Character Terminated

Update for those who can be involved in this little discussion.
I had an idea on a character in which would tie in to a few of the already made characters in the story. BUT! I don't want to mess up any backstories or plans they may have for their characters. So, I shall present the ideas thus far, and hopefully we can come up with something. I'd like this character to be one who connects some together to each other. Even if no one knows it.

Name: Unknown

Race: Fire Dragon in Human Form (potentially)

Appearance:



(In Dragon Form)
Exactly how Thy described the fire dragon.

Bio:
- _________ is an elder dragon from Ace's tribe.
- _________ is where Ace got the scales from
- _________ was captured by Raphael while in her human form and enslaved.
- _________ is weaker when a human than a dragon, hence how Raphael was able to capture her.
- She is kept constantly in her human form during her enslavement.
- Becomes an ally to Lucien in some way. (Thanks Priya for at least trying to help come up with something. Unlike EVERYONE ELSE *glares* )

That's all we've got thus far. Please feel free to make any comments or suggestions about this potential character.

It's a good idea.
But,
in my opinion, A dragon's a dragon. Nothing else. :p
The dragon Ace got the scales from, was already dead.
(Ace'd never kill a dragon. Not one that is really a dragon. He'd try to tame it)

However, I was thinking, yesterday. That Ace'd find the dragon that used to be is pet.
But that'd make Ace too powerful.

(Also. The fire tribe from DeLeon is not the firetribe from Ace's father)

Well, Lucien has a reason.
Altough, I personally wouldn't say a dragon. But a human with dragon-like features.

For example,
an icy-scaly skin. With large wings on his back.
His legs are a bit bent, ehhh. I dunno, like them dragons have.
And his nails have changed to large claws.
He also grew larger then a normal human, but shorter then an average dragon.

Ehh,, let's say,...
The size of.. two buildings stacked onto eachother?
(And I mean the french buildings we found in Paris.
I imagine them quite small. Not large. ( The time really should've been around 1500.. lol. xd ) )

Hmm, it's not too far off really.

Lucien isnt's a large dragon I should make clear. He's about 12 feet in length.[two people's height...I guess]

The blue blood ripped through the skin[the whole transformatiop, I imagine, happened quickly so though it was insanely painful...it did not last long. Remember that the blue ice/scales[they're basically in between the two] are all blood. That should be enough to explain the form.

The legs expanded into a tail partially while they also with...ugh...idk what it is called...shoulder blades? to create wings that weren't incredibly large[ice can only expand so much lol]

As you may expect by now...speed[wind] is major to most all those of ice that I bring in. Being smaller hastens him to an advantage. Ice surely isn't very powerful on its own[many flaws] but adding speed makes it formidable. Mmmm, his size also need be small due to the whole requirement of staying secret. Also, he has no legs. Should clearify there to so as Alex would put it, he's technically a wyrm? I prefer knowing him as a dragon or serpent though.

[EDIT: I forgot to add. My question is: Is this allowed?
He will only use the dragon "Summoning" to fight npcs, and for transportation. However, if he will be able to turn in one....pretty much the same. nvm. xd ]

Actually, the whole dragon thing brought me to an Idea I had a week ago or so.


Now, all this talk about dragons, and scales. Made me realise something.

I MUST do something with a dragon. I can't resist the temptation.

Either, Ace will be able to become one/turn in one.
OR, wich seems a lot more fun to me.
He will Tame one.

Remember that Yuuske asked if Ace needed more?
Well, He would. After seeing that Gloryrness too will help.
So, Yuuske 'n Ace'd go to the "Valley of dragons". And A dragon will attack them. Which Ace will tame.
The dragon, will then answer Ace's calls. And aid Ace in battle.
Or, transportation. (Dragons are strong. and big. So they'd be able to transport a small group.)


I already looked up a picture. It'd be a rare breed. And the colours are actually the opposite of the "Greater fire dragon". xd

I feel compelled to ask why everyone has to have a dragon...or a Dragon form...or BE a dragon...

I mean, the whole point of the RP is for the CHARACTERS to do things. if everyone is going to be able to summon dragons, and become dragons, you might as well have made it a DRAGON roleplay. Plus, with a s**t-ton of dragons suddenly flying around, around we going to be able to take the castle easily?

I would think that if there are even going to be dragons...we limit it to one person, namely Priya. Everyone else should be able to deal without it, or its going to start getting crazy. Ace, Havessa, and Cobra don';t need dragons. They can have special forms based off of their elements, sure, but everyone having a dragon theme seems a little over the top. elemental powers should be enough. That's just my two cents though...

