User Image Urza woke herself up and stretched looking at the pads attached to the tree. For some reason she wasn't feeling very motivated to punch them, she felt like she had progressed about as much as she could from sparing with wood. Urza sighed walking away from the pads. She would leave them up until she left, hopefully some other student would find use for them. Urza made her way back towards the dojo, and the other interesting feature of the training grounds. The hot springs. Urza got a crazy idea as she rushed towards the steamy springs. She would test her endurance by seeing how long she could stand the heat in her armor.

Urza took a step towards the edge of the springs. already she could feel her body sweat and her face turn flush. The heat of the steam alone baking the girl in her armor. Urza decided it was best not to wait to long and jumped in but quickly clawed her way back out. "Ouch ouch ouch ouch." Urza winced as the heat of the water boiled her armor and leaked in through the leather bindings. The water scalded her, as she was mentally unprepared for it. Urza felt the hot water slosh out the bottom of her shoes, and with a sighed decided to get back in.

Urza winced as the cracks in her armor flooded with the hot water, but she withstood it. Closing her eyes she tried to clear her mind of the pain and think of something else. But try as she might her thoughts always returned to the water and how much it burned against her skin. She wasn't sure how long she would be able to hold out, but when all was said and done she was going to need a right proper trip to the springs to relax. One where the water wasn't so intense and she wasn't sitting in her armor, which was steadily getting warmer and warmer as well.

Urza crossed her legs which caused her to sink down further in the boiling water. Everything about this training was unpleasant. The heat, the humidity, the burning armor, everything. Urza tried to keep her breathing under control as she fought against the pain. All she could do was keep her head cool and get out to cool off when it became to much to bare. So long as Urza could keep those two things in mind she would have no problem completing this task in no time. Though Urza was unsure of how that mentality would work out, after all, even for her high pain tolerance, it burned quite a bit.

Urza reached her limit and quickly pulled herself out of the water. Her armor steamed as the water evaporated on the hot metal surface. It felt as if she had left it out in to sun all day, and then accidentally touched it with bare skin. Urza's breath became quick as she tried to cool herself off by standing and letting the breeze wash away the hot into blissful cool. Urza didn't like being wet when she was in her armor, but due to the rains that happened all the time in her home land she had gotten used to it. But something about it just felt squishy and weird, a combination Urza was not a fan of.

When Urza had cooled off enough she once more entered the burning lake of death... er Hot spring. At once the biting sensation of the heat attacked her skin, but once more Urza grin and bared it. It was not more and no worse of a pain than she would feel in combat, so the best way to deal with it was to imagine it was a combat wound. Would she turn tale and give up at the very first sign of pain? No she would stay and protect her friends until the last drop of blood ran from her veins. Urza sighed, as her wish to get out grew with every second.

Unable to stand it any more Urza pulled herself out of the hot spring and drained herself once more. For as tough skinned as she thought she was Urza still had a bit to learn about endurance. What if she was in a fight and some ninja used some wicked fire magic. How long would Urza be able to hold up against flames like those? Urza sighed as she crossed her legs and waited for her armor to cool back down before she decided to go in again. Urza had no trouble fighting against people steel to steel, but when it came to the magic jutsu stuff, Urza was going to be outclassed in no time.

Urza feeling refreshed dipped herself back into the boiling soup. If nothing else she would be able to walk away from the springs knowing she was as fresh as she could be. Urza let herself melt into the water, trying to ignore the burning sensation building up along her back and at the tops of her feet. Urza sighed as her breathing became a bit heavier. This training was taking a bigger toll on her than she had first imagined it had been. Urza would have to be careful as she finished, as the last thing she wanted was to become blistered and burned to the point she couldn't work on anything.

Deciding to play it safe Urza pulled herself out before the pain became to much to bare. If she could just keep her cool and make sure that she got out while it was wise to get out she would come out of this training unharmed. She had to think of it like chakra training, if she wasn't careful, and if she didn't take into consideration her physical limits, terrible terrible things were liable to happen. Urza pulled hat her hair which had gotten a bit wet during these last few dips. As she wrung out the water she sighed, wishing now she had put it up and out of the way. That was the issue with long hair, it was always where you didn't want it.

