Rei tried to smile again but sighed instead, she knew he wasn't as well as he wanted her to think. "Then you should rest, I don't want you to over do anything and get into trouble because of it." She said with a worried tone. "You would tell me if something was wrong, wouldn't you?" She asked almost childishly in her tone of voice.

"sure sure..." Leon yawned then winced again. "I'm fine." He yawned again stretching. Drowning takes alot out of you.

Rei was suspicious about the way he answered but shrugged, if he didn't want her help she wouldn't offer it. "Y'know what, I've noticed that you have changed since I first met you." She looks up at the sky for a moment before focusing her gaze out the corner of her eye toward Leon. "You make me want to be, different."

Leon looked up at her. His face scared slightly. "I've changed?" He remember that he promised he would remain quiet so he could blend in without notice and not cause anyone trouble. He broke that didn't he. He looked down and sighed sadly.

Rei took her gaze off him and her cheeks flushed slightly. "Not in a bad way!" She said quickly while stuttering throughout the statement, turning her gaze toward him. Immediately she felt uncomfortable thinking about how she put Leon on spot like she had. "N..Never mind." She said nervously before sighing her self and looking down at the ground.

Leon's mental shell began to come back slowly. "Don..dont worry... I was jsut thinking dont let me worry you.." He looked down as he sighed and took a step away.

Rei felt depressed at the moment and took a few rushed steps backwards until her back hit a tree. "I wasn't worried, what would make you say that?" She asked with almost no emotion in her voice.

Leon frowned and looked at her. "Look at yourself. Your worried that you hurt my feelings. I'm not owrth it, relax please." He looked at her worried.

Rei was startled by the way she was so easily read by him. "You're not as expendable as you think, you mean much more to me." She smiled toward him sincerely. "You are worth it."

Leon looked down. "Maybe i am.. but I don't want to be a bother." HE coughed violently into his arm again as he winced. He sighed looking at her.

Rei held both of her hands in front of her. "I am more of a bother than you are, I lead you into different situations that usually end up like this." She said with sadness in her voice, turning her head in the opposite direction, away from Leon.

Leon suddenly rushed up and pulled her into a hug. "YOur not a bother. YOur..the reason I'm still here..." He looked down still hugging her.

Rei's eyes widened when he embraced her in a hug, but relaxed slightly. "I wish you could see that's how I feel about you." She said quietly, wrapping her arms around him.

Leon smield. "I'm starting to. I.." His voice cut off as his eyes closed and his body fell limp as he passed out form his concussion.

Rei was concerned for Leon, it seemed as if everything was happening one thing after another so quickly. I wonder what he was going to say next? She thought to herself as she began walking again with Leon toward the school.
