Cadow: They allow women in the army here in the USA, in fact if/when the draft is instated for the wars going on now, women will be included in the draft. A DADT (don't ask don't tell) policy pretty much reigns supreme as far as sexuality goes. my best friend is bi and he joined the army, and he said that he's not allowed to participate in any gay rights activist groups or anything. Nekenshi, I don't think it's any practical reason, it's just good ol' fashioned fascism.
