He was getting close, but Lewis also noticed a flash of teal headed his way. Brilliant. Seb was on the chase. As much as he didn't want to hurt his friend, he wanted to win the game. He just had to prepare himself and do what he did best.

From his vantage at the end of the pitch it was difficult to tell how the match was actually going, although since the Chasers spent much of their time somewhere in the middle of the pitch, he figured it wasn't going too badly. All of a sudden, Tambry was speeding towards him, and he needed to do his job ...
.... and her shot sailed into the goals as though he wasn't even there. Finn collected the Quaffle, and tossed it off to Roxie.

Taking the snitch in hand, Lewis finally released the heavy exhale in his chest. Despite being glad they'd won, he knew it would absolutely crush the Gryffindor team. But, he still lifted his hand high to showcase the victory. "I caught it!" And as soon as the words left out, the whistle chirped to signal the end of the game. Before he could turn back to his cyan-haired friend, Seb was already halfway out the gates. Well. That wasn't good. But Lewis landed with his teammates, figuring they needed him present as well. For now, he'd be where he was needed.

Csuri walked onto the pitch, feeling none-too-confident, as this was their final game. They would need four goals and the snitch to win the season. The issue with that was trying to stall Lewis, who'd proven himself to be an incredibly competent Seeker. And she had already lost a game. The worst part was, if she failed to secure the snitch, there was a very real chance Slytherin would find themselves at the bottom of the stack ranking.
She was gnawing on her fingernails, grey eyes flitting back and forth as her brain spiraled into thoughts. She needed to figure out how to win, but only after stalling Lewis long enough for the Chasers to push through.

Lewis strode out onto the pitch, whistling a song stuck in his head. This was his final game, sure, but he'd been recruited to Montrose, just like his great aunt, great-godfather (was that a thing?), and his dad. It was super cool to know he'd be living on the family legacy. From here it would just be a stressful few weeks with the Showcase, then with NEWTs, then with graduation. From there, he'd be getting ready to jump into pro quidditch full time. But if rumor served correctly, Yarrick had also been recruited to the pros, but on the same team her older brother had been. Either way, it proved Ravenclaw was elite. And so long as they could prevent Slytherin from getting several goals, Ravenclaw would win. Sure, he had every intention of catching the snitch to secure a perfect record, but he was confident that Ravenclaw would get their threepeat. It would be awesome.

Tambry was super excited for today. She was getting to play on a truly lovely spring day, alongside a lot of her friends. It'd be the last game with two of them, Yarrick and Lewis, but why not go out with a bang? Slytherin needed a fair few goals, so Tambry, Lily, and Naomi had the job of trying to stop that from happening. With help from the beaters, Erykah being on point about blocking goals, and Lewis doing what he'd been doing best, there were pretty good odds of Ravenclaw hoisting the cup high this year. Her curls bobbed in their ponytail as she skipped onto the pitch, looking every bit as excited as she felt.