Urza feeling cool and fresh jumped into the water again. Her hair quickly became soaked again As she took the time now to pin it up. Hopefully it would dry on it own pretty quick. Urza felt the water with her hand as ripples disrupted the surface. Water was such an odd medium to Urza. She never really felt comfortable in it. It always had this sensation that it was trying to swallow her. Though maybe it was just that fact she hadn't gone swimming without her armor in quite a long time... Wouldn't that be nice. Just a relaxing day without her armor.

Yes... she remembered now... the birds were singing, and they were sitting on a fallen tree, listening to them. Though Miyako was distracted. Distracted by a rose. Her eyes were brown, and her hair were just as brown. Her hair was about as long as her hair now, and it shined in the sun. She was a rose... but without thorns. That was the moment, she knew about herself.

It wasn't something she didn't know, it was there all the time. Whatever transpired between looking at her and the kiss they shared, she would never be able to remember. All that was there was the both of them, and the birds. It was an exciting moment that caught Rose off guard. Though she didn't pull away. Until her father showed up looking for them. She knew... this was why she blocked the memory.

She tried hard to remember what was next. She wanted an answer to her question. She wanted to now remember why she never saw her again, but her mind placed the block again. She had to overcome it like the last obstacle. She returned to drawing and drew a rose instead of finishing the turtle. Her mind was a little too preoccupied.

The memory slowly came back as she drew. Her father had asked them what was going on. Neither one of them responded and they were brought back home. Her father had dismissed Rose and told his wife she would escort her to her parents. Something told her nothing was going to be fine. She gave one last look at her before the door closed. It was only her and her mother. There was no explaining, her father already telling her what had happened.

This was the sadness that followed, but this time, she put the block up. She didn't want to remember. She knew what was going to happen, but the memory was starting to force itself upon her. She had gone too far to not continue going. She knew the memory would be better remembered, but she didn't want to.

Her block was torn down and the memory flooded back in. Her mother sat her down in the seat and told her to explain what had happened. Miyako was hesitant, but she eventually poured it all out. Her mother... perhaps just being a girl, made it easier to speak with her about it. Her mother listened intently to what she was saying, though Miyako could tell it wasn't something she approved of.

Her father returned within an hour after speaking with her mother and she could already feel the bad news. Her mother and father left the room, but without telling her to remain seated. Miyako did as she was told, for fear of losing whatever hope she had left. She could hear the discussion in the other room vaguely, but understood enough to hear they were figuring out how to handle it. Miyako kept her hands in her lap and kept her eyes down looking at them.

Since that point on, she wore the hand and arm wraps that she frequently wears now. She couldn't remember why, but knew it was coming shortly. Her parents returned to the room and told her that it wasn't really right to be doing that and gave her a child version of the 'birds and the bees,' but Miyako wasn't hearing any of it. She had liked boys, but why was it so wrong? It certainly didn't feel that way.

She put the block up, her eyes already red from the small amount of tears that were welling up. She didn't want to cry. She told herself she wouldn't. That was why the block was up in the first place, to prevent this from happening, and here she was trying so hard to tear down the block. She got what she asked for, but in a way it was relieving... having that welled up inside her... like a pressure building up, it was nice to let it run out.

The memory came back, she was still sitting in her seat when a name got her attention. The words that followed were what hit her. Hit her like a wagon of bricks. It was an emotional punch to the face. Rose wouldn't come by the house again. It seemed as her father had spoken with Rose's about the situation and had agreed to come through Oto through a different route. Since then, she had never seen Rose.

The rest of the memory involved her skulking to her room and locking herself in it for a few days. She was a walking zombie. She remembered why she wore the wraps. She had punched the wall and it had caused her hands to bleed. She wrapped them up and now she always wore them. She wondered why she always had. The memory had been forgotten, and she grew an outer shell to protect herself. Her parents, after a while grew indifferent of her 'ways,' but not fully approved, but Rose still hasn't come back through Oto since then. She closed her notepad and returned it to her pocket. She was done remembering for the day.

