"Please watch your tone of voice with me, Miss Caroline," she said smoothly, raising an eyebrow at the girl. "I may only be a councilor, but I ask the same amount of respect that you would give to any other teacher on campus."

Akira had sighed in relief, grateful that she didn't have to explain this crazy mess to the Headmistress. However, the waiting had started to get seriously annoying...

Kilala transformed back into her miniature form and jumped into her master's arms, relaxing. Hey, at least everything was under control once again, she Demonic feline reasoned.

She listened to Ari's explanation, connecting it with what she'd 1st saw, then heard. Almost everything matched. Fair enough.

Akira looked over to Caroline and then to Aphrodite-err miss Dite, with a warm smile, and holding back a giggle, she said, "Umm, what Caro means is that we sorta obviously deserve an explanation! After all, Ari had been in danger before you arrived and more, so it's only fair! It's not right to just ship us off, ya know? And i didn't get to say this earlier...But thank you for helping me a couple of nights ago, i seriously appreciate it!!"

Akira bowed slightly, not dropping Kilala or disturbing her.

Hopefully she'd shown enough respect, maybe. The Demonic girl was still riled up by the way too powerful aura's that had been around before to really think straight.

Basically, she shouldn't sense aura's as much or feel them as strongly as Caroline, since she was only a half demon, but after having trained her senses as a young child, Akira's just as sensitive and affect by them as a full Demon would be now.

"You must understand, girls," said Aphira, "That just because you were here, does not mean you deserve an explanation. This is one issue that cannot, under any circumstances, be spread around the school. Period." Aphrodite concluded rather sharply. Her face softened. "... and We're not shipping you off. It's curfew anyway. Go get some sleep, and enjoy your weekend!"

Vanessa Block had just caught the receptionist on her way out the door. It had been one hell of a day. Her flight had gotten canceled twice, and she had nearly missed her connecting flight to the town where the school was. When her mom had told her about Bai Ching, she hadn't expected the 'transfer' to be literal. Vanessa heaved a tired sigh as the nice elderly woman behind the desk typed away at her computer, pulling Ness' records. At least Ari was here... she'd try to find her in the morning. "Here you go, dear! The top paper is your scedule, and the bottom one is your room assignment. The dorms are out this door, to the left, and up two flights. Can you make it ok?" the woman asked, looking pointedly at Vanessa's bags.

"Oh yeah, I'll be fine!" the American assured her. With another fifty 'thank you!'s', Vanessa turned and exited the building in the direction the woman had pointed. She had a bit of difficulty ascending the stairs, but she finally made it to the third floor. Wiping her warm forehead, she consulted her room number, and then the plaque depicting which direction she ought to take for which number. Smiling, she headed to the left, rolling her suitcases behind her.

As she rounded the corner, her keen ears picked up the sound of crying. Well, sobbing actually. She bit her lip. If this girl was upset, Ness should stop to ask if she was ok. Pulling her luggage to a stop, she gently wrapped on the door. "Erm, hello?" she called softly, "... are you ok?"

Love sat in the corner sniffling slightly. Null had stayed for a few hours, but he had had to leave already. He had promised the pair that they were only staying for two months, unless they chose to stay after their trial period was finished. But, until then, they were getting the house renovated... so long as their mother didn't get in the way that much. The pair had inherited her habit of dismantling different parts of the house when she was nervous.

Doom was sitting next to her sister, the twin's tails were intertwined between them, for the moment. In her hands was an old pocket-watch she'd begun to dismantle. She was just as nervous as her sister, she was just doing a better job at hiding it. Although, next to her were the parts of a dismantled pen, computer speaker, and megaphone; three of the many, rather random, objects they'd brought with them to play with so they didn't steal to much. Daddy had told them to be good.

Love looked down the hall, her large, green, unblinking eyes still watering somewhat. "Doomie..." she said, looking around for anyone else, "Love is scared." Neither girl had been away from either parent for more than a few hours before, and they were still technically only eight months old. Their family, at least on their mother's side, developed quickly and lived long, but neither girl was very mentally mature yet, that was why they were there. Doom was just that kind of immature where she thought she was mature, like the eight year old that wants to sit at the grown ups table.

Doom sighed. She hated being called that, but Love ignored her, or forgot, whenever she said so. "I know Love," she said quietly. They hadn't met anyone yet, everyone else had been a little to intimidated by their giant father wrapped in black cloth when they arrived. She tossed the last gear of the watch aside, pulling a graphing calculator out of the bag and starting to dismantle it too.

{{Cool posts you two! biggrin }}

Ever gasped as she heard a knocking on her door and some voice she didn't recognize asking her if she was ok.

She sniffed a few times and frantically wiped at her cheeks and eyes sat up in bed.

