She suddenly felt like she'd been sucker punched. "What?" Elves actually...did that? Like horses? She didn't understand. It just didn't make any sense at all. Piper didn't seem upset or horrified or anything else though so she must be right. "But what about that strange feeling I get where my head fogs up and I don't know what to say or do? That isn't normal, right? I don't know what he's doing to me and that scares me... I used to get that feeling when my mother was smacking me around. But Khai wouldn't do that."
"Nope, that's just what first attracted me to you and part of what has kept me with you all these years. And before you say anything, you've enjoyed the way I looked too. Mostly when I'm pregnant and fat which I'll never understand, but you have." She tumbled back onto the bed and giggled then propped her feet on his chest. "Good. I like to know everything there is to know about you. It's important for our marriage."

"I understand that. It's full of memories I'd rather not remember too but that happens everywhere and you can't just get up and move everytime memories get to you. Never settle down that way." Thinking for a moment on his father's advice. "Bet if I find her something to paint down here she'd understand better." Glowing moss and rocks could be just as enchanting as any sky of stars, in his opinion. "Nope, have everything under control. I'm the oldest remember? You're supposed to worry the least about me."
Oh so that was what this was about and why there were problems steming from it all. Well, it all made sense then when she had put it that way and had dug up the root of the problem. "No Kaelin, those aren't the same feelings. They're normal but not the same." She was pretty sure at least but could see how they may seem the same. "When you're hurting it's normal for your head to fog in a way to get you away from the pain and everything that's going on. But pleasure brings on a different fog of sorts. You mind isn't trying to escape everything, it's trying to immerse in everything that's happening, everything you're feeling. It's a little scary at first but if you just let that feeling happen, you'd find it's quite wonderful and nothing like you think it's going to be. Believe me, I've been there with Malik."
"I've never denied enjoying your looks. It's mine I'm not fond of." Though since his had changed with a scar he was more easy going about them. He merely smiled as he watched her in her child like enjoyment. It was nice to have these kinds of moments that he could sit back, enjoy and appreciate. Taking one of her feet in his hands, he let his thumbs massage at the sole of it. "For our marriage and for our tiffs. We have to know how to get around each other after all."

Malik smirked lightly.
"I do worry about you the least. your brother on the other hand I'm about to chain in his room at night if he won't stay out of my vaults. And I'm getting rather sick of his attitude with his sister. Granted things have been rather...bad between me and her, but she is still my daughter, not his."
giving a light frown at that.
"I'm about ready to send him on an extended vacation to his grandparents to let it sink in that his sister doesn't need him as much as he thinks she does."

She was still afraid but trusted Piper to know what she was talking about. And truthfully, she was feeling a bit stupid since she'd reacted so badly to Malikhai and he hadn't done anything wrong. "I suppose that explains why he's hesitant to touch me, doesn't it?" She leaned forward and rested her elbows on her knees then sighed. "How will I know what to do? I didn't even know that's how it worked... Is he really mad at me, do you think?"
"But you enjoy my giving and sweet personality so much more." Giving him a grin and then leaning back on her elbows while his massage relaxed her. "I certainly know how to get around you," she said with a wicked smile, lifting her other foot and resting it on his shoulder where she could easily use her toes to stroke his ear. "Anywhere, anytime, it's failproof."

