MISSION- High Tide

The moon is out, the tides are swelling, and the fish are jumping! Get down to the shore and catch yourself a water pokemon!

Lucas was walking his bike by the shoreline. A nice sea breeze was blowing through his hair and he decided to let out Zubat to get some fresh air. “Go Zubat!” Lucas threw the pokeball in the air and Zubat popped out, flying in a figure 8 formation. “Nice to be out, huh?” Zubat nodded energetically and he laughed. He had to contribute some of the enthusiasm to it being nighttime and smiled. He continued smiling until he noticed something happening further on the beach. He began to hustle further down and got a better view. Two boys were smacking a Poliwag. And LAUGHING about it. A sneer was forming on his face. “Nothing more disgusting than that, is there Zubat?” Zubat nodded angrily and an evil smile spread across his face. “Supersonic?” Zubat began smiling and opened his mouth. A screeching voice filled the air and the boys clutching their heads in pain. They ran off screaming for their mommys as Lucas approached the injured Poliwag.

“Hey, are you okay little buddy?” Lucas crouched down and inspected the Poliwag. The wounds only looked like surface wounds, nothing serious. Without warning, Poliwag bolted up and fired a Water Gun. Lucas was knocked back and Poliwag jumped on top of him. Delivering a Doubleslap with its tail, Poliwag yanked off Lucas’ belt and wrapped it around its body. Laughing, Poliwag jumped into the water and began swimming away, all while an amazed Zubat looked on. Lucas got up slowly and stared at Zubat. “Why didn’t you help me!” Zubat shrugged and Lucas angrily pulled out his Aqua Bike. “Let’s try out this aqua mode.” He turned one of the gears on the handlebars and the bike’s wheels inflated with ridges in them. He climbed on with Zubat perched on his shoulder and began to pedal after the rogue Poliwag.

On a small island, Poliwag was examining its prize. It was a leather belt with several pokeballs attached to it and Poliwag was kind of disappointed. Poliwag was frowning sadly as Lucas and Zubat crept up behind it. Lucas nodded and Zubat let out a screeching Supersonic that caught Poliwag offguard. Poliwag stumbled and shivered in pain as Lucas ran towards his belt. Unfortunately, without a belt to hold them up, Lucas’ pants fell around his knees and Lucas tripped to the ground. “Curses! How can posers walk like that?” The Supersonic attack had ended and Poliwag was staring angrily at Lucas. “Wing Attack!” Zubat dove down with glowing wings and knocked the Poliwag off of its feet. Grabbing his pants, Lucas stood up and immediately shifted to tactics mode. “Now use Poison Sting.” Zubat fired a series of purple needles at the tadpole pokemon, who countered with a bubble attack. The two attacks converged in a smokescreen of power but that didn’t stop Poliwag. He continued firing a stream of bubbles, which knocked Zubat out of the sky. “Bite attack.” Zubat descended and sank its fangs into Poliwag. The tadpole let out a shriek of pain and knocked it away with a Doubleslap attack. Zubat was showing signs of fatique and Lucas knew he needed to wrap it up. “Use Leech Life!” Zubat bit once again and began to suck the life out of Poliwag. Poliwag managed to fight him off weakly and set up for its final attack. Its stomach began to rotate and the swirls grew harder and harder to distinguish. “It’s a Hypnosis attack! Zubat, fly off and I’ll handle this.” Grabbing his pokedex from his back pocket, Lucas flicked open the pokedex and used it’s blank screen to reflect the hypnosis attack back at the tadpole pokemon. Poliwag was swaying from weakness and Lucas launched a pokeball at it from his recaptured belt. The pokeball swayed and finally captured Poliwag. “Very successful. But you are definitely going to be a problem.” After returning his Zubat and climbing on his bike, Lucas pedaled back to headquarters.

Kevin sees the frost.

Kevin: Err ya.

Kevin heads to his room, and starts getting some stuff ready.

Pass, I loved your story. Keep the Poliwag, 600 PD, and a rank-up. Next time try to make it longer. Yes Quality is more important than Quantity, but Bigger is Better.

Kevin: I don't trust him when he's rushing...

Kevin then takes all of his stuff and gets out.

Lucas entered the Team Aqua base and looked around to see a lot of stuff going on. "Oh boy, this is definitely going to be weird."

*Blue Grimer start to appear on the shore, Tentacool start floating in the ocean as if dead, and a figure materializes on the top of Spear Mountain*

*I walk into Aqua*
Me: Wasn't this place a complete... nothing a few days ago?
