Ayame Hatake Suna's Huntress
We begin the HUNT and I
Feel the POWER course, as the creatures take flight
For the KILL is close and I will be SATISFIED!Ayame nodded to San and walked to one of the few remaining dummies. She rubbed her head. This training was intense, but hey she had asked for it. But San wasn't the only one showing fatique. She felt a bit drained. She had used a lot of chakra and it was starting to catch up to her. She needed to do this though. Constantly learning. Daichi watched his tamer as she mentally prepared herself. He could tell she was starting to feel fatigued as was San. There was a big difference between chakra levels though. He knew doing this high ranking jutsu was going to drain her. He nuzzled San's side and watched. Ayame took a deep breath and gathered her chakra. This was definitely going to be a doozy. She concentrated most of her chakra. She felt it well up and the amount of electricity made static start forming outside her body. Light blue arcs of electricity started to spark, it felt as if there was something else there. Ayame took another deep breath and stopped the sparks. She pushed all the electricity into her hand then into the dummy. The legs of it exploded making the dummy fall, almost as if it was kneeling. She then sent another burst into dummy and it turned to ash. It was as if it had never existed. Daichi watched Ayame perform the jutsu and didnt like the dragon thing that had appeared around her. It was something he did not understand. It had the color of his tamer's chakra. No other shinobi had that ice blue color of chakra or so that he had seen. He watched the dummy turn to nothing but ash and saw Ayame falter. He ran to her, but she just smiled at him and laid her hand on his head using her own strength to stand but still relying on her friend, "I did it." Daichi nuzzled her hand then looked at San.I can hear it calling again
The primal need is filling me
Changes are about to begin
And now my blood is BOILING
I can see the FEAR in your eyes
But you can't bring yourself to scream
Time to shed the mortal disguise
For the BEAST is coming to life!

San's biosense quickly inacted and he checked her vital signs. No abnormalities were observed, and although he couldnt see her chakra pool he had to assume it was jsut low from continual use. It had taken him a while to get use to it as well. "Nicely done. Its useful isnt it?"

For the KILL is close and I will be SATISFIED!Ayame nodded and sat on her haunches. Daichi nosed her cheek, "I'm fine just a lot of chakra," she looked back at San, "Yeah it is. That's a lot of raiton to use at once though," she said giving Daichi a treat, "Enjoy the show?" Daichi wrinkled his nose, 'Weird snake thing.' Ayame smiled softly, "A manifestation of the chakra bud that's all." He kept his nose wrinkled and looked at San.I can hear it calling again

San set his attention on the girl and her wolf, a puzzled and perplexed look came over his face that quickly left, seemingly as he searched his mind for an answer, a reason he could not understand or could not find. The Hatake's were so bound by their own unique loyalties, and the bonds they created, that it was interesting to see one such as her. What was the village to her but an extension of her pack? At the death of Raizen and Lola Satetsu, San had learned a hard way of what it meant to find a place amongst the best in the world, were even their home tried to test them every day. It was why suna made the toughest and the strongest ninja. Take that mentality, and add a battle hardened citizen soldier into the mix who had been instructed by not 1 but 3 legends, and the capabilities of the next generations to come would be unfathomable. It seemed the dream of Howaido was coming true before his very eyes, a dream Howaido would never get to see realized. San gave a smirk. It seemed he had done it. It was quite possibly the first true generation he had instructed that would finally surpass the masters before them. Team work, theatricality, deception, guts, valor, nobility, they were the true weapons that they were forged to become, forged to do one and one duty only: protect their home by any and all means necessary. The Hatake girl indeed had shown promise in this charge, naturally devising her own methods to increase the power and capabilities of those around her. She was the perfect example of what it meant to be a defender of her home. Maybe it was fate, heritage that she had inhereted by her clan, but their was some part of San that hoped that he was the one to instill it in all of these new ninja. He had to grasp he wouldnt be here forever, not like the Miyamoto's. His duty for now was to make suna the strongest he could, and prepare them for anything and everything. "The day of crisis will be like any other day so long as you are prepared." San formed a single hand seal, and disappeared in a plume of smoke.

Many who try to climb it fail and never get to try again. The fall breaks them. And some are given a chance to climb, they cling to the realm or the gods or love. Only the ladder is real. The climb is all there is.  Knives made his way with his new large blade in one hand on his shoulder as he come into the Academy to train another style he had learned of. Jutsu wasn't his specialty but it was always willing to learn more things. An outlaw walking through the valley of men
glared with a sunken eye of death
moved his head from side to side and said

Daichi looked at Knives and licked his hand as he hit one of his favorite spots, 'Training is goin fine. San is strange,' Daichi said grinning.I can hear it calling again

The climb is all there is. "A little something called Earth Sandwich." Knives said with a chuckle and a wink as he pulled off some of his weaponry and focused himself to try and get the chakra flow within him. He slowly went through the hand signs in his head. Remember each and every one of them in his mind's eye. His hands slowly worked into each sign so his muscles were used to it. His hands were used more to a sword. Hand signs were a foreign concept to him, mostly. He had used jutsu before but not without a blade. It had been awhile when he hadn't used a blade. He sped up his hand signs each time he practiced it in his head. The earth began to split with each movement. He was not pushing the chakra through him to activate the technique. But small slabs were being created with each movement. Knives finally felt comfortable with himself to fully activate the technique. He had a few dummies set up by students to have a target. It was a small squad sized group about the same number as the ambush a year ago. He felt the chakra within him move about. His hands quickly began to form the hand signs. Normally that would be it, but Knives liked to add his own movement at the end of most of his Earth techniques. It just felt right to him. As he finished the last technique he slammed his own foot into the ground. What happened next was nothing but pure awesome to Knives. Two giant slabs arose up and sandwiched the squad of dummies between them as they closed and smashed them together. "And that, is the Sandwich technique." Knives chuckled.
