Drago led Steel on the sofa, "catch up on your sleep, i think you need it with how tired you look, mean while I'm going to do some chores" he said, Drago always did the houses chores, he seemed to get them done fast as well always using strange things like making a fire from his fingers to light the log fire or a ball of air a lightning to clean dust. Drago though had a bad feeling in his chest as if something was close, from this he was on gaurd more so than normal but hid the fact from steel he wanted his son to sleep for now.

Steel took Drago's advice and fell asleep. Kilin soon came downstairs shaking the sleep from her head. She was puzzled when she saw Steel lying asleep on the couch so early in the morning. She found Drago doing chores.
"Drago what's going on with Steel?" She asked.
The creature stalked on silent feet. He was hungry and was about to pounce on his prey when a sudden cold washed over his body. He knew what it meant but he was too hungry. He readied his legs beneath him and sprang. But the moment he moved a crushing force pushed him down and pinned him to the ground.
"Hello my pet." A deep voice that belonged to a shadowed man growled in his ear. "Didn't you want to talk to me?"
The creature whimpered in apology.
"Is my pet hungry? Here." The shadowed man flicked his wrist and snapped the neck of the animal the creature had been stalking and gave it to him. "You can have it after I leave." The man stroked the fur on the creature's head and back causing it to purr. "Now remember your task and all I have promised you will be yours." The man pulled the creature's head closer to him. "Prove yourself, Shartan, dispose of your other half." Then the man released him and was gone.
Shartan leaped hungrily on the dead animal. Then he used his powers to alter his appearance by making his scar disappear. Making him look less sinister. When he was finished he went to the village of Steel's parents. He requested met with them and asked them if he could have a safe haven with them and fabricated a heartbreaking story to convince them. They of course agreed and even told him that he should visit their son who lived in a cabin in the woods since they were the same age. Shartan thanked them and went to explore the village.
((Would you like to play Shartan in a little while? Once I get the whole evil plan laid out. He's going to become friends with Steel later and then get all evil and psycho on everyone.))

(it's not wise then to let Shartan get close to Drago, Drago is a demon and Demons can feel the emotions of living beings, so Drago would know what was about to happen before hand)
Drago looked at Kilin ad smiled "he needs rest, he hasn't slept well in a while so I gave him something to help" Drago said pouring a cup of tea for himself and her "Is there something you would like for breakfast?" he asked. Drago had decided to act like a carer for Kilin and had done everything for her like he would Steel, cooking, washing, he liked doing the chores since it made kept him occupied. Drago looked towards Steel's parents village 'I sense a dark heart, I hope everything is fine' he said as he looked at the window "I'm gonna send a message" he said happily and walked to the window with a not that seemed to write itself opening his hand to the breeze the letter flew into the air and went toward the village, it would soon be in the hands of Steel's true parents.
the message read
From Drago
I have sensed lately a Dark presence around your village it seems to be coming from someone that might have only just come to you, or they may yet still hide in shadow, I have already sent you a letter concerning this but I erge you to take action as the intent I feel will cause pain for many...
Drago sighed he didn't like having to tell them what he felt, but he had been the guardian of this forest during the time he was with the winged wolves, Drago sighed and finished his tea before wondering. before anything else Drago had become a winged wolf, he walked over to a basket that was twice his size and laid down in it, memories of the past,of him and his last love flashed through his mind as a tear crept down his muzzle as he closed his eyes.

Shartan was going to the cottage when he was suddenly flung off his feet and crashed into a tree. He leaped back up, snarling, ready to attack when he felt the crushing power holding him down. He immediately crouched low.
"Fool! There's a demon there! You have to make him come to you first, create the link! Then you are free to go where you wish. Go back to the village. Play the poor victim that everyone pitties. I will call him. He won't be able to resist. Be at the waterfall in one hour." The shadowed man released Shartan and sent him running. Then the shadowed man gathered his vast powers and called to Steel. He knew that Drago would dream Steel's dreams, but he easily blocked Steel's mind from Drago while still allowing Drago to dream.
"Steel. Steel. Where are you Steel? Something is troubling you Steel. I can help you. I can destroy the monster you see in your dreams. Come to the waterfall Steel, and everything will be all right. Come to me Steel."
...
Steel woke gently. He hadn't had any dreams and was well rested. But he felt that he had to go to the waterfall. He playfully pounced on Kilin who was near.
"Tell dad I'll be back soon. I need to go run around. See you in a bit!" Then he bounded out the door to the waterfall.
When he got there the shadowed man was already there.
"Steel! You made it! I'm so glad you could come!"
Shartan slinked out from behind a tree, snarling.
"Get behind me Steel, I'll protect you." The shadowed man said.
Steel trusted him and got behind him. But the man quickly turned around and laid his hand on Steel's chest directly over his heart. He used his magic to hold him down. Shartan stood next to him.
"This is the creature that's been in your dreams." The shadowed man hissed to Steel. "Do you know who he is? Why does he look so much like you? Well he's your brother. Born seconds before you were and I found him. If I had known you still had to be born I would have waited. But no matter, I have you now." He channeled his power to Steel's heart and took control, giving Steel some of the darkness that was in Shartan's heart, a small streak of black appeared in the blue stone around Steel's neck, barely visible. "Now they won't know where the darkness is coming from. If you value your life, you will say nothing." He laughed and let Steel go, he signaled to Shartan who pounced on Steel and attacked him. Steel tried to fight back but he had been weakened. Shartan and the shadowed man left him there, bruised, battered, bloody, and severely weakened. Steel tried to get up, but he could barely move his head. He whimpered and a tear trickled down his cheek as he gave up and settled back down, defeated.

