D'< And what're you talking about?! I found several good pics of John as a kid, they were just too.. shotacon-y to use. >>
D: It's because if you aren't drawing it for shotacon and just to draw a little kid, little girls end up being done more often since there's more you can do with the design there. Hair styles, shoes, clothes, jewelry/accessories, etc. ..There's still plenty you can do with boys, but it's not as obvious. >>
Same reason why girl's are more popular to find in pictures or girly men; but, that can be more because we like circles/round shapes and females tend to have more curves, while feminine men are often done more curvy than average, however subtle it is. D<

It's a pretty bland, overly cute shoujo anime series.
I tried watching it, because one of my favorite idol groups sang the theme songs, but I couldn't get through it. Too cutesy.
Actually, it was probably more because I discovered that the main character, who is in her last year of elementary school (6th grade, 12 years old) ends up with a second year high schooler (17 years old). That was too creepy for me. =______=

Well, it was either her or his sister, so I guess it's very weakly justified on Ikuto's part. But I got tired of all the super cuteness, too. Bleh! Dx
I also liked Amu a whole lot more with Kukkai, who was only 1 or 2 years older, I think. He was my favorite of the guys, if only because I knew she'd end up with Ikuto and Tadase is just waayy too girly. =P
