I have to walk off-sidewalk pretty much anywhere I go... and dash through scary christmas traffic, but I'm still intact. Anyhow, its a money saver for me. When I do get a car though, it will be a $500 hunk of junk that I have to work on and still breaks down in a couple years. Replace, repeat.

You'll learn the hard way that you'll sink so much money into fixing it that you can get a decent used car...my brother found that out the hard way.

We have different standards of fixed no doubt though. If it runs, I'm happy. I dont go anywhere for practically anything, so all I've got to do is keep a few parts in barely working order. I've done something like it before already.

Hey I have no problem with a car only taking me from point a to point b, but i would like to know that its not going to die on me.

I NEED a car. Otherwise I wouldn't have one most likely...I don't go many places. So yes, I must deal with gas and insurance and all that crap...oh the horror.

uhhh, I am so fuming mad at this point I can't even stand it, I had taken the time to write for nearly an hour, and then when I go and post the damn thing Gaia logs me off, why, why, why, all that effort for nothing. Man and it was good, too, not to tout my own or anything. Sometimes this place can be really frustrating.

Its because when you are on the same page for that long, it thinks you arent doing anything and idles you off. Hit the remember me button when logging in to keep that problem to a minimum, and copy your posts before you submit them. Thats all I can say, We've all been there.