User Image Urza quickly pulled herself out of the hotsprings again as the metal of her armor was heating quicker now that it had when she had first started. Because it never truly had time to cool down the steel plates retained their heat of the previous dip and made it unbearable to comfortably stay in the spring without risk of burns. Urza wondered how they managed to cool off the water to make it relaxing. As far as Urza could tell there was no way she would be caught dead trying to relax in that water. It would just as soon poach her and relax her muscles.

Urza tried not to think about the heat to much as she lay off to the side letting her steel cool down and the water drain from her suit. Urza sighed looking at the steam rising up out of the water. She was still much to weak. Urza closed her fist, pounding it against the ground once. The thought of her being unable to protect the people she swore her life to. Being unable to handle the heat of the springs. It was rather embarrassing for the young girl. She had so much potential bundled up inside of her, yet she couldn't unleash any of it because she was still to weak.

Urza sighed sitting up. There was no use fussing over it now. There was an aspect that she didn't like about herself, so she would train and fix it. That was how the cycle had always gone. Urza just had to relax and continue doing what she had always done in time she would come to find her hard work paying off. Urza laughed looking at her fist. After all, she had been training sense she was 4, she knew the routine like the back of her hand. She knew what needed work, as her father would point out her every flaw any time the spared.

Urza stood up and more water that had been puddling in her armor drained on to the ground. The young girl sighed and lossened up the binding holding her armor on. As she did this water continued to fall from her body, as if she had become one bit container for water and was being emptied bit by bit. Urza was not a fan of water being inside her armor. The sloshy feeling that her feet got when squishing against the leather in her boots made her skin crawl. Urza decided when she was done with this she would take a few minutes to dry off. Heaven forbid the slosh of her shoe preventing her from training.

Urza could feel that the metal had returned to about air temperature and decided it was time to jump back in and get it over with. Urza made her way to the edge of the spring and once again submerged everything but her head. Water poured in quickly through the loosened bindings and soon Urza was once more engulfed in steaming water. Urza winced as the fires of the water licked against her skin and slowly began heating the metal of her plate. At this rate Urza would be run from the spring yet again, but the girl closed her eyes, trying to clear her mind of the pain. Hopefully this would become a mind over matter situation for the young girl.

User Image Every time Urza moved the heat from the spring became renewed in her mind. Urza bit down on her tongue to try and give her body some other pain to think about. And for the time being it worked. Her brain forgot about the pain of the heat and focused instead on the pain that Urza was inflicting upon herself. However Urza knew that tactic would only work for a bit, because as soon as the pain of the heat became worse then the pain she was giving herself she would have to get out. Though Urza hopped she would get through at least one more minute before having to get out.

Soon however the pain of the water over took her and Urza had to get out. Urza spit out a bit of blood that had pooled up in her mouth from biting her tongue a bit to hard. Urza sighed once more emptying all of her armor of the hot water and letting herself cool off for a bit. When she had first planed on doing this task she had assumed it would be a rather simple one. Wait in the water for ten minutes and get out. She didn't know the heat form the springs would be so intense. Urza gingerly wiggled her tongue a bit. And to top off the minor burns she was most likely going to have, her tongue now hurt too!

Urza decided to suck it up and just try and get the exercise over with. Getting back in the spring she sat down, causing the water to rise to her neck and flood her armor once more. Urza didn't know why she bothered to drain it each time she got out, because she knew each time she got in it would be just as bad. Urza bubbled in the stew and counted her breaths and she felt the water warm her up some more. Maybe if Urza stayed perfectly still she would be able to get hr body temperature to even out with the temperature floating inside her armor.

User Image Urza stayed perfectly still, control her body so that the only movement was that of her chest as it expanded and contrasted with breathing, and even that movement Urza tired to minimize as much as possible. Urza smiled as the water around her began to feel pleasant, still hot, but not the point of burning her out. Her armor was still heating up but Urza was able to adjust herself so that she wasn't coming in direct contact with the metal. this made the heat it was putting of easier to bare. Urza adjusted a bit, and she did the heat instantly shot up. She dreaded to think how hard this would have been if the spring had a strong current.

Urza closed her eyes and put everything out of her mind. The water, the steam, the heat, the entire world around her. She put everything out of her mind and focused only on her body. She imagined it being as resilient as stone. Being worn down only by time. Urza was a might wall against the devil water that crashed its head against her gates. But she was a fortress, she did not move, and she did not let the enemy break her. When at last she could stand it no more, Urza opened her eyes and sprang out of the water onto dry land. The lay there dripping, letting the air dry her and cool her off. Just one more beast Urza had slain.

