The Day of Silence is a day where people that support Gays, Lesbians, Bisexuals and Transexuals in their fight for equal rights don't speak to others for a whole day. To echo their silence is to make them be heard.
I am not gay, but I am participating because I support their cause, and, anti-gays piss me off.

Nah, I have to talk at work. And I think the Slince thing is kinda dumb. I can see wearing a button, or wearing a color, but not talking? How can you explain what you're protesting.
I support the cause, but not the means.
