Adelle saunters into the HQ, stifling a yawn with the back of her hand.

"Hello everyone...the prodigal Aqua returns." She giggles slightly before moving over to a chair and plopping down into it, pulling out a book.

*Hunter returns his mission grading pen to his pocket and looks up*
Me: Hey Adelle

Me: Eh... Making a feeble attempt to keep this place alive...
*Hunter disappears into the depths of the HQ, trying to discover where everything is*

SC walks in, dripping wet.
"Geez, these people really don't make it easy to learn it," she grumbles, squeezing the water out of her neon green hair with her fingers. She walks down one of the new halls and finds a closet containing some towels. She picks one up and dries her hair and face. She then walks back into the main room and sits down on the couch, most of her clothes having dried in the warm sun on the way to Aqua.
"Maybe it wasn't such a great idea to take a side class just for something to do while Aqua is still in contstruction....." she mutters to herself, still thinking about the ocean outside. "And to think that college starts up for me tomorrow. Lucky Aqua's so close, I guess."

Mission- Shadow Sneak

We’re getting word that the purposively abandoned Shadow Pokemon Lab in central Orre is active again. I need you to go there and find out what’s going on.

Take this disk. It’s got Data Retrieval program to copy the files we need. Just get to the lab’s mainframe and plug it in.

Stealth is critical and I don’t know what their security setup is like. But if you set off the alarm, you’ll have to fight your way out. (If you’re discovered, fight 2 guards with 2-3 pokemon each.)

Pokemon:
Since this is a stealth operation, you should avoid wild pokemon.

Rewards: 2000-2500


Corey stayed down on the ground, looking through a pair of binoculars at the old Building that was the Shadow Pokemon Lab facility. It was late afternoon and it didn’t seem like much of anything could possibly be going on in that god-forsaken building, let alone anything of importance. But still, an a mission is a mission, and Corey figured it best to do any complaining when this was all over. Corey lets a light sigh
“Come on nighttime, hurry up so I can do this thing.” he says, getting a bit impatient with all this waiting, the price for getting to the Orre region earlier by riding his Starly late that night. He puts the binoculars down and rolls over, then sets a small alarm clock he had to wake him up in a few hours, then puts it directly by his head. He lays his head back on the rocky terrain and yawns, tired from not having slept yet. He falls asleep in a minute or two, not being bothered by dream nor nightmare. If he was bothered by a nightmare, he’d go look around for a ghost pokemon that might have caused it nearby. Several hours later the shrill the alarm clock woke Corey up unwillingly. He moves his hand hit’s the button to turn the shrilling noise off. He opens his eyes to the night sky and the dim glow of the stars. Taking a minute to recall where he was and why he was there, Corey then sits and stands up, then takes out his binoculars and looks at the old lab again. He sees a couple faint glows of light from some of the farther back windows
“Just what I was looking for.” he says with a slight smile, the theory about going-ons in that building confirmed. He put his binoculars away and quietly heads over to the building, staying well-hidden in the shadows so his figure wouldn’t be seen by someone who would just happen to look out the window. Hey, sometimes things like that happen, so the possibility can’t be discounted.

After several minutes he arrives and takes a look up at the building itself. After one quick glance around he heads to the back of the building. He crouches down by a slightly dilapidated rock and watches for a few minutes for any activity nearby. Someone in an odd uniform and flash light walks by the perimeter, just short of the rock. When the person turns and heads around the side of the building Corey quickly but quietly rushes to the building. He looks for a way in and sees an open window. Thanking silently whatever luck he was having , Corey quickly hops onto the windowsil and into the room itself. The room itself was a bit dark, with faint humming of machinery seeming to come from everywhere in the building. Crouching down below the window, Corey lets his eyes adjust to the darkened room. When they do he sees some active machines in the room. Ignoring them he goes over to the door and puts his ear to it, listening for anything. He hears faint footsteps and what sounds like something buzzing moving past. Corey stiffens up a bit and listens for both noises to completely fade away, and when they do he quietly opens the door and looks around, seeing the halls lighted enough to see clearly anything that can move

‘That means they will be able to see me too. Gotta be careful.’ Corey thinks as he looks around. He silently walks out of the room, taking caution with each step not to set of any possible alarms. He walks down the hall for a few seconds before seeing a person patrolling the hall. Corey quickly looks around and finds a few crates stacked up. He quickly goes behind those and waits for the guard to pass. After several nerve-wracking seconds he walks by the crates and seems to not notice Corey. The relieved Aqua member quickly moves past the crates and down a branch of the hallway, a guard having seen him out the corner of his eye but not able to confirm if it was an intruder or one of the guards in a rush to get to the bathroom, since it Corey was only seen for a split second. Corey quickly opens a room door and enters. One look around and seeing some toilets and a couple stall let Corey know he found the men’s room instead of the mainframe room. Corey lets a small dismayed sigh when he hears someone approaching the restroom. Quickly Corey goes into a stall and closes and locks it and acts like he is one of the patrolman using the restroom. He hears the person come in and walk over to a urinal and use it, then the person start talking to himself
“Patrol the halls, patrol the halls, that’s all I ever get to do. I got more talent and brains than at least half of these goons and this is how it’s wasted. I swear if my superior comes in here right now I’ll give him a what-for and then some…” he complains somewhat disgruntled to himself.
‘Poor guy, guess not everyone can be happy with their higher-up. Well if all goes well you won’t be in this much longer, I’m here to take some data from you guys.’ Corey thinks to himself. Several seconds after he was sure the guard finished and left Corey left the restroom and went down the hall and into a random room. He saw some people in front of monitors that were showing some of the rooms.
“Security cameras…” Corey says, then quickly covers his mouth as the two people turn around and see him. It only takes them a second to see that Corey is an intruder and they both get in front and behind him.

