Novel Idea JoeEuphonium Novel Idea JoeEuphonium Novel Idea have you been a member here long....? Hmmm let me think..... its been....heheheh just a little more than a week actually! hehehe. well you seem to already know your way around.... i don't get guilds... i subscribe to forums but guilds are so full of stuff that i get overwhelmed... how do i know when a topic is active? Umm I really haven't been a guild person my self either untill recently. Ummm yeah its a little difficult to navigate around here I suppose but you get use to it really fast I think. This is very different from posting in regular forums because well....there just aren't as many active people here as there is there. For me I'm kinda look a little forward to meeting older gaians. My freinds that I know in real life introduced me a couple of years ago. Only two of them are still active. Almost all of my new friends on gaia have been 13 or 15 year old girls....which frankly...scares me a little! Soo yes meeting older people is going to be nice. i know what you mean... i thought that i was the only grown up on the whole site... ive been really happy to find this and the betty 18 and older forum... they have kept me active, otherwise i was getting ready to stop playing. I don't think I could stop because I've put so much time and money already into gaia. It would be hard for me to just walk away. I just have to put a different perspective when I talk to younger people. I consider my self ..... i dunno.... kinda like a mentor I suppose....a really good listener. So you do avi art! tell me about it!

Welcome Novel smile It's so nice to have you here with us!
I know all the different topics can be confusing at first but you get used to it after hanging around here a bit. I think the most active ones at the moment are here in the chatterbox, and in the subforms the polls & games, and off topic. I usually start with those when I sign on.
But it's good to go through them all at the beginning (if you want) just to see if there's a conversation that interests you. Even if something has been inactive for a long time it's fun to see a new perspective and maybe even bring the old conversation back to life smile

JoeEuphonium Tha Chica Lana hurricanes *shudders* must you remind me of them? xd one hurricane that will forever stay in my mind was hurricane hugo...that was a beast, a monster, I was two when it hit but I still remember that there was no leaves or grass anywhere on the island, almost like a bomb had went off. I remember when I was in Okinawa and we had a Typhoon that came in and just ripped the island apart. There were no leaves left anywhere. I remember being in the music building there trying to pick up all the water that was coming in through those 50 year old windows. We finally gave up in the end....long story... but afterwards there were no leaves left either. What amazed me though was how fast everything grew back. with in two weeks you would have never been able to tell what had happened earlier! you're lucky...our grass took months to grow back an we had no power for months ...it was a really trying time. I don't wanna remember!!! gonk STOP gonk gonk

I wouldn't say I have an innocent mind....but hey you know what I can go for about now? a fraco...a nice cold fraco, but I think you call it Icee or Slushie, we have them in flavors like guava, soursop, tamarand...ooooh yeah!