"You know how he is...lazy and unable to stay still at the same time. He's been gods-awful restless lately." But he gave a light sigh, knowing how the whole issue really did bother his father. He did care for Savryn, it was just hard for him to look at her and firstly not see his mother in her looks and secondly not see what he almost lost. "Dhairiss just doesn't understand as much as mom and I do on how you feel about it all. You cuddled us a lot and so forth. We were always sitting on you and clinging to your legs and following you around. He sees that you don't do that as much with Savryn and I guess he just thinks she needs the same treatment and someone needs to do it while he also neglects the fact that mom and Savvy are practically joined at the hip." Which was cute.
"I don't think it's so much about her needing him. I think he's more scared of how things may change if he's not there to supervise or that she won't get as much as she could when he's around. He's always putting something into her hands and what not that makes her smile all the time as she figures out something new that's in reality old to her, she just has to relearn it."
"Mhm, men also tend to learn simply as well sometimes. Fire, hot, don't touch. Kaelin, scared, don't touch. It works in his head." Smiling some and allowing herself a soft laugh. "Kaelin, no body knows what to do really. Everyone learns by instinct and experience and curiosity, those with experience teach others they come into contact with. These things come in time, don't stress over it." Tilting her head at the other young elf though, "I don't think mad would be the right word. Maybe frustrated because he's upset you and there's really no way for him to fix that or know what's okay. Men can also be very insecure creatures."
"Sweet and giving, sure you are. Is that what you called cramming food into me when I wouldn't eat?" It was indeed nice to be comfortable with picking at himself. One hand moved however to grab her by her ankle, pressing a kiss to the inside of her leg just above his hand. "You don't want me to pull a Piper and start binding my ears back now do you?"

That was a relief. Piper was taking this much better than Kaelin would have thought had their positions been reversed. After all, she'd insinuated that her son was deranged and animalistic. And in reality, Kaelin was just naive. Well, perhaps she could make things better between her and Malikhai later on. "He probably thinks I'm the stupidest elf on the plane. I've heard little elves talking about sex before and they all seemed so knowledgeable. I just can't believe elves do it like horses do." And then another thought struck her. "Is that how women get pregnant, too?"
"Yes. My giving nature gave you food and I was sweet enough to keep you from wasting away to nothing." She jerked as his fingers encircled her thin ankle and she pointed her toes then dropped back down to the coverlet, letting her elbows collapse beneath her. "Bandannas aren't really you, Raven. I'd just have to rip it off and tease you with it. Now be honest, you love it when I touch your ears."

"He got a case of wanderlust, I see it in his eyes. the same look your mother had when she'd drag me to who-knows-where because who-knows-why. and he'll never learn. She may not be the one I'm closest to but that don't mean I don't love my children. and your brother should know that without looking to test my patience with him every chance he gets about it."

"I never said he thinks you don't love her. Just maybe that you don't love her enough by the set standards he knows." Sometimes he thought it too, but he always sat himself down and reminded himself how things really were. If Malik didn't feel any love for his daughter, he would have nothing to do with her. He shook his head, "Wanderlust, I thought that meant you couldn't help but go off, no matter what was there trying to hold you down." His brother was of course odd however. He had never seemed to grow out of that. "Maybe he'll start realizing that with what you're trying to help her with now. After all, you did all you could for his heart and he's far better off now than he was when he was younger. You know Dhair, he's the sensitive one that needs to know all is right in the world before he can enjoy it."
"He's more reasonable that than and knows what you've been through. I can guarentee that those little elves walked in on things they shouldn't see. Another good reason for privacy." Piper gave a single blink, realizing just how much they had to cover on such things adult related. "Yes but elves are more flexible. Take that in stride and yes, that's how women get pregnant. But no worries, there's potions for that. No worries, I'm sure Zahara and I can get you up to speed. Us women need a night to ourselves anyway."
"I wasn't wasting away to nothing. Exaggeration does not make you a better woman than you already are. Quit while you're ahead or I'll have to play silent teacher again." But he gave a defeated sigh of drama. "Fine. I love it when you touch my ears."

"Why didn't he just tell me that was how sex was done? It might have saved all this...awkwardness and we might have enjoyed ourselves a bit more in Andal. He's been steadily withdrawing from me and I don't like it one bit." And then something else clicked. "That's why he wants us to have our own house for privacy! And that's also why he was making jokes about such things at the wedding... Do you make noise during sex?" She wasn't quite sure how she felt knowing that someone else was going to know just how uninformed she was, but if Piper thought it was a good idea, well, who was she to argue?
"No, but you were teaching your impressionable young son bad habits." She couldn't help smiling when he gave in to her pressuring and she finally pushed herself back up, walking over to him on her knees. Reaching him, leaned down, cupped his cheeks and gave him a kiss that signaled surrender. He'd won and he knew it, too. "And I love you...and your sensitive ears."