User Image As soon as Urza had successfully dried off she made her way back to the dojo. Urza had hoped that she would find some useful tool for training, what she ran across surprised even her. It was a box of Moj jong tiles. Urza knew of the game because she had played against her father once in a tea shop. 144 tiles where shuffled and then build into a specific shape. You than had to match pieces on the outside tiles and try to remove all 144. It was a difficult game, because you had to be aware of all the pieces that were in play on all dimensions. Urza felt her awareness had been a little lacking, and this game would provide a perfect opportunity to work on it.

Urza counted out 144 tiles and shuffled them setting up the board. It was a bit time consuming, and sometimes if you played wrong you wouldn't even be able to win. But the values of quick thinking and awareness that it taught were invaluable, namely to a young girl like her. When Urza's board had been set she flipped the timer and got to work. Quickly Urza spotted 4 tiles the could be paired and moved the, off to the side. Scanning around the edges her fingers pulled another 2 away. Urza mapped the entire board in her head, or at least tried to. If she could keep in mind all the pieces that were currently on the board, and than just add on the ones that got exposed, she would have this game done in a snap.

As Urza quickly found out however it was not as easy as it sounded. After pulling away the first few tiles she had to keep checking and rechecking edges to try and find matching pieces. It was slow going and very ineffective. Every time she thought she found something it turned out they didn't share a particular feature, or the numbers were wrong. Sometimes she just ended up staring at a piece for what felt like forever before moving on to the rest of the tiles. It was slow going work but Urza was determined to go until she won, or until she ran out of moves.

After her period of looking however Urza took off with lightning speed, removing another 10 tiles in a matter of moments. Her options were running thin however as she looked across all of the tiles. She found a couple ore moves and took away the tiles, quickly counting the number she had removed, 68. She was almost half way there. Urza scanned the board her eyes darting back and forth as she tried to open her mind and be aware of all the possible moves present to her on the board. Urza held her hand on her chin thinking.

Urza was able to remove a few more tiles before getting stumped again. It seemed the less she had the harder it was to find moves. And that made since, because she had less option and there were still a good number of tiles covered. Urza made sure that she when over every tile with a fine tooth comb, looking for plays and possibilities. After the first few she had gotten rid of however Urza saw no moves. It was worrisome because still had quite a large pile in the center which could mean bad jojo when she tried to find pairs.

Urza wanted to make sure she was absolutely sure that there were no moves before she took note of the piles and reshuffled the tiles. As she remembered it she had three chances to reshuffle the tiles to try and find new pairs whenever she got stuck. If Urza had such a large pile in the middle still she was sure that there had to be some hidden potential in there. But if she could lower it down a bit she would feel better about reshuffling. Urza stared intently at the board once more looking at every tile individually to try and find a match, there was such a large number of tiles though that Urza felt a bit overwhelmed.

Just as Urza was about to reshuffle the tiles she found a pair, followed by another 2. She was on fire now, there was still about five minutes left in the hour glass, which gave Urza plenty of time to find and reshuffle if need be. However Urza was starting to feel better able this pile. the middle tower was now much smaller which meant less of a chance the a pair was stacked on top of one another, and therefore equated to a higher chance that she would be able to win this round of Moj jong. If Urza could just keep her wits about her she was sure she could conquer even this mental challenge.

Urza found a single pair that she could remove from the board and counted the tiles left, as it was quicker than counting the tiles she had removed. It appeared that she had about 100 tiles off the board. That meant 20 more pairs and this game was as good as won! Urza laughed looking at the board. She wished Miyako or Alucard were here with her. Urza was much better at chess and checkers than she was at Moj jong, and those games always had a clear winner. This game relied more on luck than on skill, and Urza had never been the type to be lucky with these kinds of games.

As Urza stared at the board state she found herself weaving in and out of focus. If she wanted to beat the clock she would have to have absolute concentration and awareness. Urza looked at all the tiles on the board with a sigh. Again none of the moves seemed obvious to her so she had to go through and slowly analyze it out. As she made her way around the board her began to sink as she didn't see any moves. She really hated using reshuffles so soon, but it looked like she didn't have any other moves. Making a mental note of the board state Urza collected the remaining tiles and shuffled them.

