matching sevilin's raise and glancing at zahara slightly.
"Our wives? malikhai just went home...I'm assuming you didn't bring piper here?"
the only time she went upstairs after zahara left after girls night was the last time when she had gotten drunk. and that had not been a pleasant time after. not only in the holding all her hair back but in the general bad turn her health went as well.

"From the way she smells, I'd say yours is at home at the very least a little tipsy." Though he could tell the difference between a drunk Zahara and a sober one and she was the latter, but she had been drinking. Giving a frown though he sighed and plopped down his cards. "Okay call, I have a pair of twos." Zahara was going to start tugging at him soon.

"No. She's upstairs at your house. All wives are currently, or about to be, upstairs. Finish your game and then join your respective ones, gentlemen." She frowned at Sevilin's comment and thwacked him on the head. "Be nice to me." Shaking her head and strolling off upstairs.

"ah. good to here."
sighing lightly, and tossing down his cards, pair of fours.
"About time. I still say our sons were counting cards or something."
before giving a nod to sevilin, scooping up his winnings.
"I'm going to have to buy her a new dress or something made of silk to pull this off."
shaking his head lightly.
"And since Zahara insists, I'll head out and take care of tipsy piper before she lights all her candles just for fun or a slight drunk fascination with firelight."

She sneered. "I Don't care what you do. Just don't kill him."
The acid hissed and bubbled, working it's way though the thin layer of plaster and the wooden beam underneath. At this point, the sleeping man may have been dreaming about the noise, but unless he was a very light sleeper, it would take more than plain human ears to wake up to such a quite sound.
The middle part burned through first, Aella wrapped her hand around the larger part, bracing for release. It went through and she hauled the piece up, setting it quietly aside.
"You go in first. It won't frighten him at all to see a pretty girl in his bed chambers."
She smirked. "And show those pearly whites."

He gave a purr and slide down the hole without sound, landing and the ground and taking a moment to look around...before flinging the drawers in from of the door. that woke up this little weasel of a man, and he did resemble a weasel a bit if you really looked and thought about it. and his race for the balcony doors was short lived by a clawed hand jerking his up by the collar of his night shirt and holding him in the air, flashing his pearly whites just like he was asked.
"And where do you think your going? There's someone who'd like to meet you. before shoving him on the ground in front of Aella, claws digging into flesh and leaving lovely trails of blood down his tunic

Aella slipped in after Onyx, staying back so that she wasn't seen until the Vah had pointed her out. Cloaked in her colour spell, her eyes and mouth shown with an eerie light.
"Now now, Mr....DeClaire, was it? Don't try screaming. My friend here can move faster than you're mouth can." She flexed her hand, admiring her nails like the man in front of her wasn't worth looking at. "I have to admit it was fun, finding a way into your little fortress." She spread her arms, smiling. Then a shrug. "Even if it wasn't very hard."
The human was shivering, too frightened to speak. "So I'm going to ask nicely once, and only once." She leaned in close. "Hand over the Maltese Falcon."

Onyx dug his claws in and twisted them, making him hiss...trying not to scream when he didn't answer fast enough for Onyx's liking. but he gave her the stoic look, before Onyx's other hand did similar to his other shoulder. there was good deal of blood now.
"Quickly now, before you pass out...or her annoyance gets the better of her."
Before he motioned to a book case with his head, nodding to it and not doing anything else.

Aella straightened, looked at the book case. "Really? The book case?" She sighed. "All of this money spent and you put it in a book case?" She cast a quick glance over the whole thing, wondering if there was a trigger for a false wall, or...ah, there it was. A very thick book. She pulled it out, opened it it to find the falcon statuette sitting in the carved out innards"
She didn't pull it out of the book, she knew better than that. But she'd deal with it later.
She could here feet out in the hallway, picking up the book had set off some kin of alarm. That's okay, she'd expected it. "Yell for help now and I'll break your jaw," she said. Strapping the book to her belt.

"Don't worry about him."
wiping off his hands and putting them together, after all he wouldn't dream of getting someone else blood on her.
"He's out from bloodloss. they'll get the door open before he dies, I think. in the meantime, we need to make ourselves scarce. So come on I'll give you a leg up and be right behind you."