"And you're not doing much to alleviate the aggrivation now are you?" Where did he think Dhairiss got his confrontational nature from? That's right. But it was back to Kaelin again? "I'm handling it." Why was that so damn important?
"Because men are also idiots. They let frustration often get the better of them. No worries, things will be better now." Smiling as things started to make sense to the girl and it was quite cute, though she did have to give a snicker snort at her question. "Lots of noise." Getting up she motioned Kaelin to follow as she pulled a linkstone from her pocket. "Zahara. Woman night." All she said before leading Kae back to the men. "Menfolk out of the house, go on shoo. Go stay with Sevilin or something, take Dhairiss with you on the way out."
"He ate more than I did." Letting her play nice however with the letting him win part. "I love you and all your flaws." Yes messing with her again but his attention turned to the linkstone that echoed Piper's voice off before going quiet and dull once more. "I can only imagine what that's going to be about..."

Things were happening far too quickly and Kaelin blinked for a moment and then stood up and began to follow her. She met her husband's gaze for a moment, her cheeks flushing and her eyes dropping once more. It was embarrassing to think about such things and her husband in that way. She felt almost like he could see right into her thoughts and knew how she was reacting to these things.
She was just getting involved in that kiss when the linkstone went off and she flopped back on her naked back, throwing a hand over her face in dramatic fashion. "Kaelin and Malikhai come back today..." Frowning as she thought it over and then stood up and ran water for a bath. Tugging him in, she washed herself and him and was dressed in almost no time at all. "You'll be entertaining the men, Raven. You can play that card game you tried to teach me that one time. The one that I can't play because I don't do math well." Plopping a kiss on her husband's cheek, she grabbed Faate and arrived at Twilight in record time.
Strolling in, she located Piper and gave her a grin. "I brought Faate, too. I'm assuming the men will be at my house like they usually are so she gets to come here." Then seeing Kaelin, Zahara gave her a grin. "Back from the honeymoon, I see. So, what's this about?"
He was heading to Twilight to drop off the candles he'd gotten from his father when he ran into his mother and discovered that he wasn't welcome at Twilight. And that meant that Malikhai was likely going to be at his house or his parent's house. He was betting on the latter and headed that way.

Malik gave a chuckle and got himself up, nodding to malikhai and kicking Dhairiss' boot on teh way through the atruim.
"Men to Inthara's house. your mother's decree."
before heading there and giving Sevilin a slight grin, and a shrug.
"So. any idea what sparked the sudden throwing all the menfolk out of the house?"

“Splendid.” He shook his head and got himself up, taking his sister inside before he had gone back out to follow over to the Inthara place, as that’s where they had been exiled. Not that he was excited about any of it but there was little he could do about it, unless he wanted to hang around outside.
He wasn’t going to complain as he knew that would get him trouble anyway. But sure enough it was pretty much all of them, save for Kelligrin but knowing that kid he was hiding under something stalking them.
He wasn’t sure about these kinds of nights. The women usually came up with a ton of ammunition for their use on various subjects. And yet they were used to these types of things. “No clue. Maybe one of them heard something good and now must share and use it against us.”
She patted Kaelin on the shoulder, leaving her for a moment to take Savryn up to her bed to let the little passed out elf lay down and rest. By the time she was through with that, Zahara was there and brought reinforcement as well…of the unexpected sort. “As a now married woman, Kaelin needs to learn all the fun little secrets that we know so that she may be just as happy as the rest of us. Now is as good a time as any.”

"Well Piper and Kaelin were having a long conversation before they booted us out, so I imagine it's something about the joys of marriage and how to keep your husband in check."
smirking lightly and taking a seat.
"Seeing as this is apparently an improptu exile...anything in mind for entertainment? you know we never did throw one of those bachelor party things from Malikhai."
