Lyssie glanced up sullenly. "Something's here. It's pretty normal for this place, actually. I was told not to go outside so you might not want to either."
Kaelin frowned, not quite familiar with the protocol when things went to hell in this place. She knew how her own parents would react but that hardly mattered did it. "We need to find Malikhai."
He reacted pretty much the way his father did, instantly attempting to go to his mother's aid. His reaction was water based, however, attempting to douse the flames which only succeeded in angering the flames which burned brighter and swirled around his parents until he couldn't even see them anymore. "That's...really not good."
Tendrils of fire curled around her, wrapping them up in her embrace and she felt the lull of a strong power calling to her. He needed her, wanted her help. She blinked once, twice, then three times as the fire touched her skin but wouldn't burn it and then an inhuman scream before it was backing off and Sevilin was standing in front of her. "Not an it. A he. He's looking for someone..."
He smiled as the male reacted exactly as expected. Those two would save each other and that was good information to have. But still his quarry was fleeing from him and he didn't like it. "Never picked you for a coward, Coldiron. Step out and face me." The fire was given a voice of it's own, raging in a furious mask that hovered before Twilight. The mouth opened once again as the blazing eyes surveyed the landscape. "Where. Is. Coldiron?" he raged.

“Yeah, that’s normal. Is it time for the wolves and blood period of the decade?” Coughing, which just managed to aggravate he bleeding and her fever.
“Do you have any way to get a hold of him? He carry a linkstone or something?” Shaking her head…this was all happening much to fast with very little results. She didn’t like that.
“I don’t think flinging magic is going to help too much…nor a blade.” That just looked that it was more than enough trouble than it was ever going to be worth. His eyes scanned things though, “The magic security is down too…a lot is wrong here. Come on, let’s get closer.”
“Well…that answers the question of who’s he’s looking for. You know me, I say sacrifice him up to whatever this is but I’m sure that’s not the proper response.” Especially with things of late but that was something to deal with later. Though she did step back into Zahara, making her start stepping back as well back towards Twilight. Well…it wasn’t following them. He wouldn’t call it retreat though…tactical regrouping. Though he did notice the two older boys and a quick rune scribed had them translocated and dropped into the front hall as he and Zahara backed into the safety of the fortress. “Galesen! Front and center now!” Sending his own information to Malik through runics…he wasn’t sure that this thing was but he was looking for Coldiron.

Malik's eyes got cold, getting the information passed on by Sevilin. So Galesen had an enemy. and enemy highly proficient in the use of fire, as he was developing in ice. malik glanced at his wife.
"It seems so. but this wolf is looking for a particular sheep, and he isn't family, at least."
Malik shadowstepped out of the room, finding Isle and Kaelin and grabbed Isle by the arm.
"Both of you, my room with piper. no questions. now."
letting them go and taking himself to teh battlements, and just the right place to be very easily heard on the grounds of his home...much like having the voice of god effect, which he happened to like about this particular area of the battlements. out somewhat in front, but the position was just right with stalamights and such to give it that canyon echo effect.
"Malikhai! Zykariel! In the Fortress, now!"
before facing these flames and glaring at them.
"Coldiron is mine, he belongs to me. what buisness do you have with him?"

"s**t, s**t, s**t, s**t...." Galesen was cursing to himself as he made his way through the fortress and he made his way down to the room which held all the kids, and the woman he wanted to see. "Isle!" A look and he saw Malikhai's girl and he gave a nod to her before turning back to Isle. "Listen to me, we don't have much time. Go back to Andal, and take the kids with you, all of them. Don't argue with me just do it! That thing outside...trust me just go, take them all and leave, even Piper if you can. I've got a plan to deal with it, but I would feel better if you and everyone were on Andal." There was a light pause before he reached up and pulled her in for a long but meaningful kiss. When he pulled away Galesen just looked at Isle for a moment and sighed. "That's just in case...yeah." After he turned around and made his way to the door Galesen yelled, "Just get them to Andal as fast as you can!" and then he was gone. Soon he was at the front hall and he looked to see the people he wanted to see. "Good, I need to talk to all of you, now if only Malik was here." A blink as he heard Malik's voice, suddenly his eyes widen as he realized what Malik was going to do, so he turned to Sevilin and said, "Sevilin, get him back inside, now! I'm serious, Malik is going to die if he is not brought in here quickly!" Galesen had to order Sevilin to do it, it was either that or way to hear some big boom and realize there is a dead man outside.

