-feels the threads breath becoming labored- aww..............its is too late. It is.......going to die....... -tears fall from her eyes, and a blade of obsidian slides from her hand. she places it over the thread's heart- I am.........sorry........friend.........but it.......has to end.........like this........ -crying silently, she drives the blade through the heart of the thread. it jerks a little, and looks up at her. in its eyes, she can see that it is happy to finally be freed of the pain it was in. the thread lays its head down on her chest, and closes its eyes. slowly the thread cools, and exhales for the last time.-
