Adrian looks around and sees a flock of crows. "Asta...hide" She looks to where his gaze was and saw them. She nods and hides in the nearest building. Adrian looks to the skies smiling. "This will not be like last time" Adrian summons the chains of light and they wrap around him. Darklight appears within his hands. "Bring it on" A corridor opens and a dusk grabs hold of Asta. "Adrian!!!" Adrian turns to see Asta being dragged into the dark corridor. "NO!!! STOP!!!" The corridor closes and Adrian is left alone. "I'll find you Asta. After I defeat this man."

Crow sat at the top of the building waiting for Adrian to come. He knew he would for he sensed him, and he could sense his hunger, his hunger to defeat Crow himself.

Adrian sensed the man in the third district. " Asta, wait for me" He charges into the third district and looks around for the man. Darkness starts to curl around Adrian and he starts to breathe heavily. " Damn it. I knew this would happen" He summons the chains of light to help prevent his transformation. The crows flew around more frequently here. " Where are you?!?"

Crow saw the boy at the bottom of the district and decided to wait for him to see him. The were five flocks of crows standing around him and about a flock or two flying around him.

Adrian senses a presence above him. He looks up and sees more corws flying around the building. " I've found you" He jumps onto the side of the building and starts to run up it, with Darklight in his hands. " Come on then. Bring it!!!" He launches himself at the mass of crows and sees the man Kisama had warned him about. " Nice to meet you again. But I can't let you mess with this world."

Mortimer appeared beside Adrian and laughed. "Hello again. Now I'm going to enjoy this." Mortimer spread darkness around Adrian and dragged him into the sky. It formed a giant orb in the sky and Mortimer entered it.

A black coat appears and grabs the man. He stares into his eye. "The invasion is over" He then grabs the man and teleports to the world that never was.

Mortimer appeared inside the dark orb. He stared at Adrian with his feeble chains of light. "It is time for me to release your darkness. It has been calling to me through the worlds and I feel it is time."

Adrian smiles. " There is no way I would allow that. No way in he-" He clutches at his heart and from it darkness spreads throughout his body turning it black. Adrian glares once more at Mortimer till his eyes had turned yellow. " Asta" The beast roars in defiance as it launches it self at Mortimer absorbing the darkness around it. In its hands a swirling ball of darkness.

Mortimer appeared directly in front of Adrian and grabs him by the throat. "Hmm. Seems like you are holding back some. Let me help with that." Mortimer placed his hand on Adrian's chest and it sank in. He reached for the boy's heart and grabbed a hold of the chains surrounding it and shattered them. "Now your beast can't be held back." Mortimer pulled out his hand and threw Adrian across the darkness.

The beast's eyes glow brighter. A force throws Mortimer back. A cold voice emits from the beast. "Why find you do interfere with my fight Mortimer? I can fight Adrian's light myself." Claws form on the beast's hands. "Now I'll show you why you should never mess with me, Taint." In an instant, Taint warps behind Mortimer. "Now you shall feel your darkness become tainted like Adrian's"

Mortimer smiled. "Taint my darkness?" Mortimer transformed into his new form. His body blazing with darkness and his eyes a fiery yellow. "I'm afraid I am darkness." Mortimer turned to face Taint. "Now. You have been set free. don't make me put you back."

"I will go back after I teach you the true power of taint" The orb of darkness starts to shrink as it is absorbed into Taint's body. "I'm sorry to say but you need to leave." He warps behind Mortimer and stabs through his chest. Taint's darkness flows into Mortimer's darkness. "Now my taint is inside you. When the time comes you shall feel the effects of it. But there is a price to pay for your 'gift'" As his hand was in Mortimer's body, it begins to drain the darkness from it. "All things come with a price Mortimer. Did master not tell you that?"

Mortimer laughed. "My only price is eternity of Master's will. As long as i server him I gain eternal power." Mortimer's head turned clean around. "By the way. I'm not the real Mortimer. If I was you would be under my control." He laughed evilly as he faded into nothing leaving Taint by himself.

Taint sighs. "Now that was a waste of power. Adrian you can now return to your body. I sense Asta is near. Along with two friends too" A portal opens and Asta steps out. Taint smiles. "I guess I''ll see you, Adrian. I will take your light soon enough." Adrian's conscious returns and his body returns to normal. His body drops towards the ground. Asta sees something fall from the sky. "Adrian..." She runs to catch him using aero to slow his descent. He hits the ground and Asta runs to him. "ADRIAN!!!!" Asta senses his light had become weak, but is recovering. She holds him close. "Come back to me..."