There was too much happening all around her and she didn't even know what was truly going on. "I-I don't know..." But then Isle was snatched and kissed a ridiculously long time and Kaelin quietly slipped into Piper's room because she had no idea where else to go. "Do you...know where your son is? Lady D'vinn...you're bleeding!" She hurried into the bathroom and grabbed a cloth, wetting it and bringing it back out to Piper.
"But not why or to what lengths he'll go to in order to get him." She stepped back, keeping her body close to her husband's just in case anyone got any ideas. They were each other's cover for now. The fire let them through, remaining where it was before it simply disappeared. Mental tabs on all her children were quickly taken. "Go help with the children."
"Yours?" The face asked with a laugh. "Yet he has my blood running through his veins and blood trumps whatever paltry hold you have over him. He belongs to me and is of me. My business is mine alone. Coldiron knows. That's why he's running scared. Send him to me and your home will be safe."

This was happening far too fast for her brain too keep up with and concentrate when her body was busy trying to re-stabilize itself, which didn’t feel good at all. “Is that even good or bad?” More confused a moment later as Kaelin was there playing nurse now. “It’s just a nosebleed….you don’t know where Khai is?” A rather impressive nosebleed but hey.
Right…what the hell was happening? Malik was screaming at her, Gale was screaming at her and kissing her and then she was left blinking and with kids. “Wait, what?” Not that she would get an answer to that but in oh so Isle like fashion she turned to the older kids, “Stay with the little ones.” Heading downstairs after Galesen to where the others were gathered. “What do you mean go to Andal?”
Rough translocation fall combined with his fathers yelling didn’t make for a very pretty picture but he was back on his feet quickly. “What the hell is that outside?” And yes he was still bleeding, not that that was important right now.
He was a bit taken aback by Galesen’s screaming and authoritative tones. When did he decided to grow a pair and take charge of oddness. But a motion of runes and indeed Malik was translocated from the battlements and back inside to stand with the rest of them. “Normally I wouldn’t do what he says…but he’s the lamb it wants for slaughter. Maybe he has an interesting explanation.” Blinking at Zahara though as she started giving her own orders. “What do you mean go help with them?” They were capable…right?

Malik was not happy at being dragged inside..and decided to take it our on galesen, grabbing him and shoving him into the wall.
"So, when were you going to tell us that your polar opposite was an aggressive fire manipulating figure that wants you dead or on the way there? before or after you left back to Andal?"
narrowing his eyes.
"I've half a mind to throw you to this wolf and let it feast on you to it's heart's content. The other half wants to do the deed myself for you dragging it here."

