Human chess, I think there was some sort of battle royale (like with paintball or something), going on an old fashioned fox hunt but with people instead of foxes... Pretty much any sort of competition with an extra level of inhumane.

Pssh, January's always jealous of Lilia, where do you think the rivalry comes from? Every night before bed, January takes out her framed photo of Lilia and sings You Are The Wind Beneath My Wings to it.
I'm just imagining their wedding. January would be decked out in so much lace and frill you can't make out her limbs, and he'd just be standing there and regretting every decision he's ever made because it all lead him to this point. ~*~new otp~*~