Without rising from her bed, she called out. "I'm... I'm fine. Thank you for checking."

The voice that came from within the room chocked Vanessa badly. There was something about it... and as she thought, something moved within her. "s**t!" she cursed, ripping open her backpack and pulling out a small bottle of aspirin. She fumbled with the child-proof cap, (Worst. Invention. Ever), and spilled about five into her hand. Grabbing her water, she swallowed them all, and in a few seconds, her trembling stopped. Crisis averted. "Uh... ok," she rasped, swallowing some more water to get the icky medicine taste off the back of her throat. She needed to see Ari.

"Uh, sorry to keep bothering you," she mumbled, "But do you know an Ari Franz?"

{{Sorry! I got completely turned around on where I was supposed to post. lol! And I love your avi, Rrine! It's so pretty, and I really love the hair!}}

Ever sighed but got up from the bed as the girl continued to talk. She wasn't frustrated at the girl. She was probably a visiting relative or friend. She was just frustrated at life right now.

She slowly opened her door and leaned her hip against the door jam casually.

"Yeah. Ari's three rooms down to the right, your left." She pointed in that direction.

She arched an eyebrow at the girl. She looked a little... off. "Are you okay?"

(Lol! It's ok, and thanks... I just kind of threw it together 8D)

"Yeah... I'm fine," she said, trying to quickly stash her aspirin. She wasn't addicted. Seriously, she wasn't. She had to take at least five, or the visions came. That's when things got ugly, especially recently. "Sorry... my name's Vanessa Block," she said with a nod, "I just transferred here from America."

Looking down the hall in the indicated direction, she could hear a lot of voices. "Is something going on?" she wondered aloud.

Ever held out her hand to shake Vanessa's. "I'm Evermore, but most people call me Ever. That's cool you're from the States. I've always wanted to visit..."

She looked down at the hall and saw a few people, including Akira and the headmistress, out in the hall. None of them looked too happy. She was curious as to what was going on, but not curious enough to go ask.

"I don't know what's going on down there, but that one is Headmistress Krause. You might want to go talk with her and then Ari."

She pointed at Krause, even though pointing was very unladylike.

Musica was listening to the Goddess speaking with the young girls, and felt she was slightly a bit too harsh with them. They were young, mistakes come with youth. Hell, they come with maturity too. "Easy there Miss Dite, give these girls a bit a slack eh? Oh, and hello Headmistress, I don't believe we've had the pleasure to meet yet." He got up, still dressed in the clothes Nikolaus manifested, and walked over to stand before her, but not too close to Ari herself. The boyfriend thing would just slide with him, unless brought up once more. Puffing on his cigarette, still sanitizing the air with his now free powers, he smiled his charming grin and introduced himself. "I'm Musica Brandt, the guy who works the coffee shop in town. You allowed me to come here and sell the girls coffee, though we never met face to face. I believe I was sent a letter ja?" He was still smiling, leaving his hands in his pockets. Just a little way for him to show he doesn't really feel her as his superior enough to keep his hands exposed. He was older than her anyway.

"The States are all right," she said with a smile. She took Ever's hand and shook it. The feeling reared again, even through the aspirin. This girl was important, and Vanessa had a feeling there was going to be some poem-writing and drawing later after the aspirin wore off. She quickly released Ever's hand. "P-people call me Ness," she wheezed. Looking back down the hall, she noticed Ari. Man@ She had gotten a bit taller since Ness had last seen her. "Huh," she gasped, "Looks like Ari's the one in trouble... she's there with another lady... who's that?" she asked, indicating Aphrodite, who was currently disguised as Aphira.

Ari watched Musica with sharp eyes. He seemed friendly, but there was something in the air... something a bit more tense. She looked to Aphira... erm, Aphrodite. She had a sinking feeling this wouldn't get her out of detention. She hoped Aphrodite would let her off... she couldn't be serious, right?

Ever looked at Vanessa oddly again. She pulled her hand back as if she had been burned. What was with this girl?

She looked at where Vanessa, Nessa, was pointing, and an immediate glare formed on her face. She spoke lowly. "That... is Miss DiTe, the guidance counselor. If I were you, I'd stay far away from her unless you want her all up in your business and spying on you all the damn time."

Despite the blistering migrane that was forming behind her eyes, Nessa stiffened. "I don't judge people before I meet them," she said coolly. As if God was against her, a sharp spike reared in her brain. Karma was a b***h. "Ahh!" Nessa yelped, fumbling in her backpack again. She pulled out a sketch pad and a pencil, and put the tip to the paper. Immediately, as if it had a mind of it's own, her hand jumped into motion. She didn't even bother to watch what she was doing... somehow, it turned out perfect every time. "Sorry," she muttered again as her hand zoomed around merrily. At least the headache was subsiding.