Galesen was just about to say something to Sevilin when suddenly he felt Malik grab him and shove him into the wall. He waited for the drow to get through his rant, and he understood why Malik was upset, but at the moment he was pretty much pissed off as well. "Let go of me Malik." Galesen narrowed his eyes then grabbed the man's arms and pulled them off of him. "I had nothing to do with that." He pointed toward the area where his Great-Uncle was. "I never knew who he was until just ten minutes ago. I was going to come tell you but you went racing off to face him, which is why I had Sevilin pull you back here." He stared at the drow for a moment. "You could of died, the worst thing anyone can do is face an opponent without knowing at least something of them. So listen up and listen good because I'm going to give everyone here a history lesson and then we are going to do things my way." A look to everyone who was there. "That includes you two." He pointed to Zykariel and Malikhai. So once everyone was settled he told them of his great grandfather and his great uncle and his parents as well. He tried to keep it short but he had to tell them all for their sake.
When he was done Galesen crossed his arms as he looked at each of them. "So you see, this wasn't my fault in particular, this was suppose to be dealt with ages ago, but the destruction of the surface stopped that. And my parents would of told me about this when I was a kid, but they got killed so when those small power boosts was happening to me years ago I didn't know it was an advanced warning that my great uncle's prison was finally melting. And that's another thing, damn reverie stopped the moment I was going to be shown something important." A small sigh from him before he looked to them all again. "Alright, now this is how we are going to do this. Malik, Zahara, Sevilin, Malikhai and Zykariel and I are going out there to face him. All of us except Sevilin will actually be fighting, Sevilin you'll stay behind to keep up a rune barrier to block any excess magic coming of my uncle. But there is a second reason as to why I want you staying behind and I'll get to that soon." A look to the others and he smiled a little, it was a nervous smile but it was there. "When we face him keep your distance, get in there, hurt him, get out. If you stay long enough he will use his fire magic to burn you alive. We gotta kill him quick because since he is an old elf he may know magics to keep himself going, so we do our best to get this done fast." A look to Isle though and he sighed once more. "The reason why I told you to take everyone to Andal is because of what may happen if we do fail, which involves Sevilin. Now my uncle is here to kill me because he knows I hold enough energy to kill him completely, once he gets rid of me he will have nothing to fear. So if he does kill me Sevilin is probably the only one who is strong enough to hold up against him so..." He look to Sevilin and gave another sigh. "I want you out of harm's way is because if I do get killed, and if the others get killed and you still have a hard time killing him, I want you to destroy the plane. It will be the only way to get rid of him." Galesen then turned and looked at Malik. "I want your wife to be gone from this place if she can be moved, she is already being effected by my uncle, who knows what will happen to her when we face him." He then looked back at the others and raised and eyebrow. "So, anyone got any problems with this?"

"Yes, I got several problems with it."
glaring at Galesen.
"Your great uncle is a mage, nothing more or less. powerful as he might be, he specializes in fire. Your attunement is naturally to ice. you cancel eachother out. You aren't bringing our children into this to cover your a**. and no one is plane destroying. you want to face him, you go ahead. you want my help and sevilin's, you go right on ahead. But we are not running, and if you do die I'll finish it. you overestimate him."
patting his sword lightly with his hand.
"I've killed my share of mages in my time. I'm sure sevilin has as well. I know how to handle a mage. even one like this."

Zahara shook her head. "I'm sorry, Sevilin. I meant your son but I was looking at you. Zykariel, Malikhai, go help with the kids. And don't you argue with me." Galesen's little speech gained him a raised eyebrow. "You know, Galesen, you could be nice about this instead of ordering us to do your bidding." Her crossed arms pretty much mirrored Malik's stance and her problems were about the same as well. "My children aren't fighting your battles, Galesen. The other thing I'd like to point out is that if he was going to hurt us, he already would have. He had a prime opportunity when he surrounded me with fire. Sevilin repelled it but before he could, I was engulfed. His fire didn't burn me. His message is for you. He wants you, not us. Now ask us nicely if we'll fight by your side."
"No, he went to my house and brought my mother back here and then he told me to get some rest and disappeared. I don't know if he stayed inside or not and there's something happening and I don't know what it is. So I thought...well, bonds can tell you that sort of thing, right?"

