The trick is to reduce the pain to something you can manage. Her weapon locked against his dagger, Cale makes a sudden jab at the exposed shoulder joint of her sword arm, the tip of the thrusting Rapier sliding easily between the chinks of the protective chainmail and through the padding underneath to pierce the woman's flesh*
