"No no. She's not supposed to stalk you. That's the point. You never give her the kind of attention nature wants, you make her come get you for it." The pile of steel ever growing between all of them.
He rolled his own eyes again. "Hooray." Throwing in his steel before contemplating his cards some. "Raise five." Throwing in more steel and giving a sigh. Frustrating conversation some.
"And Kaelin knows how to work the system. That's good." Though she was quickly loosing patience with Faate's negative attitude on this all. "Same excuse, different wording, original response still stands: Don't know till you try."

A chuckle and matching the steel already on the table.
"but that's neither here nor there at the moment."
throwing the needed steel on the table, and smirking some.
"speaking of that subject though...come now, how was it with Kaelin on your honeymoon?"

Zykariel shook his head and tossed a piece of steel at his friend. "Don't be a sarcastic a**. We don't appreciate such things." Glancing at his cards and sighing before plopping them face down again. "Fold. I'm losing so much money right now."
Both of them have a point, Faate. You won't know how he'll react until you test the waters with him and you won't truly know how you feel about sex until you try it with someone that you really care about. You'll enjoy it. Trust me." Then over to Kaelin. "Same goes for you."
"I'm beginning to realize that. I suppose I really missed out by not being willing to do such things when I was on my honeymoon." Quieting for a moment. "Is that the purpose of it? I felt like I was missing something important. Why does a couple leave for a week right after their vows?"
She just wasn't going to win this, was she? Her mother was going to keep after her until she tried something with him and now she'd gotten her aunt and a newlywed involved, too. And Faate had no doubts that Kaelin was going to be just like her mother and her aunt once she finally did have sex. Then she'd have to deal with her floaty and happy and encouraging as well. "Fine. I'll talk to him and see how he feels. But if he makes it awkward or is horrified, it's off and I don't want to hear another word about it."

"Yes you do, you just pretend you don't." Shaking his head though as his friend again folded. "It's just not your night." And here they were back to the stupid sex question. He gave a nonchalant shrug though to the matter as well as a glance at Zykariel. He was his wing man and vice versa after all. Could use a little aversion help. "Well, nothing I would brag about. Too much anyway."
"Pretty much yes, that's one of the things a honeymoon is for. Get away from every living thing and just be alone together and enjoy each other's company in the various ways that such things can be done." Faate was still being obstinate however. "You do know Faate that when you act like that you come off as nothing but frigid."

"I don't usually kiss and tell, but I did meet a woman who looks disturbingly like my mother. She found the fact that we have the same color eyes stimulatingly sexy. I found it creepy beyond belief." He took another sip of his drink and leaned back in his chair, warming up for the rest of the story. "Of course I didn't tell her that. I did tell her that she reminded me of my mother and it would be strange for me to sleep with her given that. But even that didn't stop her. She got more excited and started talking about being an older woman and how that was such a turn on for her. She actually called herself a MILF. I thought my jaw was going to disintegrate, it hit the ground so hard." Not his best distraction story but he was half tipsy and Khai had needed help fast.
"But we didn't do any of that."
Zahara smirked, "Maybe you need a second honeymoon."
"Can you do that?"
"Of course you can. Sevilin and I have had....five? now."
Kaelin's eyes got rather big. "And you have sex the whole time?"
"Not the whole time but a good portion of it. It's a chance for us to go away from the kids and stress of life and just be together. Sometimes we find ourselves drifting apart and that helps us reconnect. Other times we've just fought way too much to be healthy and that allows us to seriously talk. Besides, my husband was anti-sex when we got together. We should have had a lot more honeymoons than that. Piper had one in the lake every time I turned around."
Faate stiffened immediately. "I am not frigid. Just because I'm not a slut doesn't mean I'm frigid." Getting herself up and walking out.

"When your new wife doesn't like you sharing details, it does. We don't all go around talking about how long we can make our wives lose their voices for a few days." Poking back before Zykariel managed to take all the attention...which was a good thing. "Wow, just wow."
"That's almost as disturbing as the time Lyssie was going around pretending to be your mother." Shaking his head at that and looking his cards over once more. "Sounds like having sex with a mirror. And there are several things wrong with that."
"I don't even want to think about mom like that..."
"And now she will endeavour to not be frigid. Mission accomplished. I'm so devious." Piper gave herself a little pat on the back and a chcukle, turning her attention back to the other two. "Eight Zahara. And my life is just stressful, I deseve lots of honeymoon like situations whenever I want however I want. He owes me for making me fat with life."

"I know all about that Zykariel. How do you think she found you in the first place. She sent me letter after letter, after letter asking about the 'sexy champion racer' that my son sponsored. because apparently my son makes it hard for those kind of letters to get to him."

"Because fans who write letters are generally creepy. Like her. Malikhai and I have an agreement about that sort of thing." He was intensely creeped out by the thought of sex with a mirror and didn't quite want to go into how that made him feel. "My sister has serious issues and no, Kit, you really don't want to think about mom like that. And you really don't want to see her like that, either." Thus attention back to the game. "Dad, your call or bet."
"I'm glad you feel sufficient, Piper. I just hope it doesn't backfire and make her even more frigid." She was rather amused by the frank talk which was the way things always went between them but Kaelin was new to the scene and she was looking at them with mixed emotions.
Yes, Kaelin was a bit uncomfortable but she was also a bit intrigued. "Eight? And you've had five?" She was beginning to wonder just what it was that she'd missed out on. "How do I approach Khai about it? I already made him feel like he was some kind of sick elf for even suggesting it. Can I just suddenly change my mind?"
She was extremely upset and when she was feeling this way she went to two people: her father and Mykorian. Daddy was busy with boy's night and she knew that the invitation didn't extend to Mykorian so she showed up at his front door, blinking back tears and knocking rather loudly. "Myk?"