Urza had two shuffles left and about 40 tiles to remove. 20 pairs and she would be sitting pretty. Urza placed tiles down one by one trying not to pay attention while she did in the spirit of the game. The game was about quick reaction and awareness, not about what she remembered laying down. Besides she would have been able to see if she had paired tiles with each other on towers, and would have known when to reshuffle again. Urza finished setting up her board, and nothing popped out at her straight away, so once more she had to take her time and examine all the possible moves she had in front of her.

User Image The longer Urza looked at the board the more she became saddened by what she saw. There didn't seem to be any moves for her to make, and what was worse was that if she reshuffled now she would only have one ace left. Urza didn't want to act hastily so she looked at all the tiles again, making sure that there wasn't anything she had missed. Urza didn't want to throw away her game just because of a wasted shuffle. Urza made herself aware of all the tiles and pairing she had left. Even if she didn't see anything now she would at least know what she was looking for in the future. Hopefully her hard work and memorization wouldn't be in vain.

Urza sighed as it appeared she was once more out of moves and had to reshuffle the tiles once more. Urza was displeased by how things were turning out when it got right down to it. She shuffled the 40 tiles along the floor than stacked them up and randomized them once more. With a light hand she re dealt out the board once more trying not to pay attention to how the towers stacked as she dealt. When Urza was finished she closed her eyes crossing her arms over her chest, "O Maker, shine thine light through mine eyes so I may see the truth."

Urza opened her eyes and took a quick glace at the game state. Nothing popped out to her but due to her being down to one reshuffle she wasn't going to let any tiny detail go unnoticed. Urza let her eyes focus one every single tile. Making sure not to let a single detail slip from her vision. Urza ran through all the possible combo's in her head, looking for any matching plates while keeping an eye on the timer. She still had about three minutes but she was in the exact same place... Well a little worse off, than she was two minutes ago. Urza sighed, she would not let this game get the better of her! She would win... Assuming she hadn't screwed herself over already.

User Image Urza sighed as it looked like she once again faced with a set of nothing. She had already burned through two of her reshuffles, and she wasn't about to let her last one go to waste just because she was impatient. Urza made sure her eyes scanned over each and every tile again before she even thought about using her last tool. It was important for her to win this game now, almost on a personal level. Urza had always had issues with games of wit. She would always psyche herself out one way or another and end up worse off than if she had just not played at all. It was games like these that made Urza hate failing, not because she didn't win often, but because she never won at all.

Urza gave up putting her head in her hands in frustration. She was so close. If she could have won this game it would have made the world of difference to Urza and her self esteem. But once more she was proving herself to be nothing more than than a suit of armor and a good punch. But what was that without the combat knowledge and rational thinking. What good would she be once she got into real situations if her only course was attack attack attack. There was bound to be a time where having a level head and cool wit about her would save her life. She just had to prove to herself that she had those two things.

Urza picked up the tiles as she gave up finding any hope with the way it was now. Carefully she shuffled the tiles giving them a quick prayer before laying them out. Urza was afraid to even look as she reset the board state with new a new lay out. She was hoping with a little help from The Maker that she would be able to lay out a board it was possible to beat. Because Urza was out of restart buttons. It was all or nothing on the last set. Urza disregarded the time limit now. Now it was purely for personal achievement and to prove under all that steel that she did have a brain, or at least some luck.

User Image Urza opened her eyes looking at the game state. At last! Urza picked out a few tiles that instantly stood out to her. Urza was going to win this game if it killed her. Urza had to make sure each move was tactical now. One false tile pull and she would be staring down the barrel of a hot failure. Urza removed tiles thinking over them carefully. She had to make sure that she removed the right ones in the right order or she would once more be confirming that she had no luck and was terrible at these sort of games. Though maybe if she played against Alucard or Miyako she might fair better. Less luck would be involved, and who knows. Maybe she would end up being a bit more skilled than one of them.

