Akira smiled brightly at Arielle and said, "Thank you so much, Headmistress!!", before giving her favorite authority mentor a proper small curtsy, Kilala resting on her shoulder. Then, the Demonic girl hugged Arielle lightly, figuring, what the heck, why not?
It was still proper...Sorta. Well if anything, she'd just blame the drowsiness, which actually wasn't a lie!
Fighting back a yawn, Akira curtsied again waved good night, before heading off back to her room. She spotting Evermore with...Who was that? Whoever she was, she was definitely pretty!
Stretching, Akira walked over and said, "Hi, long night huh...Nice to meet you! I'm Akira." she smiled warmly, then frown slightly, however, when she smelled salt on her best friend's cheeks. Had Evermore been crying...?
Kilala meowed in greeting, her tails swaying softly. She too could smell the tears and wondered just who she was going to have to burn to a crisp, as she jumped into Evermores arm's, softly rubbing her fuzzy cheek against the Fury's.

Ares, still on Mount Olympus, growled in frustration at himself, at Evermore, at everything. He hated how that fight had occured, and how it had ended. This was disgusting. Why did they have to fight so much?
He didn't like himself any more when he looked through his mirror, watching Evermore, and saw her crying. It killed him inside, and he wanted to do something--anything--to make up for that, if only to appease his conscience.
He clothed himself and sat at his desk, which he doubted Evermore had noticed sitting in a dark corner as it did. It was small, anyways, and he rarely used it. He took out a piece of parchment and a calligraphy pen and began to write. He sucked at poetry, but he hoped she'd appreciate the thought, at least.
As it is often said
From young lips
To young ears,
Roses are red,
Though these are white
And not so bright.
I give them to you
In peace
And affection
Despite all.
These roses shall last
Forever more,
For Evermore.
Conjuring up some everlasting white chocolate roses that were wrapped in beautiful red foil, he attached it to them. They would never run out. He sent the bunch to Evermore, letting them simply materialize on her desk. He doubted she would notice them for some time yet, and if she did, she would hate them, but... He had to try, at least.

Ever smiled at her best friend and her smile widened when Kilala jumped into her arms and rubbed up against her face.
"Hi sweetie... Such a good kitty, yes you are!"
She then nodded to her best friend. "Vanessa, this is my best friend, Akira. And this is her familiar Kilala. Akira, Kilala, this is Vanessa. She's here to see Ari."

((Gtg to bed, night all!!!))
Kilala meowed in agreement, just wanting to do her best to comfort this trouble Fury in her own little way, before asking mentally, "Are you alright, Evermore...? Whatever is troubling you, we're here to help! And cheer you up, of course! So who or what do i need to burn to a crisp for you?"
Akira had heard Kilala, and gave Evermore a quick nod, her eyes shinning with concern. She then smiled back to Vanessa and said, "Cool! Ari's a really great gal! Though she's in a bit of a pickle right now...But i'm sure you'll get to talk to her soon. Granted, it's past curfew right now, so i can't guarantee you anything, sorry!"

”You will watch your tone with me,” she said, the calm in her voice turning deadly. ”You heard Headmistress, Krause… bed! Also: I do not mind them attending the detention.” She turned to Ari once more, and gave her an awkward hug. ”I’m glad you’re ok,” she said. As she brushed by Akira and Caroline, she sent a thought to Akira. I do believe Ari is meeting Caroline at breakfast tomorrow to explain this. You ought to go if you wish to know what it going on sooner than the detention… She gave a small smile, and headed back off to her own room. She deserved a nice, looong sleep.

