That's what my course has been telling me (tsvantsich), and I was getting scared...! ^^;

MiwSheri That's what my course has been telling me (tsvantsich), and I was getting scared...! ^^; It depends on where you are in Germany. People that live in Bavaria would probably pronounce '20' different than people that live in the northern part. Some people also pronounce it more like 'tsvan-tsik'.

I've always heard it said "Tsvan-Sihh".

Erm... if someone has a moment, could they possibly help me a bit with this? Bitte?
For my German homework, I have a few questions that ask you to fill in the corrent endings to the indefinite article and the adjective. Here's an example, though I'm pretty sure most understand what I'm talking about:
z.B.:
Ich will mir ein_ neu_ Auto kaufen.
I've put eines and neues, but I was wondering the endings are the same or if they differ...?

Yeah, ignore me, there's this Austrian girl in my German class and we all make fun of her for saing "Bursche" and "Bub" instead of "Junge." XD *socruel*Sluvotsky I've always heard it said "Tsvan-Sihh". Like, ... not a ch but not ...Not there, either.

Sluvotsky We need to come up with a list of words that are just, fun to say. I read a news article that said the German people had voted that "Rhabarbenmarmelade" was the funnest word to say.

It just rolles off the tongue.

Well, rolls about as much as a German word can roll.
