "Anything else you want to know about me?" He raised an eyebrow, smiling at her.

Della listened as Damien spoke. She still didn't feel as bad as she should, and that was scaring her more than the story. She felt that she'd had more questions, but Damien was distracting her; just by looking at her. "Um...I...I don't know. But if I do, you'll be the first to know." she replied, blushing.

Damien saw her face flame and he kissed her nose gently, not hiding his grin as he chuckled. "That's fine by me. Whatever you want to do, we'll do," He whispered in her ear, these words having a double meaning. He let go of her once more, partly because a mother with a baby stroller walking by had the disgusted look in her eyes that meant, get a room, and partly because this was a public place. If he could have, he would have done so much more to her right then, but he strained himself unhappily. He gave her one more quick kiss on the lips, teasing her before leaning back, putting his arm behind her again. He yawned, and sighed as he glanced up at the sky, watching the clouds.

Della's face turned scarlet as she insinuated what he meant. She saw the lady who had that look on her face and she smiled as they passed. After she was a good ways away and Della's blush had subsided slightly, she glanced at Damien but looked away. He was very attractive; no not attractive, hot. She felt the blush rising back to her cheeks as she thought of him. She couldn't help that she was shy, but she wanted to be in control of her feelings at least once. She boldly turned his face to her and kissed him fiercely, then abruptly pulled away. She was only a few inches away from his face. "I think I'll leave that decision up to you.."

Damien grinned at her reaction to his words, seeing her face out of the corner of his eye. He was taken aback when she leaned forward and turned his face to hers, and pressed her lips against his passionately. He barely heard her words, because he was in a daze. He wanted more instantly. He took a deep breath and glanced at her, a cocky smile on his face. "So that's your game, is it Dell?" He winked at her, and leaned over, pressing her against the back of the bench as he held on to the strong metal on either side of her. He stared down at her, thinking a moment with strong lust in his eyes. He brought her face up to his and smashed his lips against hers, almost hungrily. He didn't stop for a good minute, and when he pulled back, he was panting hard, out of breath. "You're lucky we're in a park, Della," He threatened, almost growling at her. He felt he needed her right then, but the only thing stopping him was their location.

Della felt as if she was on fire; she was tingling all over. She was upset when he pulled away, and she suddenly remembered they were in a public place. Part of her wished they'd never even come and she grinned. "Yes that's my game.." she said smoothing out her shirt. She stood and turned to look at Damien; fiery passion was showing in her eyes. "So...let's get out of the park."

Damien didn't lose his smile when she seemed disappointed he had pulled away from her. He yawned, deciding to lead her on. He could see she wanted him just as he did her, but he wanted to tease her way worse than she had just did. "No way, we should enjoy nature first. We came here for that, remember?" He flashed another white grin at her, mischief in his own burning green eyes. He didn't move from his spot as he continued to watch her, feigning exhaustion and acting as if he wanted to relax with her. That was the last thing he wanted to do with her, but he couldn't let it show. He stared at her, forcing his gaze not to wonder down lower than her face. He closed his eyes and leaned back against the bench, sighing.

Della grinned devilishly. So he wants to be like that? Okay then... She stretched and stood there looking at Damien. "Yes...we did come here for the nature didn't we?" She forced back the intense desire she felt him and put on a false, friend-like smile. Nothing but that showed on her face as she looked at him. "I meant to comment, this lake is very pretty. Don't you think?" She had crossed her legs and folded her hands in her lap. She was sitting next to him, but not close enough to touch him. She wanted him to feel as she did.