Urza removed a few more tiles counting the ones left. There were eight tiles left, but the way they were spread out still left room for her to lose. Urza carefully weighed all of her decisions. If she pulled them in the wrong order there was a chance that she would be left with two pairs stacked on top of one another. Though there was a chance that this was already the case in which case Urza had lost already, and now it was just a matter of finding her flaw. But Urza tried to keep a chipper face as she thought about her next move.

Urza looked at the remaining tiles with a bit of fear. She had two possible moves but one could send her straight down the path of failure. Urza had to be clever and make sure she picked the right option to avoid this catastrophic error. Urza had come so close, and to fail now would be devastating for the poor girl. This was farther than she had ever come before, and would most likely be the farthest she ever got for quite a while. Urza wanted nothing more than to make the right move and send her to victory. Urza tried to think back to all the remaining tiles. Hopefully there was a clue hidden somewhere in there that would help her make her choice.

User Image It hit Urza like a stroke of genius. Urza moved one pile than another, than another and finally scooped up the last two tiles. She had won! Urza had finally won her first game of Moj jong. Urza laughed collecting all of the tiles and putting them away. Though Urza was sure her pick was 90% luck it still put Urza in a fantastic mood to have won her first game of wits. She felt like there was nothing she couldn't accomplish now. She would move mountains! She could tame the very sky! Urza laughed putting her hands on her hips. Maybe that was a bit of an exaggeration, but the point was Urza was feeling like the queen of the world. The fires of motivation had never burned so hot in her belly.

Miyako stood up deciding to work on other, more physical things. Even though she didn't care to run, she needed to practice. She drew a line in the dirt and walked a approximately ten feet away and drew another line. She was going to run back and forth as fast as she could between the lines. I think it's called a gopher? No idea why.... She ran to the line, but tripped over her foot and landed face first in the dirt. She couldn't help but chuckle, Klutz.

She brushed herself off and ran to the other line. It was nice doing something involving her body. It was enough to get her mind of of events in her mind. She had to admit, unlocking that memory inside herself would better serve her. She couldn't run from her problems, or she'd land face first in the dirt. She was a klutz.

When she reached the other line she had to quickly change directions and run back to the other line. The quick change in direction, if done improperly, would cause most to slip and fall, but Miyako placed her hand down to touch the line, giving her a little sense of balance. She quickly changed directions and made it to the opposite line.

Upon reaching the line, she bent down and touched it, and without trying to lose to much speed, she slid in the dirt and pushed off the ground and ran after the other line. She wasn't doing half bad. She would have thought she would have ended up in the dirt a few times already. She wondered what the others were off doing. Urza had left before to go somewhere, and Alucard was... somewhere....

No, she couldn't get distracted. The next line was coming up and she reached down and touched it. She felt her momentum almost keep going, but she kept her balance and ran back to the other line. A bead of sweat fell from her brow down onto her chest. This was really a workout. She wasn't the most physically fit, but she figured she had a nice enough body. She never worried about losing the weight.

The next line was upon her and she bent to touch it, almost knocking herself over and rolling in the dirt. She kept her balance, and continued her training. Her mind was so focused into her running, that she had forgot about her memory for a while, though it wasn't completely gone. She would hold onto the memory and never let it go.

Miyako ran to the line and went to touch it, however she completely knocked herself over and went tumbling in the dirt. It was only a matter of time and she knew it was going to happen sooner or later... more often sooner. She stood up and brushed off the dirt from her legs and shorts. Her shirt was another story, since it was mostly white and the dirt just ended up staining it.

She started over running to the next line, but the same thing happened and she rolled in the dirt. She grunted as her body collided with the ground. Of course the ground wasn't soft. She wasn't rolling in sand. She sighed as she stood up and brushed herself off. Her hair was terrible. She ran her hand through and and shook as much of the dirt off as possible. She fixed it as best as she could, until it was somewhat decent.

Not that she cared, but she needed to look presentable. She ran to the next line, but before she got there, she tripped over her feet and landed on the ground. It was not her lucky day. At least she had five in before this started happening. She only needed to do five more and then she'd call it quits. Perhaps afterward, she'd work on some of the academy jutsu. She stood up, deciding to leave the dirt till she was done.

