Ah I get it. That why I try to stay away from revenge. If I've learned anything form anime it's that revenge tends to backfire.^^;

What I learned is that you never put down your weapon. That and you never mess with the protagonists woman or friends.

Those are both true too. Never put down a weapon even if it isn't yours. I learned that from...personal experience.
