That would be an amazing experience. I've never been out of country.
I honestly like living in California, though I don't really like the town I currently live in.
It's funny, I live in one of those stereotypical small towns in central California filled with stereotypical valley girls. =D

I'm the only person at my school who is an anime nerd. Some watch anime and understand what it is, but most only watch Adult Swim anime, which really annoys me. It's not the fact that they watch it on Adult Swim that annoy me, some people only have that as a resource, but if that's all they know about anime and believe they have a better knowledge and understanding than me irritates me. stressed
Manga is often reffered to as "Chinese comic books that you read backwards." stare
I rarely ever travel out of state, but we do take day trips to big cities in California and such. I like going to the beach and San Fransisco. whee

Yeah, I COMPLETLY understand the adult swim thing. Most of the animes that get put on Cartoon network either get butchered by the censers *Cough* One Piece *Cough* Or the anime gets butchered by the fanbase to the point where you get sick of hearing about it. (FMA, Naruto, and now Bleach is getting there. But I am not letting go of bleach! gonk )
I myself am into the less nonmainstream animes, like Haibane Renmai, Mujin Wakusei survive, and Fate: Stay Night. Not because they arent mainstream, but because they're great.

I do find crazed fans annoying, but that doesn't change my opinion on the anime. It's either a good anime or not. Same with alot of dubs that annoy me. It's not like the thing that you liked about the anime is not there anymore.
I have a fair share of favorite mainstream and non-mainstream animes. 3nodding
Ouran Koukou Host Club [more commonly known as "Ouran High School Host Club"], Pita Ten, Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE, Fruits Basket, D.N.Angel, xxxHolic, Rurouni Kenshin [and Samurai X], Naruto, Full Moon wo Sagashite, Air Gear [only gotten into the first four episodes], and Kamichama Karin.
I've seen alot more animes, but those are the ones that clicked. I'ma sucker for cutesy animes.. >w>;;
My friend is trying to get me to watch Gokujou Seitokai [more commonly known as "Best Student Council"].. but I'm too lazy. gonk I've watched the first couple episodes, though.
He said the main character reminded him of me. What's saddening is.. she's a total klutz. gonk

I live in a super small hicktown in TN...Very very very small...Our school is k-12 and there is only like 60 people in 8th grade..There are only about maybe ten people in the whole school who watch anime...Everyone else doesn't understand it and think its stupid..
The only TV channel I have is adult swim for anime O_o
But I watch other animes on youtube..
I might be switching over to dish and getting anime network, but that would kill my internet so I think Ill stick with charter sweatdrop

The only TV anime I know is Adult Swim [besides Cartoon Network.. which is on the same channel].
But I watch all of my anime on YouTube. :B

Yeah, I use youtube, too.
My parents got IO, but they won't let me get Anime network or the korean chanel :dies:
Most people in my school are overly anime freaks and it pisses me off cuz they think they're so much cooler than everyone else that watches anime or reads manga.

Yeah, people like that annoy me too. I consider myself a hard core anime watcher, but I don't rub it into anyone, or look down on them. Everyone has their own levels of everything.

I like to keep my anime obsession and school separate. Manga serves as a refuge from the world for me [as does online], so it would d of ruin it if everybody peered over my shoulder and asked me for the fifth time how you're supposed to read it properly, and why their eyes take up half the size of their head, or why that one kid with blonde hair has "whiskers" [Naruto].
I do like to express my obsession online sometimes, though. xD;

Animes I watch: Inuyasha
I used to be a huge inuyasha fan until they gave it that sucky ending stare
Case closed, OHSHC, Rozen Maiden, Naruto, Bleach, Trinity Blood, DN Angel, .hack//, Pita ten,Elfen lied,Fruit Basket, and Death note are my major ones.
I LOVE DEATH NOTE!!!
I'm a Death note freak...My best friend had to tell me to shut up cause I kept talking about it xD

Oh, and i'll watch anything xD
However, the kids at my school don't bother to ask; they pretty much all know about it. I mean, they still ask things like the eyes and whiskers, but not a lot.
Most of my school is asian[30-50%? Iunno, something along those lines], so they're used to seeing things like Manga.
It's just the white kids [no offense to anyone >>'' and if it does offend someone, i'm REALLYYY SORRY. ] that are COMPLETELY obsessed that you worry about. They come in with like, the naruto headbands and everything, and then if you go up to them and are like 'heyyy, that's such a good anime/manga, right?!' trying to start a convo, they'll look, glare, roll their eyes and start walking away or ignore you. it's such B.S.