She was glad she did, because not even a step later she fell again, this time she swore the ground was at fault. She looked down to see a small rock in the way and picked it up, chucking it away. It was the cursed thing's fault for making her fall over! Then she thought, that maybe it was the rocks fault all along... She laughed, Yeah right... and then the laugh stopped suddenly. But maybe...

She stood up and walked to the line and readied herself as she sprinted to the opposite line. She made it there in one piece and touched the line. She was back in the zone. She changed directions and charged for the other line, running as quickly as possible. The exercise was exhilarating. She could feel her shirt sticking to her from the sweat and dirt. She would need a bath tonight.

Just when the going was getting good, she screwed it up. She tripped before she even reached the line and tumbled along the ground. Today just didn't seem to be her day. She really needed to help her footwork, and prevent this from happening during an important mission. She would never forgive herself if that happened.

She got up and tried it again. She ran to the line and went to touch it, but her body kept going when her feet stopped. She rolled along the ground. She seemed to be spending a lot of time on the ground... For real!? Ugh... I just need to run a few more and then I'm done... just a few more. She had to keep that mentality if she was ever going to finish the training. Especially with luck like this.

She ran to the line as fast as she could and bent down. This time she managed to keep her balance and touch the line and change directions. She figured this was the best way to challenge her feet, and she was right. She had lived up to her name of klutz and she was going to overcome it. Though, about now she could use her sensei calling her Blondie... though no doubt he would call her fallie-wallie or something lame like that.

She was thinking too much and didn't see her feet collide with each other and she hit the dirt. Hard. She fell so fast it was like the ground came up to meet her as she fell. She laid on the ground motionless for a moment, taking in the pain and the humiliation. Hopefully no one was around to see her epic fail at running. She hoped she could make a puppet soon, so she could have it do all the running...

User Image Urza headed outside to enjoy the fresh air that Oto had to offer. Urza always liked physical training outside. Inside the air would get stuffy and stale, and the artificial lighting gave Urza a headache. But outside in the natural sunlight Urza could breath new around and feel win on her face. Urza had a broad smile on her face as she made her way to a a flat area. Urza remembered going to a circus when she was younger and watching these nimble performers do hand stands and walking on their fingers. Urza felt like she was strong enough to hold herself up, but she had no idea if she was balanced enough to hold herself up. Urza decided to try and flicked her body forward trying to rise into a handstand. However Urza put to much speed and power into it and ended up just flopping on the ground. "More challenging than it looks."

Urza picked herself up and got ready to try again. Urza kept an eye on the ground as she flipped herself up on her hands. She was able to hold it for about half a second before she became unbalanced again and fell to the ground. Urza laughed as the world spun a bit around her. The circus people had made the task look so easy, but here Urza was tumbling like a fool. Sure she had pretty good balance, but the mass of her armor was throwing her off. She had to compensate for the force created by her higher mass. If she could do that she would be able to hold her handstand, than it was just finding that balance point to be able to start walking around.

Urza put her breathing in check as she rocked her body backwards, than forwards, kicking up her legs and balancing herself on her hands. Urza had done it! A very successful handstand! Urza laughed as she looked at the world all turned upside down. Urza could feel the blood slowly rushing to her head, but she didn't care! She was standing on her hands in a suit of armor. A task that she had never though she would see herself doing. Urza laughed as she wiggled her body back and forth to keep herself from falling over.

When Urza had counted thirty seconds of hand stand she began to try walking. She took it very slowly at first. Lifting one hand, than quickly moving it forward and re-balancing, than lifting the other and coming back together. Urza made it a good ten yards walking on her hands before she stopped in fear of falling over. Urza couldn't believe her own skill. The Maker was truly giving Urza his blessing this day, and Urza planed on taking that blessing and running with it. She would push herself as far as she could go until she broke down.

Urza got a crazy idea in her head. Finding her balance Urza started lifting a hand off the ground attempting to go into a one handed hand stand. However not soon after she was on her one hand she felt herself begin to wobble and she soon found herself crashing to the ground. It seemed she was not quite ready for that level of balance, maybe in a few more days of training she would. Or perhaps if she was feeling ballsy she would try it again as soon as she got into another handstand. Urza was stubborn like that. She didn't like to quit. It had payed off for her thus far, so she didn't mind pushing her luck a bit.
