Malik went down to teh breaker room that held Kaden, and opened the door. Brogg was in there, pounding on Kaden's strung up body with on of the breaker malllets, making a delightful squishing sound.
"Broog. leave us."
Broog stopped mid swing, and put the hamer down, and walked outside right by the door to wait. he wasn't nearly through. Kaden however..his body was sickly with streaks of green, pus from teh hooked would thanks to necromantic disease. every vien in his body was visible, and moving as thousands of the worms ate though them..and of course there was the smell of urine and blood on the floor. Kaden coudln't see, as the worms had eaten out the nerves behidn the eyes, the body just twitching with convulsions. Malvolence happy gorging itself on a never ending blood supply, which of course also made his muscles atrophy and gave him a more skeletal appearance.
"How is is going, Kaden? oh no need to talk...I think I can see that fairly well."
Malvolence was ripped out of him, forcing a scream, worms falling out of the open wound to crawl back in through the infected ones on his feet. then looked at the necromancer.
"Keep him alive."
And malik proceeded to skin Kaden alive, until the front hald of his body was skinless, despite any screaming or convulsions, and throwing that skin on teh floor, the worms squirming over it that hadn't burrowed deeper into the body.
"Regrow it. and feel free to use that as parchment. You can come in, Broog."
Malik left, dragging the skin behind him, and let Broog come back into the room, closing the door, and takign the skin down to his nercomancers to thier use, and then back upstairs and to the dinign room for something to eat.

Kieran was already in the dinning room, sitting at the table with fingers steeped together, looking as if he was thinking. Though a look up from his hands to Malik as he came in. No, Kieran wasn't with Piper at the moment surprisingly. And Malik got a rather hard look. "So what are you going to do with her Malik?" Oh Kieran was deadly serious about dragging her back to Andal if he had to.

"Angry?" They looked at each other as if this unheard of.
"We...ah..." they blushed.
Jaun cleared his throat. "We usually forget why we are angry at each other."
"So we each get to slap the other..."
"Then we say sorry,"
"And pat ech other on the back." Jaun shrugged. "There usually isnt a good reason to be angry. Well, except that time he stole my girlfriend. I got really mad at that."
"I made up for it though! I made the girl dump me."
"And then I was cool again. Don't worry jell, I'm not angry about that anymore."
What's done is done."
"Sorry's have been said."
"Why brood?"
"Right!"

Oh well that didn't help really. She didn't see the possibility of Malik and her slapping each other around then patting each other on the back and saying everything was all right. That's what she got for trying to ask kid like logic. But again they did have thier little point in there. Piper pulled her knees up to her chest, arms wrapping around her legs as she rested her chin on her knees. It hurt to be in such a position, but she didn't care...just wanted to curl up and hope this all would go away. A few more tears slipped down from dull eyes at her own thoughts for a moment. "I gave in...it's hard to let myself back out..."

"I intend to keep her with me. to build her confidence back and to make her Piper again."
He got a few pastries, sone of those cinnamon apples Piper liked, and a couple peices of meat.
"It's all I can do, Kieran. I'm not going to just give up on her. I can't do that, any more than she would let someone take her collar off her."
He started eating, nevermind the blood on his clothing from skinning Kaden.

Jell's lower lip trembled, and Jaun patted him on the back. Then he reached out and patted Piper on the shoulder.
"You were being totured."
"Of course you gave in."
"No one can stand up to that...not even us."
"But you can't tihnk that you deserved it."
"No one does. Not even a little bit."
Jell crawled up on the bed, kneeled on one side of Piper, looked dow at her. "It;s oaky uo be frightened though."
"Yeah, that's not bad either."
"Who wouldn't be scared?"
Jaun laid his head down on the bed in one arm, petting Piper's hair with the other. "No one expectes you to come out unharmed!"
"I'd be more scared if you didn't feel frightened."
"But we can't let the mean people win, can we?"
"Fight's not over. If you give in now, then he wins."
"Where do we get this sutff brother? It's good!"
"We should write a book."
"We'd be rich!"

Personally he didn't want to ask about th eblood on Malik. Kiearn ahd a fairly well idea to what caused the elf to get blood on himself. He hoped Kaden squirmed in pain of every moment too. But all he did was sigh slightly, running a hand through his hair and leanign back in the chair, drumming his fingers on the table. "She just needs time..." Perhaps he understood a little better than Malik did, because he knew Kaden before hand. "Kaden was her best friend...he protected her. And now he's turned on her over something that he feels she did to him. I don't doubt she has it in her head that people can easily turn on her now. Even me and you." Blunt truth. But he was glad at Malik's answer...at least still with Malik he could try to bring her back. Kieran didn't want to take her back to Andal, didn't want to do that to hre and lock her up as she once feared would happen to her before.
Piper jerked and flicnhed from thier touchign and petting, and scooted back from them both some. It was like she couldn't stand to be touched at all really. Hell, she didn't want her own hands touching her. But they were an odd little comfort in their own words. Though it was ood. Malik and Kieran could say the same things and she would jsut look through them and deny it all. Maybe it was because she felt she left them both down with her own foolish ways. It was hard...she wanted Malik around because she knew she was safe with him around yet didn't want him around so he could see her in a broken state. It hurt to have him look at her in a pained way. Double edged sword really. "I just don't think I'm ready to start fighting again yet..."

