I just sort of assume all the new popular games are these big multi-player things. I don't know why.

There's a big boom on multiplayer games so it's almost odd that skyrim has done so well. I suppose the story line carries it so well that the multiplayer is not needed. I my self prefer solo games so it's just the thing for me. smile The new RIG is ok I guess, but there's not a lot of stuff that really peaks my interest. I have to see what it does to the marketplace but I bet the price decrease isn't going to be huge. gaia_angelright

Maybe it's because so many people are doing Valentine's themed avatars now; I bet those items will crash in price in a week.

The side effect on the whole market is more interesting, but I think this RIG is not going to create a larger price drop this time. Cheez, I just got a phishing PM from some n00b user telling that I'm going to be permanently banned if I don't give her my password etc. Seriously, are people really believing these pathetic attempts? emotion_facepalm *sigh* Oh well, that idiot is now reported so I can go back to my usual Saturday cleaning routine. whee gaia_angelright

Usually because there is more story in it and story is my favorite aspect of these games. I do still like some of the multiplayer. My problem with them is I can't commit to sitting at the computer with no distractions long enough to make grouping with people worthwhile. @Humble - I agree with you about the moody heart clouds. lol @Lily - ugh! I doubt there are many people who would fall for that but still... those people are so icky nasty.

humble_gypsy_traveller Teeshann so GREAT news. hubby found the check from 2009 that proves we did pay our IL's rent. even though they are lying and saying we didn't. sister in law who is saying we didn't pay is the one who endorsed the check. he woke me up at 1 am with a text to get on messenger so he could show me. so doing little happy dance that we were able to pull it up. AND had a great dr's appointment today. i'm having a little girl. very, very excited. my son not so much. LOL. although now he thinks we should name her carly ultratron. LOL. he's going to call this baby ultratron no matter what we name her i think. but not sure where he picked up carly from. we don't know anyone named that. so while i'm now wide awake i just feel so good about everything and so glad i can show everyone that we weren't the ones being dishonest. Yay! *does a booty dance of happiness* CONGRATS! Your son isn't a big fan of sci-fi is he? Maybe that's where he got the name. You could tell him that if he's not careful...she'll shoot lazer beams out of her eyes when she's mad and strangle him with her kungfu grip. LOL. he's almost 4. and i have a 6 year old daughter who is very excited to be getting a sister. he does like transformers so maybe that's where he came up with it?

Sammirah I just sort of assume all the new popular games are these big multi-player things. I don't know why. Understandable assumption as most of the big sellers are multiplayer based these days. However the single player market is still going rather strong thankfully. Being the introvert I am I do prefer time to myself when gaming. If I'm playing multiplayer it is usually with a good friend.

Sammirah I'm surprised there are people who think that will work. Did you report her a**? gaia_nitemareleft Yeah, I did it immediately. I wonder how fast Gaia is usually with these guys. I noticed that the scammer stayed online for almost an hour or so. @Camwen: I agree completely with the single player thing. I'm very similar. I like the story and the fact that I can take my time to explore the place. Also, since my days are filled randomly with all sorts of stuff, it would be impossible for me to be online at certain time of the day. gaia_angelright
