also, for people feeling creative, we need a bunch of planets made in the Outer Reaches area of the guild, as well as new alien species. remember, the sooner you make them and get them approved, the sooner we can all play as something other then humans or robots.

Added a Codex entry for The Unity, the ruling government body of Earth, as well as edited the Earth thread in Wild Space to reflect this change.
Also, edited The Unity to allow for Unity Infiltrators to be playable.

I have a few ideas.... I just need to think of the weaknesses for those aliens.
*stands at a mad scientist table covered with blood and guts* I shall create...LIFE! I SHALL BECOME GOD! MWAHAHAHA!!! *makes a creature that looks like a mound of ground meat with tentacles* Oh dear Me! What the hell have I done?! D=

as long as you put those weaknesses in your character profile, and it is deemed useable, it will be approved. nobody has to wait for a race to be approved to play as an alien species now.

So, I'm going home this weekend because a) it's a three day weekend, b)I have to work once a month to keep my summer job, and c) since my birthday's in a week, my parents and I are going to celebrate it this weekend. So, long story short, I probably won't be on much from Friday evening until Monday night, or possibly Tuesday or Wednesday afternoon.

Hi! I'm Zane, I'm pretty much new here, and I am thinking about what type of character to include in the RP.
I'm going to say this now; I love creating a character that expands the plots and creates new ones for everybody to enjoy. Therefore, I am opening myself up for ideas.
Please don't be shy! We can range from cyborg, to clone, to test-tube baby, to even a viral program which infects other AI with it's intelligence and consciousness.

Tempted to have an 'organic AI'. May have to fine-tune the details, so it could remain just an idea...
...what type of alien though? Humanoid? Mechanical (based on Geth from Mass Effect)? Parasite that has taken a humanoid host?
Hostile? Last-of-it's-kind? Explorer to a new sector? Accidental transportation there from an entirely new sector?

we have enough robots already for now. a humanoid alien would be best. a parasite...if you could pull it off, it might be interesting.

Also, hey there Zane! Good luck creating your alien. Maybe make a boot shaped alien that always tries to attack people's heads. =D

I swear you all get weirder when I'm gone.... lol
anyhow, we've had a few new people joining up, lets make sure they know their way around the guild, and help them with any questions they might have as to creating a character.