(sorry if this ruins part of what you planned but i thought I would do this since Drago being as old as time knew something was going on from things he could see and feel where different)
Drago followed Steel as he left the cottage, he had felt the tug of strings that no man could see or feel, he had even noticed a strange presence stop in the distance before moving to a place he had played in days past 'I will end this today' he thought disguising his presence so nothing not even the gods could sense.
Drago watched what happened to Steel, he gritted his teeth as it was now he had to deal with the man that had appeared before he could help. A light wind blew threw the waterfall and surrounded steel and pulled him into the cave. 'seems the spirits have seen the plight, I had thought they had left this world' Drago felt better the spirits where known to help those who needed them and could do anything in the ways of healing.
Drago continued, on his way knowing he need not worry about his son, the sprites would have him back up and being himself in no time.
Drago catching up on the man came from the air landing on top of him, knocking the two into the floor "I will kill you, to annoy a god is a bad thing" with that a large ball of energy erupted out of drago crushing the man forming a crater in the ground
Drago's eyes turned on Shartan, an before even a second could pass his hand was inside of the beasts chest "may the mark of the winged wolf banish you, know you will have no home or place to go till you prove yourself in the eyes of the spirits" and quicker than a man heart beats the creature was sent through tree's a large mark on his body showing that he had been marked by the winged wolves as a traitor and a person to be shunned. Drago smiled darkly, it was rare for him to feel happy from ruin and destruction but as a demon like him he couldn't help it when he despised a person and these two for hurting steel he would feel great pleasure in hurting them and causing them endless pain.
Drago sighed, it had only been a second that had passed but for him it had been ten "seems I have broken the barrier between demons and mortals" he said seeing the broken veil as demons crawled through, Drago Growled and they turned back, "first the man" drago said not caring if a demon or two got through "I will end you now" Drago said raising a hand causing demonic crystals to start forming around The shadowy man.
(sorry about this but I thought that Drago should snap returning more to a demonic form from what's been happening, and that Veil broken, lets say it could be trouble later ^_^)

The shadowed man laughed. "Foolish, oh how foolish. Kill me and you kill him!" He pointed to where Steel was lying. "But if you want your world to remain the way it is you may have to kill him anyway." Shartan crawled miserably to the man's side. "I will leave you to your decision." Then he and Shartan disappeared leaving only the echo of his laughter.
Steel coughed and retched up blood. He felt as if all the hope and good things in the world had been wiped out. He was cold, so ice cold, and the blackness in his heart sought to take him all.

Drago went sighed "you will die by my hand, but my son will stay with me till time takes him" he said as he walked away the streak of red glowing brightly where he had made a break between the world and that if demons. Drago flew then passing through the waterfall where the spirits had taken steel, there he could see him "Sorry, I didn't act sooner" he said and walked over kneeling next to Steel "i'm sorry but there is something i must do" with that Drago pushed his hand into Steel's chest taking the life away from the only thing he cared about
"I take your life to cut the threads,
those that bind you to the earth,
then release the ties, that join one with another@
with that Drago removed his hand a tear rolling down his cheek as he ran his hand across Steels face 'to think i would need to do this' with that drago put his hand back on the hole in steels chest he had made.
The spirits inside the cave flew around as if knowing what Drago was doing, slowly they flew and entered Steel's body, time seemed to reverse as Steel's body returned to a perfect state "now the only one you are tied to is yourself" Drago said looking older, "i give my life force to you so that you may live without fear and so those that harmed you or have given you a gift that you did not seek have gone" Drago collapsed fell back onto the cave's wall, he smiled knowing Steel had nothing now to worry about and all that was left for drago to do was kill the man who had started this "I will come for you, my true self will soon emerge and your life will disapear like a flame without air"

Steel gasped and convulsed as Drago worked him magic. For moment he had a panicked thought. "Is he killing me? Is that the only way to get rid of this thing in my heart?" He felt himself slip away. Then suddenly his consciousness snapped back to him. He gasped in great lungfulls of air. He no longer hurt and noticed his wounds were gone and the dark hopelessness in his heart was gone as well. But he was exhausted. He stumbled over to Drago and slowly lay down. His head resting against Drago's side.