Of course he knew that Malik was going to have a problem with it, even Zahara too because they didn't want to get their children involved. But when the both of them said their peace Galesen paused and took a deep breath before looking at Malik. "I'm not asking you to run, I'm asking you to fight, and you underestimate him; he has been alive for a thousand of years, probably more and suspended for a small chunk of time too. Things were lost when the surface went bad so he probably has a few tricks up his sleeve that we don't even know of." Though he gave a look to the drow and then looked at Zahara and crossed his arms. "I am not trying to cover my damn a** just because we cancel each other out. First off your sons are old enough to decide if they want to fight, they've been trained properly and their skills could help. Second the more people that are fighting him, the better it is because if we are quick he cannot get accustomed to any of us or even guess at what we can do. He has fought in a war that took over this whole plane, so he has the experience to judge the enemy and how to fight one once he has enough information that is satisfying. You may have killed a fair share of mages Malik, but that doesn't mean you know what every single one can do."
A look to Zahara again, he wasn't angry at her, he understood that she was worried. "I'm not asking the boys to fight my battle for me, I'm not asking any of you to fight my battle for me, I'm asking because I can't do this alone. And the reason he has not done anything yet is because he knows I'm here and believes that I can still kill him, he fears me out of everything else. If I were to die he would destroy everything, I told you he wanted to wipe every single race but his own, that includes the drow. And what if, once he finished here, he were to move onto another plane? I don't know everything about him, he could have a different means of crossing onto another plane. That's why I rather have Sevilin to destroy ours in case we cannot defeat him. He may seem like he is doing nothing now, but he has been locked away for years, waiting a few more minutes wouldn't hurt him." A small sigh from the elf before he looked at all of them. "I am not to going ask you to cover my a**, this fight is mine but I'm asking you to fight with me. I'll face him on my own if that is the case but if you guys are not going to run, then it will be better to fight together against him." Gripping his katana Galesen looked at Isle and smiled a little then looked at everyone else. "I'm going to head out there now, if anyone wants to come along, you're welcome to it."

"I'm quite fond of tying him to a stick and hucking him out the door, personally." Shrugging and giving his own two cents on the matter. He frankly didn't see the point to argue on this...so what if Galesen goes out and gets maimed and killed the guy just goes away? Probably not and then it was their fight anyway after that. Leaning against his polearm, he cleared his throat. "You might want to take his advice on the Andal thing, before Piper suffers an aneurysm. Other than that, someone decide something." Straightening his posture in his 'that's all I have to say' way.
Malikhai stood there, listening and watching as they argued among themselves and it finally seemed something was going to happen. Tugging at his cloak, he let it fall to the floor as it would only cause him drag and followed after Galesen, shoving the other elf out of his way and outside at the same time. "Shut you mouth and put your sword to use, Coldiron." Drawing his own sword then and starting out.

Malik grabbed his son by his injured arm, and dug in a little bit.
"You're staying with your mother then, and taking her to Andal with Kaelin and your not arguing the point."
nodding at Zahara.
"Get your kids and do what you want with them, keep them here send them off. Sevilin...lets go out with Galesen and lets see if this mage is really anything special outside of a little heat."
smirking lightly.
"My son has the point. get your blade and use it, Galesen. he's expecting a mage in you. not a soldier."
before heading out the door, snapping a finger and his armor formed on him, holding his helm under his arm.
"We've had a debate...and we've decided that Galesen is more valuable alive rather then dead. So...you can go about your buisness or we can do this the hard way and make you go about your business. probably as someone's pet."

"My children will be safe on Andal and that's where they'll go. Zykariel, go with your siblings. Keep them safe. Take care of Kit and tell him what he needs to know and nothing else." She glanced at her husband for a moment, giving a nod and then moved to stand by his side. He wasn't fighting alone and neither was she but she wasn't even convinced they were to be fighting yet. "You want to send them, don't you, Sevilin?"
Zykariel was torn. He wanted to fight but it was pretty clear to him that they were treating him like a child yet again. Malikhai was likely feeling the same frustration he was. He glanced at his friend and then between his parents, giving a sigh of resignation. Clearly his mother was doing that "I'm counting on you" thing she liked to emotionally blackmail him with. "Fine. I'll go."
He was waiting, getting more and more annoyed with the passing of time. Soon he was going to begin storming the fortress and killing all on sight. "Coldiron, if you are even more of a coward I still will kill you. I'll simply kill you on your knees with you begging for death as only a coward should. Face me and die an honorable death or hide and die a coward. The choice is yours!"
