Peace and serenity sure come in the strangest forms sometimes. I have made mention of the roomy. I believe I've made mention of my probation. I think I may have even mentioned something about my roomies methadone addiction. I never mentioned that she has 6 aggrivated assault charges and two domestic violence charges, nor did I mention that had I called the police like I should have, she would have chalked up 4 more of those charges.
I just got a phone call from my cell phone, which I left at home today. It was my roomies ex husband. He was calling to inform me that roomie had been court ordered into rehab, custody of her children had been taken from her and that I probably ought to get my locks changed and file a protective order against her, pending her completion of rehab.
Apparently, my PO came over to do a random house check, which I've been expecting for a while now. I will never know how the exchange took place, but apparently roomie got lippy enough that her background was run and warrants that I wasn't aware of were discovered. But it didn't end here.
With said warrants, the had probable cause to search her and they found her methadone. Instead of pressing charges, a narcotics officer gave her the choice to go into rehab as she had been flagged for fishing for opiates from almost all hospitals in a 60 square mile vacinity.
My PO is not returning my calls. Living with a felon or someone with outstanding warrants? Probation violation, automatic 1-15 years in prison. Roomie with outstanding warrants and narcotics in her possession? Probation violation, enhanced, automatic 1-15 years in prison without any requirement to assess good behavior.
I don't know if I'm going to be held accountable for her actions or her possessions. I'm glad that she's gone and that I can get rid of the pictures of the collateral damage she did to my face and head over various occassions. I'm glad that I no longer have to worry about her going through withdrawls and being afraid of getting my a** kicked. I'm scared to ******** death that I'm going to go down for all this.
The one thing I have in my favor? I'm required to piss test like a puppet any and every time my PO wants me to. I have never once pissed dirty. That has to hold some weight somewhere.
God help me, that has to hold some ******** weight.