Drago smilled as he let Steel rest "I just hope you'll recognise this old man when you open your eyes" his vioce sounding worn and old though that was the case, he had given his life to make sure Steel would be ok, though to himself his own life now was nothing unless he could make sure Steel Stayed safe "I guess my soul will be returning to the realms of my farther soon, but before then I will take those who would harm you with me" his vioce was like a demon, no trace of humaninty in the words he spoke it was obvious he intended to disapear to save the last person he had feelings for.

Kilin had been worried about them so she went looking for them. She came upon Drago and Steel in the cave, she overheard what Drago had just said.
"So you're going to give up just like that." She said icily. "You're going to kill all his enemies then leave him. Well isn't that nice of you. You are all he's had for his whole life. He has an eternity to live because of that damned stone the gods gave him. And he thought he had an eternity to live with you. Isn't that what you've been through? You've seen every mortal being you love die haven't you? Well what would that do to him. Think about that."
Saying so she bent down and draped Steel over her shoulders to take him home, he was bigger than she but she was strong and she was determined.
...
Hidden away the shadowed man watched all this. He smiled and vanished.
((I thought I would add some tragic heartfelt speech in there mrgreen ))

Drago sighed, "seems you over heared" he said "I have lived longer than any parent and I will continue to do so" he said "death isn't possible for me, just the loss of an old body something that would have happened eventualy" he said noticing the presence of the man with that Drago sent a powerful sphere through the veil he could see from where the man was "hope that hurt him" Drago said knowing he hit the man hard though probly not enough
Drago looked at Kilin "my death will come, if not now a year maybe" he said "though I will come back, I am bound to this world unable to stay in my own home without being pulled back"
Drago smilled as he looked at her "I am glad though, I know while I am gone you will look after my son till I return"

Kilin nodded, her anger fading. "I see." Steel began to stir, he was conscious but not fully aware. She set him down so he could bare his own weight and she could still support him. "Well come on, old man. Let's go back and get some rest then." She smiled.

Drago smiled as he saw the slight movements as he regained consciousness "I guess that fits, I do look more like my age now" drago joked his hair white, "but i can't join you, I must kill that man" with that Drago put a necklace around kilin's neck and Steel this will lead me back to you and hlp me protect you even though I might be far away" with that drago stepped back vanishing in a glowing rift that closed behind him.
Drago stepped forward and looked at his prey his looks gone only his demonic form left as the ground around him burned yet the air froze making ice crystals that fell to the floor "face the wrath of all demons" he said as a large symbol formed in the air and on the ground around the two "there is no escape"

Steel had regained conscious and heard what Drago had just said.
"Father no!" He said weakly and struggled feebly. "No! Dad! Dad!"
"Shh." Kilin crooned and held him close. "He's already gone, we need to get back to the cabin so you can rest. You'll kill yourself if you go after him. Please, it needs to be this way."
Steel nodded and leaned against her as they made their way home.
Shartan's amulet glowed and the shadowed man weaved a spell before them. "Well well well, looky here, someone looks rather old doesn't he?" He smiled and the demons disappeared. "I'm a little disappointed, I didn't think you would walk into my trap so easily. You should look down."
If Drago looked down he would see that he was in the middle of a pentagram that held him captive and his magic would not work while in it.

Drago smiled "yes I am old, to think this is my fourth body since I was bound to the world, it's strange how immortality makes you look at the world" Drago smiled "hahaha, i guess i did" with that said though Drago had grasped the shadowed man multiple pentagrams, symbols and seals wrapped around the two "I didn't plan to use magic, I will use a force greater, one you will never grasp" Drago paused and gasped as what he was doing began to take it's toll "I love my son, and the friends he and I have made, so I will use My own life to kill you and I sealing the three of us here for eternity"
Drago looked at Shartan who had already being froze in a crystal like substance "I will die now, I do this for them so they can have a future together" Drago hoped that Steel and Kilin would be ok without them "now let us join your pet there in an eternity of nothingness" with that the crystal substance wrapped around the two of the freezing them in place Drago smiled as he looked at the mans eyes 'finaly it is done' Drago had done as he had planned with that Drago's eyes became clear obvious that his life had finaly come to a close, his body frozen next to the two people he had to get rid of for his son's future.
