"Yes." After Lindsey sets him on the bed, he waves a hand weakly at him. "Water. Cloth."
Lindsey nods and hurries off. Byron coughs again, setting his hands to his throat. There are some red finger markings there.

List is trailing behind her.

There are deep red marks, like someone tried to strangle him.
Lindsey scurries in. He wets a cloth and holds it out to Byron. Byron presses it against his neck.

Edan kicks open a bathroom door and stumbles to the shower to turn it on.

Edan whips his head around to look at the door. In the moment before he sees Angie, the ends of his hair are singed, and a large area of his left side, arm, and chest have deep burns. When he spots Angie, these injuries dissapear, though the smell of burned flesh remains. "Gorgeous."