Nessa sighed in relief as her hand stopped its frantic sketching. She looked down at the tablet, and nearly peed herself. It was nearly all black. In the center were two lovely eyes… yet their gaze radiated an evil intent. At the bottom, she saw Ari, her gaze locked on the evil eyes. Another man was there too… and his eyes seemed the exact match to the evil ones. His gaze was kinder, however. A man with a goatee was there, depicted holding hands with a beautiful woman… no seriously, she was the prettiest woman Nessa had ever drawn. Her perfect skin was only marred by an ‘x’ over her heart. Their grasp on each other was powerful, as if they were afraid to let go. Next was the girl, Ever, looking upon the man and the woman with a look of powerful dislike… or was it sadness? With an odd feeling, she saw Evermore with the same ‘x’ over her own heart. Odd. Finally she saw herself high up in the corner of the paper with a calm expression, pencil in hand and sketchbook on her lap. There was a thin string connecting all the figures in the picture, and they all led back to the Eyes. Curiously enough, the string wrapped twice around the beautiful woman, and there was a direct connection to Evermore from her. Their sting seemed hopelessly knotted.
”This is my power,” she said, showing Evermore the sketch. ”I draw the future, write the future, and see the future. My writing is usually in the form of riddles and poems... they usually don’t make any sense until the event predicted within has passed… but it’s not impossible to crack them beforehand. Seeing is the most painful and traumatic,” she added. ”Does this,” she asked, gesturing to the sketch, ”Mean anything to you? This is why I need Ari… we’ve been together since before birth, and she can help me riddle this. I kept getting visions and I kept drawing this place, and me in it. Things are going to be happening… and apparently, I’m a part of it... and on that note, hello Akira! What's up, Kilala?”

Ari was slightly surprised when Aphrodite hugged her. It had that awkwardness that made it genuine. Weiiird. She curtsied to the Headmistress, and nodded to Musica as he left. She still felt terrible. As everyone was clearing out, she heard a beautiful accent rise above the near-silent hallways. It was the accent of an American... and not just any American: her American! Vanessa was here in Bai Ching!
With a muted squeal, Ari ran down the hall. They were outside Evermore's room with Akira, Kilala, Ever, and Nessa. With another squeal, Ari hurled herself at Vanessa, whose eyes widened in shock. The two girls spun around in a circle, hugging and jumping up and down. "Nessa! It's been forever! Where have you been? Why are you here!?" she said, sounding pleased.

Nessa hugged her best friend tightly. "Ari! I've missed you, you crazy Germanic fireball! Christ, I can't leave you alone for five minutes can I?! Already in trouble I hear!" she laughed, and retrieved her tablet from where she had flung it. "I've been in the American version of Bai Ching, be-tee dubbs," she informed Ari, "... and I already like it better here. Seen more action in my ten minutes here than in two and a half years there! Speaking of seeing... Ari, c-can you?!" she gasped in shock. Ari nodded vigorously."It's all thanks to Musica and... well, it's a long story. I'll catch you up to speed later. Why are you here?" she asked again. Nessa sighed and demonstrated the tablet again. ”This is why, Ari,” she whispered. Ari seemed lost for words. “E-ev, that’s you!” Ari said, pointing to the string. In fact, they were all there…

"Look!" Ari exclaimed, pointing to the pupils of the Eyes. In the pupils, there circulated names over and over again. Love, Doom, Caroline, Akira, Kilala... and countless others that spiraled until the print was too small to see. "Woah..." Ari murmured, staring. "I think I know who the Eyes belong to..." she whispered in a slightly frightened manner. Ari looked to Evermore, remembering that she hadn’t seen Evermore among the girls that had come to try to help. "... we were in danger, Evermore," Ari said numbly, "Y-you missed a lot... I'm surprised you didn't show. We could have used your help tonight. Aphrodite stepped in, though… good thing too. Caroline and I would be worse than dead if she hadn’t shown up!”

