Corona Australis Junimaia Corona Australis Tracy looked around amazed at all the decorations for the feast she dreamily starts walking around to the Hufflepuff table still gazing around at all the decorations. She takes a seat down at the table next to another girl and just looks around.

Llenlleawg was glad that noone but the fellow Gryffindoor seemed to mention the 'furry problem'. He finished his goblet of pumkin juice and it refilled itself

Smartchick2007 Zoey watched as Cale was sorted, and was more nervous than ever. He was her only friend here, she didn't want to be seperated from her only friend. She waited for a while, and after some time, she heard, "McDaniels, Zoey," being called. She walked nervously up the stairs and sat on the stool. The hat was big, and the brim went over her eyes.
"Hmm, you seem to have a good mind, so Ravenclaw may be for you. But the loyalty in you is stronger, and you are just. So the house for you is...HUFFLEPUFF!" Zoey smiled as she heard the hat's decision. The Sorting hat was lifted from her head, and she slid off the stool and half-ran, half-jumped down the stairs. She hurried over to the Hufflepuff table and sat next to Cale. She turned her head towards him and smiled. "Hi. We're in the same house."
It was no use worrying about that now, as they had been placed together. Cale was happy, and the resentment he had carried towards his folks ebbed. Things were going his way, and he couldn't really complain.
After the sorting was complete, food appeared on the tables in front of him. He hadn't realized just how hungry he had been until just now. He loaded up his plate and, after uttering a short prayer, began to eat.
After he slaked his thirst and curbed his hunger some he turned to Zoey. "This is awesome." He swept his arm indicating the room around him. He chided himself inwardly for using American slang, though the room around him certainly inspired awe. He knew he couldn't hide the fact he was American, as his lack of accent, or presence of one from their eyes, would give him away, but he'd been trying to get himself accustomed to using the local words. He'd have to work on that.
He looked at Zoey questioningly. "So, once we're done eating, what then?"

"I know," she told him after his confession. She started taking slow bites of some of the wizarding type foods. Soon, she was shoveling the food in her mouth at an alarming pace. When Cale asked his question, she had her mouth full of chicken, so she swallowed before she answered.
"I don't know," she told him. "I think the teachers might say something after everyones done, and then we go to the common rooms." She put her fork down and looked at the deserts, until her gaze fell upon a plate of treacle tart. "What's that?"

Zoey saw that the desert got Cale's approval, so she took a piece then tried it. After chewing for a moment, she swallowed and took three more pieces. Zoey then looked at her plate. "I eat a lot," she said in awe. She took another bite of the treacle tart. "But this is too good not to eat."

Ann smiled slightly as she grabbed a goblet of pumpkin juice and drank it down. She knew she made the first year next to her freak out without meaning to. After she took a swig, she filled her plate with some food and treacle tarts and began to eat.

"I have a good feeling about this term," Alutian said conversationally, poking a heap of mashed potatoes with a spoon. "We might have a chance for the House cup if we can beat out the Gryffindors in classes. And quidditch! Can't forget quidditch."

Citty walks into the great hall, gazing at the enchanted ceiling. This being her first year at Hogwarts, everything threatens to be overwhelming. She quietly walks over to the Gryffindor table, and sits down to eat.
