he looked over at cyan and gave him a smile. "if you eat your veggies you and me can play the wii together. how does that sound?

Cyan gave a sigh and started to eat his five bites that was part of the deal. He finished the last one and stuck out his tongue. "There. Happy?" Mari let out a laugh and got up, starting to gather the plates from the table. "Very." Cyan got out of the chair and went into the living room and Mari continued to clean the table off and load the dishes in the dishwasher after cleaning the leftover food off.

he was going to join cyan soon but wanted to talk to mari for a bit. he helped her put away the dishes then he gave her a kiss on the cheek. "that was good hun. thanks."

She smiled and closed the door to the dishwasher so it could start running. "No need." She then started to wash her hands since she was handling messy plates and silverware.

he stayed with her and spoke a little quietly just to make sure the kids wouldn't hear him. "i had to have a little father-son talk with garreth. that's why we didn't come in right away."

She seemed a bit curious as to what this talk was about. She grabbed a towel to dry her hands and looked at him. "Oh? What was it about?"

he looked back at her and started explaining what they talked about. "garreth was feeling upset cause he feels that he different and didn't understand why he couldn't look normal like you can."

Mari seemed a bit sad and let out a sigh. "Well, it's not like we didn't see this day coming. Is he alright? Should I go talk to him?" She put the towel down and looked into the front room, seeing he wasn't there and wondering where he ran off to.

he looked out the window and he smiled as he watched him play. "he's ok. i told him that no matter what, we'd always love him. that's what he really needed to hear i think. he seems happier now. but i don't think it would hurt if you talked to him too."

She looked up at him and gave a small smile. "I suppose you're right. I just don't know where to begin with it. I thought I explained everything. I guess I was wrong."

he put his arm around her and held her. he just kept smiling and he looked at her. "no. you wasn't wrong. theres just things he'll have to discover for himself. your a great mom mari."

She gave a sigh and leaned into his hold. Her arms crossed and she looked towards the living room. "I'm glad you think so."

he turned her around and kissed her. he wrappe his arms around her and looks into her eyes. "i love you"