{{Sorry! I was kinda out of it last night. I kept messing up in many of the RPs I was in, so I finally just had to stop. lol. I think it's because I've been going to bed WAY to late at night/early morning. But I'm up a lot earlier today, so I'm going to get my hours switched back around and be aaaall better! biggrin }}
{{And very cool post with the sketch, Rrine!! biggrin I loved it so much! I also really loved the knotted string. Can be so symbolic!}}
Ever was still staring at the sketch in wonder... and horror. No, she wasn't completely focused on Ares and Aphrodite holding hands, although that was one of her main focuses, and she was very surprised that Vanessa could depict everyone so well. She was also focused on the eyes in the center of the sketch. Did they belong to the evil that was coming to Bai Ching that several of the gods had warned her about? Gods... This sucked.
And of course, if this depicted the future, then that meant Ever's fears were right. Ares did still care for Aphrodite and they would be together in the future.
Ever hadn't heard what Ari said, she had heard what Kilala said since she had said it before the sketch, and she had seen her best friend's concerned eyes, but it was just too much.
Ever leaned down and gently put Kilala down on the floor and then straightened back up. She shook her head and put her hand on her door.
"Look, it's late and... I just... need some sleep. Good night. It was nice to meet you, Vanessa."
With that, Ever closed the door. She could barely see two feet in front of her now that her vision was clouded with tears once more. She barely stumbled to her bed before she collapsed onto it and began crying silent tears. She cried herself to sleep.

Musica looked over at the pair an lightly nodded his head. He had a bad feeling that it involved him in someway. A you owe me something big kinda involved. "Ah, well best of luck on your search you two. I'm Musica Brandt by the way, I sell coffee in the mornings so come look me up for a cup in the cafe." He figured it best to get it all out now. Why wait for the inevitable? He nodded to all three and started to walk away. But he didn't get very far. For a single brief moment he heard Ari speaking with another girl only a couple of doors down. He smiled, glad something brought her happiness. After taking four steps, he was stopped in his tracks.

"Uhm..." Nessa began nervously as Evermore slammed the door in her face, "I think I made it worse!" Nessa bit her lip and looked down at her sketch. Evermore seemed to have the biggest problem with the man and the woman. Nessa scrutinized how they were depicted. Their clasped hands didn't seem romantic... just desperate. Almost as if something was pulling them apart, and they were afraid to be parted.
And what did the 'x' over Evermore's and the woman's hearts mean? Why was their string so much more hopelessly tangled? Looking unhappily at the sketch, she resolved to try extra hard to decipher this, if only because it had made Evermore so upset. Nessa didn't have that much confidence, though, mostly because she'd never cracked a picture before it came true/

"Don't worry about it," Ari said bracingly, "Ev hasn't had it easy. C'mon... I'm tired out. Can I room with you tonight? My room is still creepy-feeling, and I don't want to be alone. We can catch up that way!" Nessa agreed with gusto. They both said a goodnight to Akira and Kilala before Ari helped Nessa with her luggage, and they headed down the hall.
As the two rounded the corner, Ari saw Musica walking away from Aurora and a boy and a girl. He suddenly stopped though. “Ooh… who’s that?” Nessa said observing him. Ar rolled her eyes. ”That is the source of my trouble!”
“… but you like him!” Nessa accused, a smile in her eyes. Ari nodded. ”He’s something, that’s for sure!” Ari agreed.

Sam's eyes widened at mention of his name. She was plenty busy putting two and two together as Tyler stood next to her, only watching the very man that she suspected as their father walked by without another word. She had to do something to stop him, this was the only chance they could have to confront him. Turning around, it was now or never. And never was never an option for her. Ignoring her brother's watchful eyes she ran out towards the man, grabbing him from behind with both arms tightly around his stomach. Not caring there was other people around she spoke loudly, making sure to get the attention of at least this man. "Dad! Don't go just yet!" She wished immediately she'd chosen a different way to phrase it, but too late now. It had already happened. Musica's eyes widened in pure shock and surprise. Quickly he made a glance over at Ari and the others standing there. Then he sighed and looked back at the girl with weary eyes. "All right, you have my attention." There was never any rest for this demigod
