Saanrio pd2care Saanrio pd2care I got bored and went through the inactive scrolls. There were a few scrolls that we couldn't help at all, so I just left them alone. 11 views and only 22 hours...not even WE can pull that one off. Took me over 2 hours to do it, so I don't think I'll be doing that any time soon, again. biggrin So, if you see new scrolls who weren't there a little while ago, show them some love. Several need to be in the infirmary tomorrow. Gonna grab daily chance, feed my fish, then go to bed. G'nite all!Okay ... First, I'd have to say is - Wow! You must have been really bored to go through all those scrolls.
Second, that's A LOT of returning scrolls in the Incubator! eek
*hoping the Incubator doesn't burst at the seams* biggrin I got an egg from 49 unique views to hatched in about five minutes... I've also gotten hatchlings to go from no wings to grown up in about an hour. It all depends on knowing where to put them. If you post them as critical, those who know where to walk them will do it. Also, but how is this fair? I put up my eggs and hatchlings when I want them up here. I have been since Willa asked us to do it and said they won't be in the incubator unless we do. Yet those who haven't bothered for whatever reason get theirs put up because you were bored? While my new egg is not in the incubator because I haven't followed the rules and posted it? How is that fair to me, or anyone else here who abides by the rules? Sorry if I sound rude, but I call it like it I see it.
I'm not going to argue on a public forum. I'm also not going to apologize for doing something with a guild that I co-captain. I'm sorry you don't agree with what I did. And you have no idea if I'd planned on going through any other scrolls tonight (as I do, do on a regular basis when I'm doing the infirmary) when I do the infirmary. I don't have to explain myself. If you aren't happy hear..... I'd hate to see any member leave, but please don't try to pick arguments on the boards.I didn't pick an argument, I just stated that your actions were not fair to the group as a whole. If you wanted to go through and do everyone's scrolls, then you should have stated that, or just not said anything about it at all, in order to avoid misunderstandings. If you saw me pointing out unfair actions as 'arguing' then that would be an example of a misunderstanding. Any actions in updating any part of the Incubator, Infirmary, and Inactive Scroll are at the discretion of the Mods in the Keep. We ask our members as a courtesy to post updates on their eggs and hatchlings because we have grown so big in the last couple of months. We greatly appreciate your cooperation in doing this as it has dramatically decreased the number of hours of work I and the Mods spend here in the Keep.
In some instances, I have been contacted by members through PMs who have given me their updates or who have stated valid problems in posting their dragons. The other mods have received similar PMs. Because someone chooses to post through PMs is very bit as valid as posting here in the thread. In other cases, we've been contacted by a third party (family member or friend) and been given updates. Several of these recent additions from the Inactive list to the Incubator fall into these catagories.
Additionally, when the Mods or I go through the Incubator in preparation for the Infirmary nightly, we have to look at everyone's scrolls to check the dates/times of every egg and hatchling. At times we have found eggs and hatchlings that were sick. As a courtesy, we have contacted those members about the problems. Again, this is something we don't have to do.
We do monitor the Inactive Scrolls from time to time for various reasons. One of these reasons is to inform inactive members of changes in Cave settings, etc, that would affect posting and updating their scrolls. We want to help keep our members informed, as we do with updates in the Cave thread. Another thing we don't have to do but chose to do.
If anyone thinks they have not benefited from being here, they are mistaken. For example, show me one other guild that consistently offers daily walking services for the expressed purpose to maturing the eggs and hatchlings under 4 days.
The people I have chosen to help monitor and maintain the Incubator and Infirmary here have proven themselves to be reliable and supportive in helping all the members here. We spend literally hours behind the scenes to keep this guild running as smoothly and efficiently as possible to benefit everyone here. In turn, I rely on my Mods' actions and support them.
If anyone wants to discuss this further, please PM me. Thank you.

Elsina gonk I fail!!! I forgot to mention that the seasonal egg I bred myself... xD The rest are from the cave. But I have a question.... is there like a breeding guide somewhere? I want to breed properly and get eggs.... instead of haphazardly pairing dragons and getting failed attempts. Unfortunately there isn't a guide to breeding. It's all luck mostly. There are some breeds that are more stubborn than others, like the metallics (they won't breed with each other at all). And breeding between two different dragons is always a 50-50 chance. In my case, most of the time I don't get the egg I want. *shrugs shoulders* Welcome to the wonderfully frustrating world of breeding! Good luck! ~ Willa biggrin Thanks for that. This randomness is crazy for me @___@ I will just keep trying then and see what I get lol

I thought I was doing it tonight, Willa.
And apparently, I do need to explain myself as so there won't be any misunderstanding.
Yes, I went through the inactives as I was bored. I go through the active scrolls regularly, when doing the incubator, and if I see that there's an egg that wasn't updated by the owner, I go ahead and add them. I do not do it every time, since I don't have time every time. It takes an hour to do the incubator, if there's no lag, or other issues. If I have to be somewhere, I just do the infirmary and go. Posting your codes ensures that your babies get in the incubator in a timely matter, instead of relying on people with real lives, who may not have the time to go through so many scrolls. It's just that simple.
If anyone wants to further discuss this with me, please PM me directly, so we don't clutter the boards. Thanks!
My plans fell through so I decided to do it. You did it for the last three days. biggrin