“What are you doing here, kid?” The one if front asks. Corey looks at both of them and decides he can take them, after all he’s part machine.
“I’m here to take some data from you guys and head back to where I reside and show my boss.” he answers while looking at the man in front of him then behind him. They look at each other
“Not if we have anything to say about it.” The one behind Corey says as he takes out his poke ball, along with the one in front of him. Corey takes a quick look and both of them and put two and two together. Only one way out of this problem.
“I guess I got no choice. Talking certainly won’t get me out of this.” Corey says as he takes out two poke balls and quickly sidesteps to give him some room. Each guard sends out a pokemon, a Seviper and a Magnemite. Corey takes several seconds to think before sending his pokemon out.
“Go, Mime Jr. and Sqiurtle!” Corey commands as he sends out his two pokemon.
“Now Mime Jr., use Psychic on Seviper. Squirtle, use Water Pulse on Seviper!” he commands to them.

“Eletrike, use Spark!” The guard that owned Eletrike commands
“Seviper, use Poison Tail!” the second guard commands. Small amount of visible electricity start to form around Eletrike as Seviper rears back to attack. Squirtle takes in a breath and shoots out of it’s mouth and sends out something more akin to an ultrasonic wave since he wasn’t using any water and aimed it at Seviper. Eletrike’s spark was then launched and hit Squirtle dead-on. The tiny turtle pokemon lets a yelp and falls over on the back of it’s shell as Seviper gets knocked back from Squirtle’s attack and into a wall. Mime Jr’s eyes turn to a glowing red color, then Mime Jr. dies a small spin and holds both hands out toward Seviper, who gets picked up by nothing visible and flung against the wall several times. At this rate both Squirtle and Seviper were fainted, both victims of a super-effective attack. Corey quickly withdraws his fainted pokemon into his poke ball.
“Go, Ghastly!” Corey says as he tosses another poke ball onto the ground, and out comes his ghost-type pokemon.
“Quickly Ghastly, use night shade!” Corey commands. Ghastly’s eyes turn an errie blue as a thick darkness seeming to come from no-where enveloped everything and everybody in the room. After several seconds the darkness subsides Eletrike looks like it saw something kinda scary that hurt it a bit. The second guard sent out Geodude.
“Mime Jr., use Psychic on Geodude.” Corey commands.
“Eletrike, use Spaak again on Mime Jr.!” the first guard commands
“Geodude, use rock throw on Ghastly!” the other guard commands. Geodude takes off a section of itself and hurls it at Ghastly.
“Get out of the way and counterattack with Shadow Ball Ghastly!” Corey commands. Ghastly turns invsisble and floats up to the ceiling. Then it turns seeable again and launches a dark blob at Geodude, which hit’s the boulder-like pokemon and knocks it back. Mime Jr.’s eyes turn that glowing red again the same thing happens to Geodude that did Seviper, only difference it that there’s a few dents in the wall from the impact now. Eletrike charges up some electricity hits Mime Jr. with it, sending it falling back, then it ges back on it’s feet. The second guard withdrew Geodude and said a few not-so-child-friendly words before running off, probably to find an alarm. Corey takes a frantic look at his pokemon
“Do whatever it takes to win, I gotta stop that dude!” Corey exclaims as he quickly sprint past the battle sight, catching up to he guy shortly. He quickly tackles him and chokeholds him until he gets KO’ed, then runs back to the battle, seeing his team had won, but wasn’t in the best of shape. Corey also noticed the other guard gone. He quickly recalled his pokemon and took and elevator down. After several minutes of exploring and elevato-hopping later Corey found himself in a large lab room with a large computer. Corey carefully walked up, looking for any traps that may be set. When he sees none Corey quickly turns the computer on. The first thing that came up is

“Ha.” Corey said to the large computer. He then inserted the disc he brought with him to get the data from the mainframe. Thankfully the disc did most of the work and got the data needed. Corey quickly ejected the disc and snuck out of the lab undetected. He brought his Starly out and used it to fly back to Aqua

*Deryx walked outside, Pombii on his shoulder, and Troy walking beind him. Brine had packed up and left right after finishing the now finished base. Troy looked up at Deryx*
"It seems like forever since we have actually stepped out o the base, let alone your room."
"Ya well I decided to give it a rest from playing that stupid game on the computer."
*Pombii dive bombed Troy from Deryxs shoulder.*
