Kashan could not help but smile at the serious look in Sam's eyes. "You do not need to take my bed if you do not want to. I would just rather have you close by... besides the beds here are large, if you are comfortable enough to sleep next to such a pervert as myself." he said. His offer was genuine but he felt Sam would deffinatly refuse that offer. The simple truth was that even after all this time he still did not trut the vampires fully. A hungry one was particularly dangerous when there was a human around.

Samantha's face went red again and she laughed lightly "Thats just gunna give me another reasoon to call you a pervert, bed no but im fine with the floor" she said lightly, she wasn't going to accpt the bed offer, too mebarassing but she could tell he was worried about the other people here "Ill try not to get eaten"

Kashan held back a laugh as Sam's face turned bright red again. She was cute when her face went like that, "I thought you already knew I was a pervert." he said with a wink and a laugh. "As long as you are close by then I won't have to worry. I don't know what I would do with myself if you got eaten by these beings." he said with a smile.

Samantha laughed lightl and said "Fine then, Note to self, avoid getting eaten by any sort of being, in other words, dont become dinner" she said lightly. she looekd at him and said "I'm telling myself to trust you to become a little less perverted " she said lightly before another small laugh and added "Or at least trick myself into thinking your not as big of one" she said lightly

Kashan leaned over and kissed her cheek, the humour was needed and apreciated. "I am not that big a pervert... atleast by my standards. I have only caught a glimps of you after all, it isn't that perverted now is it?" He said with a smile, a light laugh and expectign a swift slap. "But seriously, I am no pervert. I am to much of a gentleman to be such a way." he added.

Samanta blushed and crossed her arms over her chest turning away, she was going to slap him but was too embarassed to do so. "If you were a gentalman whould you please forget that" she mummbled feeling her face get hotter

Kashan nodded, "Very well. It is forgoten, never again will it grace my mind." He said. He would do as Sam asked even if he was tempted to remember it. It was gone now, locked away in a section of his mind he devoted to things he had to forget. "Now, would you care to join me up stairs? I think I will need some assistance getting up there." he said as he tried to stand up.

Samantha looked back at him warily before she finnally spoke out and said "You trust a girl who can barly walk up the tsairs on her own to help you up the stairs?" she finally said before she stood and said "Hope you don't minda snails pace" she said calmly

Shadow thought for a moment, "What period would you like to hear of? My youth, the waring year, my fall or my later yeard that i have spent here? There is much I can share with you... much that I have told no one. Perhaps you would like to hear one of those tales that no one living knows?" he asked. The time where Shadow was afraid to admit the truth to himself had long sinced passed, now he was comfortable enough to talk of those events that lead to his near insanity.
Kashan smiled as he put an arm around Sam, "There is no one I trust more than you right now than you Sam and a snails pace is better than nothing. Also if you feel like falling try to land on me. I don't want you hurting yourself." he said as they started thier slow walk to the stairs.

Samantha smiled lightly and then rolled her eyes "yeah yeah sure, ill try to remember that when im falling " she said sarcasitcally as she rolled her eyes once again. She smiled lightly as they walked slowly towards the stair, she liked just being with KAshan and was for once happy about her snail pace.

Shadow nodded, there was a time he rarely spoke of, a time of great happyness and sorrow. "Once upon a time there was a vampire general. He had control over a very large army along side his uncle who acted as an adviser. This general was set to marry woman from another clan to form an alliance. It was a loveless marriage at first, the two only stayed with one another for the benifit of the clans but over time they grew to love one another. It was during one battle against a rival clan that they realised this, in the midsts of a frey on the front lines they turned to one another and at that moment for some unknown reason they fell for one another. It only took abotu 26 yers for them to realaise it. After a time she fell pregnant and they where both happy but this was a time of great darkness for the clans as they had to unite under oen banner to face off against a daemonic hoard. The general road off to battle, leaving his wife behind but against his wishes, she followed him. When the general was locked in combat with his oponent and close to beign defeated she came to his rescue but in doing so lost her life. He was broken after that, the bond they shared left an emptyness within him and drove him to do things he would not have usualy done." Shadow said, a slight tear forming in his eye as he remembered the day and the scream that echoed across the battle field.
Kashan laughed lightly, "I may not look it but I am fairly soft and squishy. It is almost like humans were built to fall down." he joked as they walked. It was a comfort to him being near Sam. he had found no daemon worthy of his affections. They all had thier own agenda's whent hey sought to wed another, all but Kashan that was. He had grown tired of the politics quicky one the gods had been removed.

Samantha laughed and said "You could say that for sure" she said lightly. She felt a sigh escaperr her when she realised they had reached the stairs a few moments later. "now time to tackle the most frightening thing in the world, stairs" she said with sarcastic seriosuness.

Kashan looked up the stairs, they seemed higher than usual on this ocasion, "If we take it one step at a time and keep a hold of the banister then we shoudl be able to make it up there without any trouble." he said as he took the first step up. His legs were nto wanting to go threw such a thing as wlakign up stairs and as such made his life difficult, "It might be me who ends up falling here Sam." he said
