Anyway I wonder how the judges would feel about scores being shared.

Well considering i won't be receiving a score, i guess my only option is to share my wiener!
And sharing is caring!!! Therefor how can i deny you all the opportunity of a lifetime!
---- On the subject of the scores being posted, If the judges are confident and stand by their scoring system they shouldn't object people choosing to post their own scores.

I doubt they will object to people showing their own score... not much they can do in the way of that.
However... it's generally a bad idea because people will QQ at them.
This is usually they ones who feel jaded in some way and don't know how to STFU.
As long as people swallow it with no complaints... by all means share.

The scores will be public. The comments will be private. You're allowed to make your comments public if you want. We just try to save people the shame of their comments. However, I often wonder if making comments public, too, isn't such a bad idea.

Vintrict The scores will be public. The comments will be private. You're allowed to make your comments public if you want. We just try to save people the shame of their comments. However, I often wonder if making comments public, too, isn't such a bad idea. In the grand scheme of things, we can all recognize each other's relative skill level, and we can all see the big issues when they show up in the help or we get ooc crazy like we've been. So honestly, in my opinion, making comments public simply gives the lazy people quicker access to information that they can only use to better themselves.
I'd like to think the people the negative comments are directed to, if they're of any "controversial" or extreme nature are already aware and either content or simply understand they messed up. In that light, I don't see much a reason to keep them private other than some misguided personal preferences.

Vintrict It would save us from having to PM everyone. Maybe open a poll and if we get 70% or so in favor just open a thread and post grades there?Edit: Hell, most of us seem ok with public grading, so you could just post publicly and only have to pm those who ask you to send them privately.

The transparency might be a good thing, to be honest anyone unhappy with their grading is going to make a fuss and post the details anyway, this just preempts that, so if the judges are confident in their final decisions publicly posting them reinforces that.

Mostly impartial on the issue, although the comments I feel should probably be private to save any possible drama. Getting that pm from a judge can essentially be deemed like presents on Christmas whether its good or bad. Yay for public scores. Nay for public comments.
A poll isn't a bad idea either. Regardless that is my input on the whole thing, attempting to comprehend all of this from both sides of the spectrum.