Jaun drew back has hand, unoffended. He smiled at her, one that reached his eyes. "Well golly! Aren't you lucky then?"
Jell put hands on his hips. "I'd say she is! Wow," he pumped a fist. "You have all those peopole fighting for you!"
"Isn't that the greates part of having a friend?"
"When your down, they pick you up!"
"They fight your fights!"
"Gosh, I wish I had someone that would do that for me!"
"Silly, you do! Remeber when that wizard caught you, back on Gorknack?"
"Oh right! I was sad for days! It's not easy to catch an imp. I felt like I wasn't doing my job."
"And I brought you shoes, and then afterwards, we practiced how to stay out of a wizards magic!"
"Wow, was that ever a great time!"
"The crazy angry man fought for you. And he's still fighting!"
"Yeah, yeah, so that you can relax a bit, and heal some!"
"You sure are likeable, Piper!"
"Yeah. We like you!"

They were so freaking happy and optimistic. Almost tangible like you could bottle it and sell it on the market. Bet that would make a pretty chunk of change for your pocket. They, like Malik and Kieran before them were trying to get her to see that she just had to let go. She thought she was strong because she could hold on, but she knew that true strength was in letting go. But the thought of letting it all go made her feel so vulnerable. Her eyes focused on the red and silver strands that crowded around her face at the moment. Both hands took hold to her collar. "I'll try..."

"You don't have to try too hard to soon!"
"Straining gives you a headace!"
"Well, that's just any time Jell tries to think."
"Yeah...sorry about that."
The brothers sat on the end of the bed together, jell threw an arm around jaun and they smiled. "Things take time. No one expefcts you to be all happy and go get um tomorrow. Or the next day."
Jell nodded. "Yeah, yeah! Cause healing to fast doesn't work either!"
"Just like if your muscle heals to fast, it grows overtop of other muslces, making them usless!"
"Wow Jaun! How did you know that?"
"I read a medical journal! It was the only sentence that I understood!"
"Awesome!" There was a high five after this little bit.
They smiled again, and it was quite clear that they planned on staying for a while. "I think I like it here, Jell."
"As do I Jaun! Piper is great company, even when she's on the mend!"

"Time is something we have in a great abundance."
He kept eating, before pushing the plate aside.
"She should know better...that elf was out of his mind. and still is. I wouldn't turn on her....or do anything to hurt her."
Then a shake of his head lightly.
"What are we going to do, Kieran? Do you know somethign to help more than just waiting for her to either come back or collapse completely?"

"You two are smarter than you let on you know that?" Sure, her voice was still flat, her emotion still lack and her eyes still dull...but at least she wasn't just crying and curled up in a ball wishing the world would go away. she figured she was on the mend right now...as long as no one touched her. Right now the idea of someone touching her just didn't sit well at all. She was great company? Probably because she tolerated. "Don't make Malik mad by him catching you in here and not first knowing you're here." She couldn't' stand to here him yell right now either.
"Minds war with themselves. They want to move on yet are afraid of what happens when they take those steps." He had to agree with Malik though, it was a rather frustrating thing, wasn't it? Quiet for a moment. "Well...I've seen my fair share of broken souls. Either you must let them hit bottom first or someway you ease them back which is a trying thing. I'd say we have to play by her rules and find a sense of normalcy and constant for her. Get her to respond to thinks like she does about her collar."

"I think she did!"
The hurraghed, because this seemed like a breakthrough for them or something. "Wow, no one has ever alled us smart!"
"Now I can open up a thearpy place! Where they sit you on a chair and say, "So, tell me about your father!"
The flashed mischievious grins. "If the door opens, we'll just phase onto the ceiling. We were there the whole time! And the angry amn never saw us!"
"I still wonder what he keeps in is hair. Why would you have so long, if not to stroe things?"
"I bet it's hair clips!"
"I bet it's a rat monster that sprays people with acid!"
"Oh-my-god! That would rock! I change my bet!"
Jaun took on an innocent look. "Maybe he'll like us this time."

And lord, she just gave them ambitions. Oh well, it would keep them busy in their spare time between eating whatever and causing whatever else trouble. A sigh from her as she laid back, slightly curled up under the covers. "It looks nice long, and he keeps his head in it." Crazy little things...they were good to keep a wandering mind focused to say the least. Her mind briefly went to Serino...was he mad at her too? After all, she treated him quite badly and she hadn't know what happened to him after wards when Kaden got a hold of her.

Jell gasped. "His head! Why didn't I think of that?"
"Awe man, I wanted to see an acid spitting rat."
"Who would have guessed that a head was hiding underneath all that hair?"
"Wow."
"Unbelievable."
"Hey Jaun! Want know what I've been keeping in my hair?"
"Sure!"
Jell reached into his hari and dug arouned a littel bit. He pulled out something small and white. "Tah-dah! That elf that angry amn was dragging dropped it! So i picked it up for him! I wonder if I can give it back sometime?"
The little white object...it was Terran's tooth.
