Lt. Surge The raichu took the damage since he was at close range. "Raichu you okay. Now use focus blast." It stood up and launch a sphere towards jolteon.

"Jolteon, dodge it." Jolteon started running to avoid being hit by the sphere.

Lt. Surge "Follow it with a quick attack." Right after it shot the sphere it launch itself towards jolteon.

"Meet it Jolteon with your own Quick Attack." Jolteon rushes to Raichu and they meet at the head, the two pokemon glaring and growling at each other with sparks flying. *Woah....I never saw Jolteon get that tough in a battle before....*

Lt. Surge "Don't give up raichu, show that jolteon that you are better." The raichu was as well growling at jolteon and was forcing itself to push jolteon from the lock. He notice something between the two that he thought he had never seen before. "What is that?" He said as he saw a faint lightning flash between the two pokemon.

Jolteon kept pushing back and Mina cheered it on. "You can do it Jolteon." She also noticed the lightning flash between them as they kept pushing to see the stronger electric pokemon.

Lt. Surge "Step aside and use mega punch." he said snickering. The raichu step aside and that let jolteon to move a bit forward, which let raichu to pull the move from its back. That made jolteon skid towards the wall

When Raichu stepped aside, Jolteon lost its footing and fell forward, only to feel a Mega Punch to its side and skid into the wall. "Jolteon!" Jolteon growled a little before collapsing and she rushed over. "Jolteon. Are you ok?" She picked it up and carried it back to her side. "You did great buddy. I'm so proud of you." She then set it down and looked back to Lt. Surge and pulled out a pokeball. *One last shot.* "Pidgey, I choose you!" The pokeball opened and her Pidgey chirped and hovered above.

Lt. Surge Laughing at the pidgey he said"Is that the best you could do, I expected something better. Raichu finished this with lightning bolt." Feeling confident Raichu just shot it with out aiming carefully.

"Do not doubt any of my pokemon. Pidgey, dodge it and use Quick Attack." Pidgey easily dodged the attack and hit Raichu in the stomach before flying away.

Lt. Surge "You called that an attack, raichu show a real quick attack." After staggering from the hit raichu ran and jumped to hit the pidgey.

"Dodge it Pidgey. Then use Wing Attack." Pidgey swooped in and hit Raichu again and then flew up again and glowed white. "What's happening?"

Lt. Surge "This can't be happening, use shockwave now." After landing from the wing attack raichu growled and unleash a shock wave to the evolving pidgey.