Onyx threw Aella up throught he hole, following shortly after. it would take too long for those trying to get it to realize they weren't there to care much beyond that and a quick glide to Aella's things and they snuck out into the dark, with their most recent prize.
Malik made it home, grumbling about his bad luck at boys night...before going upstairs and as predicted, finding a pleasently somewhat drunken piper staring at the flames on matches and apparently having lit all sorts of candles. a slight chuckle before walking over and giving her a kiss, and tending to her needs during the evening. be that just talking or holding her hair back.

She came out of reverie with a start, her foggy mind failing to give her the details about where she was or who she was with. Runes were used quickly and without hesitation, paralyzing the elf who lay beside her while her mind accustomed itself to her surroundings and what was going on. It took a few moments to realize who she was with, that all of her clothes were still on and Mykorian hadn't tried to rape her before she released the rune and shook her head. "I'm sorry, Mykorian."
As far as she was concerned, there was nothing on the plane that beat waking up in Malikhai's arms. That was one thing that their wedding hadn't changed in the slightest. She'd been taking reverie in Malikhai's bed, snuggled up in his arms, since the night she'd run away from home. Her head felt kind of funny, however, and she wondered if it was even a good idea to get up. "Khai...do you feel funny?" Asked over her shoulder to her possibly still-in-reverie husband.
Zahara, on the other hand, hadn't gotten much reverie last night and had been pacing the floor in worry since Faate hadn't come home. It wasn't like her eldest daughter to stay out all night, whether or not she'd gone through with her threat, and Zahara was concerned they'd pushed her too far. Sevilin would never forgive her if harm came to his baby girl because of her own foolish desire to see her daughter be what she believed was normal.

"Zahara must have put something in that thing." Because she was feeling exceptionally pleasant which was a very nice thing indeed. There was nothing worse than feeling terrible after you were just trying to have a good time. Being spared was grand in this case. "So this...necromancy...thing. I said it with the boys and it goes for her too. I don't want your little peons overdoing it."
Not a pleasant way to be pulled out of reverie at all and something he had always found disturbing. "Yeah, not fun to deal with at all. Try not to do that." Letting himself stretch out while that tingling washed and ebbed over him. Ugh he never liked that feeling.
He mumbled something or other before giving a light sigh and snuggling her up closer to him. "No, I don't feel funny. What do you even mean by funny?" Though he could probably guess what 'funny' was. Kaelin didn't drink much and everyone knew how Zahara mixed drinks.
"Mom? Hey mom? Mom? You're burning breakfast mom!" Talk about being distracted, she was the definition of it it seemed. Which wasn't normal for her at all. But he got himself up and rescuing pancakes from doom...well, one side of some of them. "What's on your mind?"

She knew he'd be fine in a bit of time but her own body still had to recover. She was still working up to keeping her power concentrated and in one spot in her body. Her father had mentioned that she would soon be ready to take the next step but only if she didn't do so too early. Runing like this in a panic was one of those things that brought on effects too early. "I didn't quite know where I was or what was going on for a second. Are you going to be alright?"
"I feel...happy and unable to walk at the same time. Like if I were to stand up, all I'd be able to do was skip along. No walking for me." The tingling and warming sensation had filled her bones and she rather liked it. "Have you ever felt like that?"
"What?" She was startled as her son started handling the pancakes instead and she stepped back a moment to gain her bearings. She was on autopilot and that was never a good thing around the stove or fire of any sort. "I'm worried about your sister. She left Twilight upset and didn't come home. I wonder if she went to Mykorian's..." Grabbing the pan back, she tossed the burnt pancakes and began making fresh. "I'm sorry. I'm just distracted this morning. Breakfast will be ready in a bit."

"They won't overdo it. besides, Malikhai will be there as well so you know nothing will get overdone. I've given instruction that he is acting in my stead if I am not there. What he says goes."
leaning over and giving her a kiss.
"At least we know that it works. a chance for our daughter to see again, at least for short periods of time."
