Sevi Rais Wilhemina Sevi Rais Wilhemina I never had any of the smoking related items, but the news brings back memories of the Cigarette fake brain cancer scandal. xd I never had any of the cigs either but I have heard of that scandal through a flash animation. That was pretty funny. How did anyone find out she was lying? Through her friends, right? I think I just heard it through the grapevine while lurking in Q&F... Just pretty incredible to see a gal decked out in all the finest goods of the time (panda hat, kimono, chickie slippers), all parting gifts. Found the animation. http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/148494Also, I was looking at Aerion's profile. Wasn't he banned too? It says the account has been logged into recently... I find it pretty funny that more people remember Cycon for this than Cigarette. Also, I laughed for about 5 minutes about Paper Crane. Sorry about that, that has to suck. And yeah, Pyre, I'm not really on Gaia much but I'm here if you need me.

Wolffy - Thanks. Guess I should reinstall AIM? I wonder if they have a new version I can stomach yet. You know I'm still running the version from 98? Er... if I remembered to back it up. Too many bells and whistles, not enough functionality!

Too many bells and whistles, not enough functionality! Yeeeaaaah, that's why I started using Pidgin instead of the current version of AIM. It's so much simpler.

I am a stupid idiot. I just watched the youtube video of a song I don't even like, just to prove to my husband that it exists, and now it will be in my head all night asdkjskrdsd.

Hey Pasta Lady Pyre Wolffy - Thanks. Guess I should reinstall AIM? I wonder if they have a new version I can stomach yet. You know I'm still running the version from 98? Er... if I remembered to back it up. Too many bells and whistles, not enough functionality! Yeeeaaaah, that's why I started using Pidgin instead of the current version of AIM. It's so much simpler.Ya know, I've never tried any universal chat clients since the first version of Trillian. I thought it would be so awesome to be able to AIM and IRC from the same program! But it was a bitchy b***h and wouldn't actually send any of my messages. I had about an hour of "Why is everyone ignoring me?" before logging into AIM and finding out they just couldn't see anything I was typing. Stupid chest! Go away! I do not want what you offer!

All I use it for is AIM, but I know my boy uses it for AIM and a couple others...I don't think he's had any problems with it, seeing as he was the one who convinced me to try it out in the first place.
But the current version of AIM looks hideous to me, and it's way too fancy. *shrug* All I need to do is be able to send and receive messages - no animated backgrounds or smileys, no nudges, none of that.
Also, I just realized I didn't actually post last night even though I thought I did. >.> I'm really sorry about your great-grandmother, Pyre. *hug* And like Fatal said, you'll always have us! =)

LOL. I didn't even notice, Pasta. I guess so many people posted something along those lines, I just figured everyone in the guild had said it. Maybe that's why you thought you'd posted it, too?
And yeah... I haven't actually used IRC in years. It was amusing to me back when I had the Tempest client, though. Built-in weaponry that you could edit. I think I made one of my attacks a stampede of Jigglypuffs because a friend was on an anti-Pokemon kick. rofl

Is it totally dorky of me to want to make gingerbread people that look like the folks at my work and then hand them out to those people? Because I really, really want to. xD;

Maybe that's why you thought you'd posted it, too? I think it's because a lot of the time I'll go to post a reply in this thread and forget halfway through typing it, then come back after Gaia's logged me out for being away from my computer for so long.
Fatal - I think that's cute. =) Dorky, maybe, yes...but still! I'd be stoked to get a gingerbread version of myself.
...you people and your not being allergic to peanuts. It makes me sad.

I'd be stoked to get cookies, period. Having it look like me would give me extra warm fuzzies, though, because it shows you put a lot of thought into it. 3nodding