"Gee thanks for circumventing my hard work dad. I'm responsible for keeping the crazy ones away from him. He'll get involved with one of those and the next thing you know, he gets shanked in the kidney because he doesn't want an involved relationship with her and she thinks that she's just the girl meant to be with him forever."
"It's not an interesting concept. I personally think it would be boring." Plopping his cards on the table, showing two pairs.
"She gets anymore frigid and she's not even going to have any friends. She just needs to get over her comparison issues. Sooner those goes away the better. I had them, got rid of them, happier for it. " A chuckle though to Kaelin, "Men like to think that they come up with all the good ideas. You have to drop hints about what you want without ever really telling them. The proper idea works into their head and they approach you with it, proud that they came up with something that makes you happy. Or drug them."
He was being lazy, as was his normal thing when he wasn't working for Malik these days. He hadn't really changed much over the years either save for putting on another few inches and socializing a bit more. He got himself up from the hammock he had stretched in his living room, not really having a large place at all as it was just him and liked it that way, he went to the door and pulled it open with a confused look. Uh oh she looked upset. Stepping aside he motioned her to come in. "What's wrong Faate?"

"Getting four letters a day every day was becoming a major interference with my work. Quite frankly by the way they were worded I thought she was some barely teenage spunky little girl that would probably pass out if she actually did get close to him. I found out the details later."
a slight grin at Zykariel.
"That's the kind of woman he needs anyway. someone that'll threaten his life if he strays. only way to keep him in the corral, so to speak."
showing his cards, also two pair. but one pair just beat out sevilin.
"Yay, I might actually break even again Mr. Flush on first hand."

You can all go home to your happy wives and lives. I'm just fine." Shaking his head and collecting his folded cards. "Depends on what Malikhai and Kit have."
"I would ease him into it. He probably can't keep his hands off you, but you won't let him go far enough to really satisfy him. So if you start cuddling with him, he'll begin moving towards sex and then wait for you to stop him and yank him back. Don't stop him. Let him ease into it and be open to it. Chances are, if you don't stiffen up, he'll slide right in and not even realize he has. If that doesn't work there's always candles."
"I think I can do that. In our relationship, though, it seems like Khai comes up with all the ideas. It was his idea for me to move in, his idea to get married, and his idea to have sex. I wanted it too, I just thought it was more civilized."
Zahara snorted. "What fun would it be if it was civilized? Piper and Malik claw at each other and Sevilin and I roll all over the bed. We barely have sheets still on it when we're going at each other. And that's when we make it to the bed. The other day he popped me up on the counter and began. I was so shocked, I think I had more fun than I've had in a loooong time."
"Girl's night. My mom and my aunt are all over me about sex." Shaking her head and plopping in his hammock. "Mykorian, am I frigid?"

"The world would end if he did that." Laying down his own cards, which he had a crap hand. "I should have folded when I had the chance." Shaking his head and leaning back in his chair.
"Be happy, you know I usually only have one big hand a night and if I start out with it that means you don't have to worry about it later." Smirking and looking to Kit.
He looked confused for a moment before he put down his cards on the table. "Um, I don't know if what I have is good?" In truth he had a very good hand.
"That's because of the men thinking it's all their idea thing. Besides, you're still coming into yourself and I'm sure you'll come up with more ideas the more stable and settled life gets." Rolling her eyes at Zahara though, "You're easily pleased at the same time, or to be more exact whenever he voluntarily shows interest without prompt." Chuckling and looking to Kaelin, "Sev's a bit of a nutcase."
"Oh, and I guess the guys are hanging out." Sometimes it sucked to be excluded but he knew he was no part of either family, he just worked for them. "Um, when you don't want anyone to bother you, you can act that way to keep people away from you." Which was pretty often but he wasn't exactly going to tell her that. He just wasn't going to all out lie to her either.

Taking another drink though and tossing his cards toward his son who was next in line for playing dealer.
"and you say that now, Zykariel. but just wait...variety is nice but there just comes a time when you want to not have to worry about some things. Course for me that took about eight hundred years, but hey."

"Eight hundred years of freedom. And that's assuming that there's a woman alive who will put up with me for longer than a few weeks at a time. I'm pretty much convinced she doesn't exist." Shaking his head and then slapping his brother's back, gently. "You won, Kit. I think that means you deserve a drink." Pouring him a shot of liquor and handing it over. 'Shut up, Dad. You're the cool, laid-back one, remember?"
"First I think we just need to have sex. Then we'll see where things go from there."
"I like your style, Kae, and to celebrate," She stood up and pulled out three glasses. "We're having some delicious drinks because Kaelin is an independent woman, or soon to be, and my daughter will stop being frigid." Pouring and mixing, she dumped the concoction into three glasses and passed them around. "Drink up, ladies."
Faate stared at Mykorian for a moment and frowned. "So I am frigid. That's what you're saying to me. You who have known me for so many years...and you think I'm frigid, too." Shaking her head. "You know, I'll have you know that if I am frigid, it's because of you."
