Mayvine Fenrir Graveheart Hmm...is it wrong to kill an evil person? Depends on your justice and how "evil" they are <.< Well, everybody's sense of justice is different so lets pick something that is both general and natural. Psychopathy. Statistics show that about 1% of the human populations is a born psychopath. They are born evil. So should we kill them before they do what it is in their nature to do?

Nah, just watch 'em so they don't get the chance to do anything.

For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. If punishments are not given in the same quality upon which the criminal dishes out then how can there be justice?

If you give them the death penalty, it's a sweet release. Letting them rot in prison, living with what they've done everyday, to the point where they are screaming for death is a far more satisfying punishment.

Psychopaths are incapable of feeling guilt or remorse. They don't care who they hurt. Any attempt to say otherwise would just be them trying to manipulate someone to giving them a lesser punishment. So what about them? What about people who aren't sorry, and like what they've done?

So what about them? What about people who aren't sorry, and like what they've done? you make a good point, but the fact still remains, the killer is living in what amounts to a few bricks for the rest of their life.... They still die, they just slowly wither away..... I'd rather die than be stuck in a box for my whole life...

Arashikage2 Ron White In Texas we have the death penalty and we USE it. Thats why I'm proud to live in Virginia. Second in the nation only to Texas baby YEAH! XD s**t if 3 people saw you do it then its lethal injection for you! lol @snuff: Ah, so then by that description you're proposing that we don't kill them because it'd be too easy on them. Death is too quick and easy. So they should suffer the maximum and more hellish punishment we can give, which in your opinion would be life in prison. Is that right?

So what about them? What about people who aren't sorry, and like what they've done? Lock them up in ghost towns with giant walls around them, then let them sort each other out? That was what I was thinking too. Just put them on a maximum security island where they can start their own community and live out their lives however the hell they want. They want to kill people? Fine. They can kill each other there. Because normal society won't put up with that s**t. It'd be like the end of The One, starring Jet Li where the worst criminals get sent to the worst dimension there is, the one where all the criminals are dumped to serve out their lives. I like that idea. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=owYk4TOddYY

The only issue is that they'd be living off of taxpayer money, and with the economy as it is plus the overpopulation surplus in jails a lot of money is going to feed and care for these criminals that don't even deserve to breathe, in my opinion. So it might just be more cost-efficient to kill them instead. Kinda cruel I'd imagine but hey, the bad guys disappear and my grandma gets better medicare. Knocks two birds out with one stone for me. >.>

Over crowding and turning strays into shelters....they're over crowding, so the vets put down animals...good job green peace!