If everyone wants dragons, and Priya approves of it...then that can be how it goes. Cobra however will not have a Dragon or a Dragon form.

Never said that.
And, it's been on my mind for quite a while. I just thought it'd be too powerful, and too big. Especially with all those guards.

Besides, When you think of fire, and an "Animal".
Atleast, I do.
I think of either a dragon, or some sort of cat-like thing. A lion, or tiger. Maybe.
And those are definitly not my kind of thing.

Besides, Ace will mainly use it to transport himself. At large distances.
And maybe, Because one day he will have to, to kill his father.

It's not like he'll be using it all the time.
Ace strongly believes that all animals, especially dragons, since he used to own one when he was little. Are supposed to be free. To freely move and go where they want.
So, it's not like he "Enslaves" a/the dragon.

I simply have a problem with the sudden explosion of Dragon talk in the thread, that's all. Ace can already FLY, does he really need a dragon to fly long distances?

...if people are going to bring Dragons into the scene, don't make them Elder dragons, a 12 foot dragon for Priya?...Okay...that's fine, but that's not an elder dragon. Elder Dragons are ENORMOUS...like 40, 50 ft...it's insane.

Dragon pets are fine, as long as they are kept more or less out of the way, I would just prefer to stick for the most part to people. Yes we are elemental users, but our powers and abilities should come from ourselves mainly, not from outside sources. There was a lot of VERY sudden talk of Dragons and dragon forms, so I just wanted to state my opinion in how I think it should be handled.

Sure. Go ahead and make him fly from France to an island at...about the other side of the world. That'd take way too long. xd

Besides. The dragon in the image does look tall. But, I can't make it look smaller. Resizing doesn't help.
But it's probably around... 20 foot. Ehh.. 5 to 6 metres.

Like I said, I always liked the idea of Ace being a dragon tamer. Or owning a dragon.
I just never used it because a dragon'd be too large and powerful.

But now that we've talked about the scales a lot.
And now that there's actually a LIVING dragon too.(Namely, Lucien)...
I realised it wouldn't be that bad.

Hey, ya know, if everyone wants a Dragon...that's fine, we can have a bunch of Dragons flying around, but I can and will create Dragon Rider NPCs to fight the party if need be. That actually sounds kind of fun...this whole Dragon thing is comin together.

...Priya, Permission to take charge of NPC Anti-Dragon attack parties?

(Cobra will still not have a dragon. Being in the air, well, let's just say there isn't a whole lot of EARTH in the air...which is why he would be wary of riding a dragon. though he might if he had to.)

Woah Cobra, no need to be so hostile about it.

I was just wanting to come up with some ideas for a character, she doesn't have to be a dragon. I just wanted a reason for her to be enslaved, and also that I would only expect and elder dragon to be powerful enough to take on a human form. Further more, elder dragons don't HAVE to be as big as you say. Those are just preconceived dimensions taken from other stories.

But since you're so against it, I won't make you get your undies in a knot. She won't be a dragon.

Thy - What if then, she was still from Ace's tribe, only one of the tribe members instead? like I mentioned before, I want to connect some of the characters in a way.

Now that everyone has said what they DON'T want about my character (which pretty much dismantled most of my ideas, thanks.) Anyone want to actually give some constructive opinions?

Yeah, I wasn't being hostile, or at least I didn't mean to be.

Havessa, without knowing your true powers, I cannot really say, BUT here's an idea for you. if you are truly not an elemental, there is an heir of strangeness in your abilities, this gives you one of a few options :

Demon, Evolved Human (Mutant), or a 'visitor'

Here's what I would suggest to you, You are a human...at least as far as any technology of this time can tell. I would suggest some sort of 'Mage' class for you, where you will eventually be able tor ecall spells and abilities focused around MAGIC rather then elemental control. In the end, this would make you a jack of all trades, as if you observe people of different elements, you might be able to 'remember' spells that you used to know. Seeing fireballs mght cause you to remember a Firebalst spell, seeing lightning might jog your memory of a chain Lightning...and so on and so on.

Eventually, after a long time, or some epiphany, you would regain most of your power, making you a VERITABLE force of magic and control over all elements, in a 'Mage' sense that is. This could also lead to telekinesis as you mentionec (or you can develop it earlier) , or maybe into a Polymorph spell that would allow you to assume the shape of other creatures for some small amount of time.

Just some thoughts. To toss it into your back-story, you COULD have worked for Raphael, as a Mage at his right hand to carry out his works, but once he found that you were too dangerous, or that he started to not trust you, he had your memory erased and tossed you to the streets to be left for dead.
